Annihilation [Edited Version]

~Opening~
Generation by generation. People believe that human’s are the only living beings in the universe. Some people speculate that there is “life” somewhere beyond this solar system. However until five years ago, I would have believed what ever non scientist did, there was only us, and there was no disproving it otherwise.
The year 2020 from what I know started the whole jump into futuristic civilization. It was a time were money was virtually nothing anymore, you didn’t have to have a job to live in a nice apartment or home. It seemed like everyone knew how to take care of one another. Even crime and violence eventually disappeared.
However over time, everything began a mass spread across the globe. Violence and mass killings occurred once again. Killing more then three fourths of the world and throwing what was left of people into total chaos.
It became clear after a while that to survive, man would be thrown back into the primal extinct of kill or be killed.
Over time, one by one they disappeared. Those that were left fought hard to subsist. This is when things seemed to get worse. A few people that lived for the exact purpose to bring the world back to tranquility met there first encounter.
After a few small battles were waged, it became obvious that things were going to become far worse. These people that fought for peace and justice slowly started to gather around the world. Using there abilities they were giving at birth to prove that earth could punch back, the first great war was waged.
This wasn’t enough to make a point.
Now, in order to survive Earth will have to prove its metal once again while it is caught in a six way galactic battle between the human race, and five other unheard of and extremely powerful races from over several large and unknown universes.
