If your using XP im sure theres a an option you can choose to have each user have their own setting etc... dunno if that will stretch to programs as well. But if your dad check it and is an administrator on your PC then... well he'll be able to see whatever you have installed anyways.
Seems the hard work option may be only way forward

I'm sure there is a registry key you can erase that will remove it from the Add/Remove program. Do a little digging on google.

I have easy option on this thing... When i need to father dont find something, what i installed, i just do Log off WinXP Manager and after it, he will never find it ( only if he use Search tool ). If you want this program ( it is as system, just in view and you can make everything like you want ) just tell me and i will send you link for it.

This is what i do:
1. When i have installed the 'files' or 'whatever' i copy it into another folder (doesnt matter where for the moment)
2. go to start --> controll panel (or whatever) --> removfe/add files or whatever... i dont know the english one... find the 'thing' you installed and uninstall it. (it wont uninstall the copyed folder of whatever-you-got.
3. Rename alot... (skip 2 if it doesn't show up in the ...installed-files list)
lol

ok i tried that, but i also put the program in windows so the icon didnt apear in add/remove programs, when i clicked remove it said:
"This program is already uninstalled, do you want to remove it from add/remove programs"
so it works
thanks everyone
