i got a new sig right?...well my dad is stupid and he put parental controls up...because..well i dont no why..soo i was wondering..anyone have any ideas on how i can upload a picture or sumething through the parental controls...i mean like...not have to deal with the parental controls lol..i need the help!!

Why not try finding away around the controls rarther then through them. >_>

i got the same problems. work with the comp in safe mode. if that doesnt work i got a looong list of steps on how to gain control of the hidden admin. PM me if safe mode doesnt work

ik sdafe mode isnt good to surf the web in. but if u can just get on KR without having to go thru many sites at all, it should be ok, i do it all the time and had no effect......yet.

ur parental controls prevent u from posting pics, or accessing imageshack? as another resort. if ur near a library, email or carry ur pic over there on a flash drive and post it up there, u only need to do it once

Why not simply email yourself the picture then its held in your mailbox

obviously email one thast web based like hotmail, then that can be accessed anywhere.

Grimm makes a good suggestion if poss use a flash drive,.. or MP3 player, I do that all the time stick huge files on MP3 player to copy over.

im trying to upload the picture....i already have the picture..u need to beable to get to image shack...but parental controls stop me...now...if i e-mail it to myself...i will still need to upload it...will i not?

er yeah I was talking about If you needed to say access the file from another location. or why not email it to someone else here and they can upload it for u

Thats the easy way around. One thing you could do if find the process the parental control system is using, and then end it. Then access the internet as needed and then log out and log back in (or restart) the computer and then it will reset the parental controls and it will be as if it never happens. This is not guarenteed to work because some parental control programs hide their processes although this should work for the more standard family ones.

Nah, luckily my parents trust me enough to not put any parental controls down on me. I have helped a fair few of my friends out though and my school use a similar program that monitors me when im opening applications and surfing the net. Ive used a similar process to stop the monitoring . So in some way, yea im experienced, but for the right reasons .

I think you banged the nai on the head, it does depend on what the parential control is and how it works..

Can he access an FTP with this protection up? I believe you can simply type ftp://xxxxxxxxx.com:21 in I.E. and enter the username and password, then just use it like a regular folder and drag 'n drop -- or at least I used to be able to. Not sure if the protection regulates that.

if its macafee, i can help u lots. they suck at life, those ppl. they ant make anything right, virus blocked, scanner, and ho the hell needs a "shredder" to get rid of files.

other than that i have no idea. phos idea sounds like itll work, but if its tied to into a virus blocker like mine are, then u have a problem
