if the council permits it, i woudl like to drop Laika as my Padawan

i cant speak for every1
but i have had no contect with her for over 2 months
on the server, Forums or msn

Before we say its OK, can you send her a PM asking about her movements please? A PM ordinarily will send her an email too, so if she really has fallen off the planet and you don't hear back from her in a week, then I'm sure there'll no problem granting your request.

Last time I saw her, she said she was gonna go play WoW. SOOOOOoooooo, that maybe where she has been.

Blacki, she hasn't been on in months. Even if she did get back on, she'd have to work off the rust.

yea i know that not fair for taipan but for laika 2...all the effort she put there and restart to padawan...if i was laika i would give up and leave the clan /but that true she didnt make a post to abscence section and i give a point to taipan

If it was just a matter of working off the rust, I would say absolutely not to dropping her, because I had to do that several times myself, yet I turned out just fine. However, since she hasn't been on the forums, that's a little different, because it indicates a possible lack of interest. Even when I was too busy to get on the server (like now, actually), I still kept active on the forums to make sure people knew I hadn't died. Still, I don't think we should set a precedent that, if someone is gone and might need to "work off the rust," they should be dropped.

That's not why he's dropping her. She fell off the face of the planet as far as the game and the forums go. I was saying she would need to work off the rust because Blacki was implying that all she needs to do is take her knight trial. But it's not that easy.

By the way Blacki, I disagree. Someone shouldn't leave the clan just because they'd have to start over again. That, in my opinion, would be the mark of a quitter.

I'm sorry, Tai. If she hasn't been active via forums AND server AND MSN, then I don't think she'll be jumping back on in an instant.

1:yep i said she just have to do her trial...also if she was soo rusty,a good week of training and i bet she got her knight trial.

2:everybody doesn't act the same way yes... but would you like to restart to jedi knight again?... not sure you will be happy 2 do it again (talking about ur arbiter statut *staff*)

3:agree or disagree with me ,that my opinion 2 and you can torture me as you want but im not gonna change it that was my last words!

kinda hard for me to Tell her to take her knights trail

i havent heard a word for near on 3 months

so do not jump down my throat about it,

i have been very very paitent

and next time Blacki

keep ur nose out of it

These are only opinions they've come up with mate.

In the end its the council that decides. For future reference for anyone feeling the need to drop their Padawan you need only to PM a council member if you sense your decision will be exposed to ridicule.

Tai. You really need to cool it dood. I see no reason for just gettin so mad at blacki for this. He just told you what he thought and instead of discussing it u talk about his nose. He just thinks what will happen to her is unfair. I also want to point out that there are no single students in this clan atm. You really dont seem to have anything to gain by dropping her.

If anyone has conflicting opinions and feels that they need to express them in a more hostile or insulting manner, then take it to PMs. Jaw's already pointed out that this should have been a PM to Council for this exact reason.

Either way, I hope that either she turns up soon (unlikely, but a fool can dream ) or that you at least get free to have the chance to teach another willing Paddy.

Im just stating my opinion. Im not being hostile. Im just kinda stating what i see as the pros and the cons of this situation.

1` because i had already thought this through, this wasnt a rash "im sick of Laika as a paddy" decision,
she is the best studnet i have ever taught (and i have taught ALOT), and i really dont want to train a new one up, u both say that she is adept and its unfair, mayb but dont forget i cant even get an invite for my masters untill i get Guardian,


2` because i havnt been able to get in contact with her for nearly 3 months, with no absence post, and if blacki has a way of getting hold of her that i dont , then by all means tell her to come do her Knights, cause it woudl save me one hell of a hassell

Its not pure criticism the "nothing to gain" statement is just a con of your decision and I'm just stating that -.- I never said or hinted at any of those other things u mentioned. By the way things are right now it seems that there isnt much to gain here. If a new single student joins and u want to drop her that would be more reasonable

and what gain is there keepeing her right now when she is inactive
and as far as i know droped off the face of the planet never to be seen again
