Could I please make a short request to move the main "standing area" to the big room? For some reason everybody goes to the small room with a 100shield and health in he middle of the FFA so I think changing telepoints to the room with the larger nonfighters ledge and no health in FFA area

I'm not asking to make it official or anything, just asking people to move stand/fight there instead (:

Tbh I don't even know why our cycle is back how it was.

I like the cycle the way it is now. Variety is better. Less people complaining about "Oh no, not (insert random map name here)" when the 5-minute waring goes off.

Back on topic, I agree with darfin warr. I think your idea is better; that bigger room is a better ffa area. However, I just don't think people will go there. I'll try next time I'm on the server (which won't be for a while).

lol I don't understand why? Do people like standing up higher? Lol I think if the kr with binds go there, then everybody else will gather there too, or just stand by themselves somewhere else! Most of the servers I've ever gone to with that map always met in the big room

I would guess certain people would prefer challenging areas when FFA'ing/Duelling.
People also enjoy staying in a group while playing.

i recon the main reason is, in that room, uve got the door way behind u, so some1 could lame u from behind, but in the small room there isnt that problem, so it helps us deal with lamers, coz we can see them.

from our accident that happened when KR crashed.. star hasnt put the server 100% back to the way it was.

I think it is almost in some way human nature to stand somewhere. Even if you get lets say all 5 KR members out of 15 players on at the time to stand there the other 10 non-members might not move.

I know this has happened before where I would train my paddy in that area while other KR have watched, but the smaller area with the 100 shield was still the main place for duels and FFA.

But still, its an interesting social experiment. I would recommend trying it everytime this map comes up.

I can remove that shield or put it somewhere else if u wanna do it that way

Yes the shield is a great place to aim your red dfa's

Ok i made my solution to the problem, i edited the ffa4 map and relocated the health and 100 shield out of the ffa arena to somewhere else:



if u wanna use this star has to put the following pk3 file into whereever you put pk3 files into the server. no1 has to have it put the server and itll autoload when the map starts =)

thats weird. every time i play that map everyone always used that room as the main room. in fact im not sure which large room ur talking about

and yes, we do like being up high. more height = more control
