for anyone who hasnt checked this out yet, watch it like 3 times in a row, it twists your brain around a stick....

i personally believe there are 17 dimensions, because if the 10th dimension is a point that encompasses everything within the system, it must exist in a place outside the system, there for dimensions 1-7 can be continued as 11-17, until finally u reach an infinite amount of everything inside and outside the system, at the 17th dimension, at which point you cant move any further.
kinda crazy to think how primitive 3 dimensions are...

well.. looking at the relativity of dimensions 7 & 8. while he may stop with 10. with infinite propability in one deminsion (8) you may also percieve that within 10 there are still infinite possibilities for and infinite amounts of infinity. Hard to understand and explain.
Not to flame your theory Grimm but wouldn't repeating the system still be the same system? Considering you have the currently percieved system as a part of an outer system. In order to explain the outer system you must first put it as a part of the system, and seeing as the 10th dimension considers all possibility would that not make it a part of the 10th?
The 10th dimension may be a point, but considering it contains all versions of probability there would be no way for it to be continued.
Just my thoughts, and it gave me a headache.

Id say if your thinking outside the box (see what I did there) of the 10th then you go as far as infinity. Or you accept 10 as a whole.

I'd say people who theorise this much to prove whats already apparent have far too much time on their hands.
Despite the fact of travel through time apparently being impossible, as proved by scientists. Probably disproved now although if it was possible we would already know about it. Now sticking with the probability of it being implausible to travel through time this would I believe make all dimensions in relation to the altering our perception and position in the 4th dimension impossible and therefore non-existant.
In our world as it is now we have 4 actual dimensions Length, Breadth, depth and Time. All others are just theoretical probabilities and if the line of thinking used in this video was applied to the first three dimensions... then if we moved halfway back along the first dimension then this would be a dimension unto itself shall we call it the 1.1 dimension? And we could go on to the 1.2, 1.3, 3.18272 and so on...Until we reach the point of infinity.
So following this thinking theory through the amount of dimensions is directly proporsional to how we define our own universe and a matter of point of view. Some may see finite possibilities limited by only the length, breadth and depth of their own imaginations... yet for those who factor time into their imagination they will se infinite possible dimensions. As obvious if we as 3 dimensional beings could freely travel through the 4th dimension then anything would be and already is possible.
I could go on but I don't have time at the minute not disproving the theory as a whole but you can only call an apple red or green so many times without repeating yourself.

sureley we are in charge of our own destiny's. so 4 or 5 are linked..
Although when you get to 8 9 etc, well variations in destiny is one or the other..
So follow that through to conclusion then either one or the other are right and the others cease to exist.
Basically not all are contiguous.

Interesting. I wish science magazines would explain things like this, rather than leaving jargon there for the sake of wow'ing people.

They love the wow factor and the crypticness.. Not to ruin the Enigma

all of you bring up a good point. we are all entitled to our own beliefs, and seeing how there is not a currently proven theory, there is no right or wrong answer yet. i simply posted this to show one of the theories.

A hologram is a 2d representation stretched into 3d throught the manipulation of protons (light).
