Myk here,
Long time player of the Jedi Knight series and former founder of the |IS| clan (Impuresouls). I am very happy to find friends and fans still active and playing. In our heyday we over 200 members active on our forums and in our servers, that was like 2005-2009. A clanmate and I ran the servers for those years.
I have been coming to KR for over a year now off and on, my interest and time that can be spent is really sporadic these days so I appreciate being able to come to see friends and go about my business

I love the saber element of the game and fluid movement of your character, any starwars games fans know that this is a delicate balance to achieve to make a game fun, look at the control scheme of KOTOR or TOR, I was never a fan of point and move based. I was never all that great at the game, however, I had decent saber skill at one point of training and could ...kind of keep up in FF battles but gripkick is an enigma that is both super powerful to wield but also super frustrating to have wielded against you, I had super freakouts in the day lol.
Anyway glad to be involved in some part and I feel like I made a similar post here not long ago. For this account, I had to use alternate email addy because my primary was already registered here, so at some point, I was here in the past if admins could look that up please and gimme the login info so I can see my old post (if I made one) account tied to the email addy xevn11@msn.com.
I am really into trying to get my current system and files up to par as they were when I was an active player. I had tones of skins and maps and loved to explore new maps and just chill in game sometimes. Now that I have come back I am seeing great new stuff like the extra chapters mods that you can get for the single player game, I would love to try these but my system is having a hard time running things like old systems did. I can not get servers to load correctly if I want to play solo on custom maps. I have the JK2 mod and it was a BI*CH to get that to work correctly and there are still some flaws. My main goal right now is to get all my files and maps working correctly within my own self ran server so that I can make videos of the game and post them, I have already recorded tons of time in KR
I am sure someone here will be able to help me achieve all of this. BTW shout out to Rogue and Morrigan for giving me tips the other night that assisted with my jk2 mod, ypur tips helped and thank you!
I love sci-fi and fantasy, have always been a huge fan of star wars and will still give them a chance even after Solo and episode 8 (such a disappointment). As I was telling a player yesterday I am still active on our old clan forums (the only one I think) and you can get a full history of our clan and the fun we had back then as well as recent posts from me there, i'll leave a link this one time just for reference sake ...I AM NOT TRYING TO STEAL OR RECRUIT PLAYERS, this is just in transparencies sake and love of the game and community. Anyway, I am sure you all have read and heard enough and I will see you in server, oh and looking forward to any more tips you all can give me on reaching my JKA goals, thanks!
