As I wanted a program to save the images displayed by the webcamera, and as the ones I looked at were useless, I decided to knock up this quick and dirty application.



It shows the last 12 images taken, and also saves them all in a Snapshots directory. It won't overwrite the previous images, it just keeps adding to a counter (as the screenshots folder works in JKA).

Start/Stop: turns the camera on and off
Snap Shot: can also be activated by clicking the video image
Open folder: opens explorer to the folder where the images are
You can click on the thumbnails to open the default image viewer
Edit: when depressed it will launch the default editor instead of the default viewer when clicking a thumbnail

This is a stand-alone program, it doesn't need an installer/uninstaller, it will just run from where-ever it placed. Its locked to a 640x480 resolution webcam, but I can change that if needed. Its pretty barebones so if this is useful to anyone and you want more features, just ask

It doesn't create any other files except the images, it doesn't change any settings or write to the registry. I can provide the source code (written in Delphi) if anyone is interested.

Looks like a good program too Jaw, definately better than having to go to a folder after taking the picture D: Can you organize the photos in the program after you take them?

a jawfy program that worked for me i sampled it for ya my camera has a low resolution so its tiny :p but other than that it worked and it made them all into a folder and you can see it as it stayed part on the program

Note, this will now create a file in directory where the executable is run from called "Webcam.ini"

Software updated. Timer on camera, detects when images are deleted - just general tidy-up, more features.

That was back when there was only 1 (yes one) degree offered per University for computing and IT. It was "the" computer degree (back in 1990).
And sorry I missed that question before!
