Couldn't resist not posting it, saw this about a week ago. Thought i'd share it with you all
It amazes me how one man (shown in the above video) can start something that is now worldwide, with over 6000 videos on Youtube when searching "Free hugs".

This guy is worthy of being called a Hero of his kind. Just one man , and there went a chain reaction , world wide free hugs campaign. Watching the video Phoenix sent ,made me feel sad of the loses of the people , but also happy for all of them, they had a moment of a good feeling. I have much more to tell, but with my lame english I'll just stop going that far. He's named Juan Mann, I am sure he deserves a good in this life.

A few years back I went to Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. Its the biggest city of Australia, 1/3 of the country's population lives there. And one outstanding thing my wife and I noted is that no one smiles. I mean, we activately search out for happy looking people, on the trains, streets, restuarants, and the only laughs came from teenagers who were up to no good anyway.
We found it a sad place, and thus obviously the perfect place for hug-man to start up. Australians are more distant than Americans, we're not touchy-feely people (we keep a large personal distance even when talking); so what this guy accomplished there is amazing. We were there for a happy occasion, and so the contrast between the denizens and our visiting friends was remarkable.
It makes me glad to see there are still people on this planet that I would consider human; as opposed to selfish, self-serving animals.

I know exactly what you mean
Reminds me of London, Paris NY etc..
The metroplois doesnt seem to be the happiest level of society, and do not get me wrong I am a city man born and bred, not a hint of rural blood in me. But city life is so intense.
