Just thought I'd tell you guys I got an Asus Eee PC at last lol.

If anyone wants to know what they are like or have any general questions about them that I am likely to know then ask here

Thanks dude, I just had a quick look, probably go back and browse it properly when im on my bigger laptop, Im loving my eee, the only thing I criticise is that the keys can be a bit dodgy, sometimes you press a key but it doesnt actually type it, Im hopig its just tempermental and that given time they will be better, other than that its really good

Also I forgot to say, I have the 2gb Surf version.

how you finding the operating system

what uses are you going to have for it?

It cost £230 but due to Andy's wonderful discount it was only £207ish

Im finding the operating system different to say the least, Im not interested in changing to windows at all, pretty much because Linux is smaller and also less chance of catching virus's and spyware etc.
However Im finding online tutorials to tweak settings such as how to enable the start menu and how to change the background etc.

Its pretty much for use at school, and a cool gadget to show off to people, honestly, peoples faces when you take it out your bag, its priceless XD

But yeah, basically, I want it for web browsing and word processing amongst other things such as msn, music a little bit etc.
