Hello.

A couple of days ago, I connected to your server and was banned before I could even join the game. While it's your right to ban whomever you please, I'd very much like an explanation:

I've been away from JKA for almost a decade, and your server was literally the first server I'd connected to since my absence. I did so on the recommendation of a friend (Artorius) who still plays, and we were both very confused by the incident. He asked around, but couldn't find any admins and eventually recommended that I make a post here.

I assume that I connected to your server with the same IP address that I'm using now; I don't use a VPN and never have.

Unfortunately you share extremely similar connection details to a very badly behaved fellow countryman. The mistake was noticed then, the firewall rule was corrected and the ban lifted days ago.

If I recall correctly, I tried reconnecting the day afterwards, and so I must have been banned for at least two days. Nevertheless: thank you for unbanning me; I played on the server today, and I had a good time.

Ah sorry, I did miss the alert on this one, yes. You'll just have to beat me up on server!!
