Almost turned vegetarian looking at this. When i say vegetarian, i mean "I will eat pizza, hamburger and food from burger king and macdonalds and not chinese food".

It's cheaper here instead of £3.69 it's usually about $1.00 to $2.00 at max... maybe this explains why people are obese here? *note to self... kill McDonalds for making America fat...*

Edit: I agree 100% McDonald's food is really really horrible....

Serious question

Maybe this might sound igorant as I have been there a few times but

What if there is, a proper American US dish cuisine? By that I do nto mean chicken breast with some bbq sauce and cheese and say new york chicken I mean is there proper dishes that identify with your country and culture.

For example Piaella Spanish
Beog boiningoin (sp) French
Stifardo - Greek
Mousaka - Greek

The roast dinner even christmas roast all originates from here In Britain

As does Chicken Tikka and Balti, its British not Indian which is a common mis conception, even though I still call it an Indian lol

Pie in general has been made for 100s and 100s of years back to medievil times. Apple being one of them actually..

Thats why I asked, I couldnt think of any food which is actually your own cuisine its all a cocktail of other foods from Europe, Asia and Mexican it seems.

I did wonder if there was actually a real cuisne or style I wasnt aware of.

Dunno why I asked, its just alot of people woudl just say fast food when well I am sure you have great cooking and stuff I just wonder what it is.. Although to be honest recipes are there for modification
