Remove Movie Battles and try running JA+ on its own. Movie Battles is a separate mod and can conflict with Japlus.

I would also recommend using OpenJK or EternalJK which gets rid of alot issues regarding UI and Video issues. Correct me if I am wrong, but it also stops the requirement of using a disc.
https://builds.openjk.org/
Download the latest build for your operating system.
Extract the contents of the file into the Jedi Academy GameData/ folder. For Steam users, this will be in <Steam Folder>/steamapps/common/Jedi Academy/GameData.
Run openjk.x86.exe (Windows), openjk.i386 (Linux 32-bit), openjk.x86_64 (Linux 64-bit) or the OpenJK app bundle (macOS), depending on your operating system.

hell yeah, that's working, also while this is going on, do you know how to get a 1920x1080 resolution?
the game doesn't offer that

the game doesn't offer that
open/create your autoexec.cfg in the base folder and type in these commands on separate lines using notepad:
seta r_customwith "1920"
seta r_customheight "1080"
seta cg_fov "97" (you can set this to your preferred fov but I don't suggest anything less)
seta r_mode "-1"
vid_restart
If the way I explained it doesn't make much sense just look up forcing 1080p for jedi acadamy and you will get a lot of results.
