ewwww.... dude just no, Ever since they completely redid the fighting and experience system the game went to crap, it used to be that you had to do certain things to become jedi or sith, and now you can pick it right away, and all the people that did the special things before the change got the word ''Elder'' in their name. The only good thing left in that game is flying in space. They totally butchered that game...

hence the reason i quit a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

I used to play that.
I liked the fly-in-space-killing-Rebels-and-Pirates part.

I loved the old version. I think I went through almost every profession trying to get to be a Jedi, and then they freaking made that update (whenever I finally got all 5 Holocrons and was "Force Sensitive") and everything went to shame!

It's fun? Sure. Is it as fun? No.

They should have made different kinds of servers, ones with the old settings, and new with the new settings.

That'd be sweet! I would start playing again in an instant if that happened.

I have heard its KOTOR online or something, thenagain I have heard there is going to be a KOTOR online aswell!!

I guess you could kinda say its like kotor... but you only control one person, Moves are time based (ever move has a cooldown) and You can pick professions to make money n stuff, like Doctors, entertainers(dancers), etc.

I mean there were things that made the game great, but when they changed the experience system, and some other stuff, it just greatly altered the game, and not for the better D:

i played SWG but i totally lagged on tatooine..due to my graphics or dunno probably so i gave up the game

oh and, the jedi star fighter pwned, i miss mine T_T

That is a sad storey, I never had chance to play the game as it was but it sounded like it was or could have been great..

shame they had to butcher it

still there is always the same old rumour of a KOTOR online coming out... taht could be good... but its going to be a rumour until I retire at this rate

I just got a SWG Emulator that has servers run in the old version of SWG. Cool, eh? It's almost like World of Warcraft Private Servers.

Call me stubborn but I am still playing SWG for better or for worse haha. I did the village to become a jedi, then the NGE hit, I gave up my elder robes, became an officer and been firing artillery shells ever since at the pvp fields.

But SWG has gotten a little better since the NGE, Chapter 7 (what they're calling the publishes) has actually gotten alot of old people come back to my lonely and small server. Plus giving officers like me more artillery makes me smile.

So yeah I still find SWG fun on the planets and in space blowing up star destroyers in my Adv. X-Wing.
