The bright rays of the sun began filtering through the bedroom shades of Tifa's home. At the same time, the phone rang. Tifa jumped up in surprise before falling back on the bed. "Ow!...Hello?" She talked for only a minute before hanging up. She then rubbed her eyes sleepily before sitting up and clambering out of bed. As she peered out the window, she thought, "Ah...another gorgeous day in Alderaan...it's a shame I never get to stay to enjoy the day." She looked at the clock, muttering, "I hate having to rush to Coruscant when they call..."

Suddenly, she heard rustling coming back from the bed. "Oh no," she thought, "I must have awoken Aran..." "Go back to sleep...I'm just getting ready to go to KR, that's all," she said.

Aranion grumbled sleepily. "I'm already awake. I've been awake for almost a half hour now. Can't sleep. Who was on the phone?"

"I told you, Aran. They want me down in Coruscant this morning for a meeting. It was RaVen...she said that there were important matters to discuss, so they need all members of knight rank or higher present."

"Another meeting? Again? It seems like you're always running down there...KR meetings are all you ever do these days..."

Tifa could tell that Aranion was just slightly grumpy from lack of sleep, so she kept her tone soft. "Now that I'm a knight, I'm more important to them...it's like a family, KR...you should come down sometime and see what I mean. Maybe then you'd understand...and maybe even decide to join yourself eventually."

"You wouldn't mind if I joined? Because...that would be awesome...we could spend more time together doing things that YOU like to do." He smiled at her.

"Well, alright...do you want to come down today? You can't go to the meeting, obviously, but you could hang around the Academy and talk to some of the lower ranks." Tifa chuckled as she saw the expression on his face.

"Sure, that'd be cool. You're gonna be late if you don't leave soon...so let's go."

They walked outside, where Tifa said, "Alright, Aran, stand still."

"Why?"

"Because I'm going to teleport us to the Academy. It's a LOT faster than having to wait for shuttles. If you move, it might not take you as well."

"Oh. Alright."

The next thing Aranion knew, his whole body felt funny and he couldn't see a thing. However, that feeling only lasted for a split second before he felt solid ground beneath his feet again. He blinked his eyes and looked around, awestruck. "So this is what the Academy looks like..."
