Maybe it's the fact that i'm american, but, that was probably one of the absolute most screwed up things I've seen in a while. Although, for pure "wtf" factor, it made me smirk.

The competition is a complete farce every year anyway and it looks like Ireland entered a complete joke to make a mockery of it all because the whole thing is a load of tosh.

But alot of nations boo'ed it


I dont even know what UKs entry is, dont wanna, last year was highly embarressing and I think well it was very Homosexual orientated

You kind of need to be Irish to get the joke. As Dustin the Turkey (the singer) is very well known in Ireland. He started off as a kids thing but has just moved up the ranks into the Irish mascot.
Since all the Eastern countries were involved in the competition (not being racist) its all turned to crap. Not only to they vote for eachother all the time, but their style and taste of music is sooo completely different. Eurovision has become less and less about the music, and more and more about the act. Dustin has released something like 10 albums and 11 singles (LOL), prity much as a joke. SO when Ireland hadnt really anyone decent to put in Dustin leaped at the chance. His act was described as a total pisstake by himself and Irish media ever since it came up. His song is "Ireland Douze point", for people who dont know means "Ireland 12 points". And for other people who dont know, 12 points is the highest amount of points a country can give in eurovision. So the song was a pisstake even starting at the title. Alot of mixed views in Ireland about this, some people think its a disgrace to Ireland, other people understand the joke and think it was bloody brilliant. Me being one of them xD Just listen to the words "Oh europe, oh europe, oh where, oh where, did it all go wrong?" And then something something something "bad acts and bad acts and terry wogan too!"
