Unban Request

Hey guys, I just moved recently and I'm pretty sure I got hit with the auto-banner. I had connected to the server before I swapped out the router that was already here for my own, so the successive ip changes must have triggered it.
Thanks, Asterisk.

Is not you mate. And besides, getting hit by auto-banner means you managed to connect first. In this instance you just inherited an IP which was banned prior. There's nothing I can do about this as that guy is poisoning the water you swim in, so to speak! On the rare occasion this happens just do what you did, post here, and we'll clear it for you. Sorry.

I'm a little bit confused by this response, does this mean I wont be playing due to someone else's negligence?

Sorry, I should have explained better! I lifted the ban as soon as I saw it - I then saw your post here later and tried to explain how the ban was there. It was place already,
it's not like you connected then got kicked and banned (which is what the auto-ban thing you mentioned is). That already happened to the perp in the past. Obviously his WAN/Public IP has changed and you inherited the one he had - so I removed it from the ban list. But, it is possible, that in the future you will again get another one of his IPs and thus may be blocked.
On the flip side, he may well get an IP we've cleared, only to have it black-listed again. While your ISP is determined to keep flipping your IPs around this can't help but happen.

Gotcha. Still shows as banned, however.
