I'm sorry, what's the problem here? Don't they teach you to swim in America? What's the point of swimming if not to save yourself?

What we use are alligators, not crocodiles. Honestly, it's messed up because the croc's snout is too narrow to cause any real damage. What's the point of swimming to save yourself if the threat is minimal at best?

Honestly.

That's nothing! Try having to backstroke while watching a Gyarydos close in on you. Now THAT's swimming for dear life.

Due to ignorance. Haven't you watched TV? ALL alligators are dangerous there (TV Land). PEople watch too much TV! And even if they didn't they would be "scared of the unknown".

i believe its a crocodile, as i dont think they have many gators in Australia {correct me if im wrong jawfy :D}

but yeah lol, the croc is too small to cause major damage to the swimmers, granted it could cause some damage but i dont think much of it would be lethal

Just trying to imagine the permission slips for this, something like:

Dear Parent,

To encourage your child to swim faster we are planning on chasing them down the length of our school pool with crocs/alligators or similar (depends on what we can get) To ensure you cant sue us for pernament damage to their legs, please sign below and have your child return the slip to his/her teacher.

Many Thanks

[Teacher]

I'm guessing you mean that they should tie the mouth shut. If they did that, it wouldn't give the swimmers an incentive to swim faster
