GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem
i'm assuming that is what it failed on, since that's the last message in the log. anything openGL is going to be graphics related, usually. go through the whole run o' the mill with updating drivers 'n such for the videocard. i guess i should ask how new/old their computer is before i say anything.

As Syl suggested, ensure the following is installed:
http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/J ... _101;20459
If it still doesn't work, update your graphics drivers to the latest ones. If that doesn't work, let me know and we can go through some troubleshooting steps.

Appears to be a very frequent problem here, I am sure its going to be your graphics driver.
For nvidia go to
www.nividia.com
for ati go to
www.amd.com

This happened to me last week as a matter of face.
I restarted my computer and it was literally fine.

errr well I would really try to install the patch, and also
like somebody said earlier, GL subsystem is a graphics error, so try to update and make sure everything is fine with his graphics card etc, you may also want to make sure his computer specs match up with the minimum required jka specs.

If the problem is persistance get a new Graphics driver
FInd his chip model from teh device manager, and then Richard postes the sites where you get the driver.

Is it running vista? If so: All you have to do is "Open as Adminstrator" This is basically done by right clicking the icon, and under properties somewhere, there's a box saying "Open as adminstrator" just click it..
If it's not.. just ignore me.

Try that first before anything else

it was actually rather funny how it happened, i tried to upload some of this stuff and he said it was all to "technical for him" and decided to just, well uuhhh destroy it xD.... (hence why he doesnt come near my computers)
topic can be locked and hope to god this kid doesnt get a new computer

no offence but some people are retards.. there is allways an explanation for technical problems with a computer, even if his computer was old...

It was a 2 minute fix..
Wasteful to trash his computer..
Infact regardless of whether it worked or not, why would somone do that?
Tbh Most of the help questions now I dont get too involved in.
I like to help people and I am very pleased when it works and we sort stuff out, always more than willing usually, but here you either get people not willing to have a go at your suggestions, impatient or I dunno sometimes people give you a hard time.. or its a waste of effort.

I agree with Chantelle, I didn't even bother making suggestions here; although I was personally angling towards directX stuff, but why bother try?

I actually spoke to Chantelle in person about this before, while this issue is irrelevant and minor to a bigger cause.
While it is very difficult to diagnose things from peoples words over the net at delayed incriments what you get however is a high qualified professional actually helping..
IF peopel want these peoples help seriously they shouldn't mess them about. Especially since they are so willing to help and in long run save you hassle time and of course money..

I agree
Diagnosiing a problem with littel information and a user who isnt understanding or tranlsating a problem means we often have to dig deep and research the problem
I do not think its worth it anymore..
