THing is we dont have extreme weather here often

Its rarley + 30c and rarley heavy snow and ice..

So we buy cars accordingly, and they are fitted accordingly, we dont bother or have snow gripped tyres.

The Mazda MX5 for example one of the best road cars you can get wll not drive in snow as its rear wheel sports drive.

However all is fine except some people try to drive normally on it lol

Pah, to be honest i'm embarrased at my country to some extent. In parts of the world people get 3 foot of snow, and still make their way to work and school. The UK gets barely three inches of snow and it's literally "Shut down the trains, stop the buses, close the schools, we're having a snow day".

I mean I even watched some news reporter the other night saying "due to the adverse weather conditions many people didn't even leave their homes" and he was standing in maybe an inch of snow.

As I said- embarrasing.

The thing I find most amusing about us Brits and the weather is we go through the whole year complaining "We never get any sun", "Its so cold" and "The weather is never nice always miserable"

Then what do we do when we get a really nice sunny day?...........Complain that its too hot

True but they have snow tyres and 4 wheel drive vehicles

Although today I had to walk to hospital

Here in the Midlands was bad snow we had a foot and I was snowed in, normally there is a bus running to the hospital from the end road.

haha, i thourght u had a snow day, a few peeps from ur skool came to ours, and tried 2 kill a group of yr 7ns with snowballs, so all us 6th formers (about 140 of us) run outa commonroom, and charged at them, bundeled them, then killed them with snow... it was fun, lol
