in 2003 we were by far the best side in the world and won the cup accordingly... this time around we have a side that has struggled yet we are in the final!! GET IN!!


However he may not be at his best but you got to say... when it comes to it he is the best

Even his early misses were extremeely difficult kicks narrowly missed.. his tackling and humility is amazing!!

who wilkinson?? why I knwo his kicking hasn't been on song (alledgely their is issues with the ball)

But its not just about kicking, it is his tactical decison making his work rate... his tacking..

I also think Moody is worth a shout too his is really looking good.. and of course the tight 5 at te front shown up again..

it was guts to perform there... but at the wend wilkinsons drop goal was pretty impressive.. 47 metres.. plus then we were awarded a pentaly which he took down to their 22 line..

Yes he is not 100% what he was in 2003 yet.. but he is a critical component..

not bad considering how badly we started off against USA , we shoudl ahve thrashed them instead we had an easy win but not convincing.. then SA battered us..

Now we could face them in the final..

I dunno, the french defense is perhap one of the best in teh tornament

We didnt conceed a try against this explosive midfield... we nearly broke through a few times with Robinson, Lewsey and Hipkiss.

I am not the biggest of rugby fans tbh its Chantelle and her boyfriend who plays it massive fans.

Yes he isnt having his best all round game but you gotta say he does it when it coundt still and his other contributing to the team and cool head under pressure makes so much difference

Yeah, footballers are so overated, your constantly hearing about how much they earn blah blah blah in the papers, its so boring.

Rugby is all about playing the game for your country, also its a lot more manly, I mean, footballers prance around like p***y's all the time flashing their cash, rugby players go out there, get covered in mud, bleed repusively and play on. Thats what I call a game!

A football gets hardly touched goes to the floor holding his face trying to cheat to get a free kick then screams and swear at the referee.

A rugby player gets knocked down and stands stright back up ... maybe bleeding and hurting but they get on with it, they dont argue with the ref...

Its about discipline and passion.. Traits which long left the sport of football.

Tbh I think SA will win purely because their team is a lot better this year and ours isnt.

However, as you said, if we could win that'd just be so awesome

It will also be rather amusing since theres a SA guy at my school in the sixth form, so I'd get to tease him about it >=D

overall yes they have better players and are a more complete side... we do have a dads army side


POST world dup however ... thats when it was a good time for England fans to get motivated... there is alot of fresh talent coming through the ranks.

Thats why given the state of teh team prior to the start , it was going to be a case of finish the world cup in the quarters and then build a new team from there
