Before i write this im tired sorry if i offend anyone lol

Have you ever been really busy or extremly tired and someone asks you to play a specific game with them? And you go the effort to put " No" as nicely as possible yet they still come out with a " ... " reply, I'm not sure about all of you but i find it frustrating that some people just don't get the idea of " I don't want to play the game!!!!! " So why do some people have the mindset of " Cause i want to play you have to aswell! "


I guess this is a pet peeve of mine really , Does anyone else suffer with this problem / issue? someone bugging them to play a game when they really don't want too ?

Not with games, but I've definitely had this problem with other things.

"No."
"Why not?"
"Because I'm tired, I've been working all day."

The most basic situation on skype

*Missed call from ____*
"Hey! Why don't you accept the call?"
"I'm trying to relax with music after a tough day."
"You sux, come play with us, we need 3rd player!"
"I do not want right now."
"Come on!"
"Not now."
"Go to hell."
"Thanks."

I get it with friends sometimes.

"Hey, come see my NYU show!"
"I'm sorry, but I can't spare the money for a ticket."
"But we're friends!"
"Yes we are, but I have almost no money and I have to save it for food and t-"
"We're not friends anymore!"
"'Kay, then stop asking me to see your show."

Yeah, unless you contribute to an art friend's pastime, you are considered an evil, theatre/film-hating fiend. Even if you need money for, I dunno, food to survive. -.-

I just don't understand why people think they have the right to be so demanding.
