Alright i've worked out i can't get back on server until my graphics card is functioning normally

It always says that the graphics driver isn't responding to messages from the graphics card. Or it was the other way round

Guys i really need help and want to get back to playing as soon as poss so please help me

you just arnt having good luck latly :S

turn off everyprogram on your comp like virus protectors, instant messagers, all other usless shit, also try a defrag <----- helped me play css ^^ yea try all those above and after u do tell m and i got 2 more steps to do after that lol (i kno all about this stuff my comp is a good wrothless pile of shit ^^)

OK i have two choices i either buy a new graphics accelerator or graphics card either way its £100+ or i give JA a go without the new crap

Okay first of all is this just JA or all games (it could be that the software is the issue than the card, thats why a whittlling process is important)

First simple step is to obtain the latest driver

REMOVE old driver install new one.

Test to see if different..

If no

Next step go START | RUN then type

dxdiag

Run the tests on there see what results you get.

test again if no


Then next step is to reseat the card physically in the slot..

Also worth while trying another/ spare card if available..



Incidentally what card is it? do you know if its AGP or PCI-E?

safe mode is ur best friends btw.....usually itll let u do more diagnostics cuuz less stuff is runing, and it will naturally NOT let any program start without ur approval, so its easier to isolate the problem

a mention on that, since safe mode does not load any graphics drivers do not attempt any game test or dxdiag text in safe mode.

It's not just games it's everything even the boot up process
