I know this is a little off-topic, but I wasn't sure where else to post in my 5 seconds of browsing, so... I'm having an issue of replacing a regular saber with a custom one (the purpose being using a saber on any MP server without the server actually having it), I've been trying it for about an hour now and I can't seem to get it.

If anyone has any experience in doing this or if they have a hunch I'm all ears, thanks in advance.

the only thing i think you can do is this: Keep the file name the same as the one your using.. edit the picture's of the hilt.. thats it.. anything else may not work..keep an eye on the size of the pictures also.. you dont want them to big etc it may be capped etc.

I know it's possible to adjust the model as well, I see plenty of files on jk3files.com stating that they replace a certain default saber, I've tried to imitate their method but it never really seems to work, I'm sure there's some easier method to go about but I can't get it.

EDIT: Also if I don't get it, would it be possible for the server to host the saber to use?

Sorry for double post, I managed to get it done, if anyone wants to try it out it replaces single_4, looks cool with black saber color.

PS: this isn't my model, original by cable (search up "cable saber" and you'll see this. only difference is you can use this on any server)
