Knights Reborn

Hi all,

A player by the name of "Mg" aka JOLTZ decided to continuously reconnect to avoid one of Rogue's punishments.

This, of course, ended up creating spam on the screen due to the "has joined the game" thing that pops up.

Rogue's admin, I believe, gives him the ability to kick a player. The guy was continuously reconnecting out of punishment, so there was more than enough justification to kick him. Kicking a player doesn't make anything show up on the middle of the screen, the notification shows up in tiny text on the top-left of the screen.

So instead of doing that, Rogue decided to sleep "Mg" every single time he joined the game. This ended up doubling the amount of spam on everybody's screen from the whole ordeal.

Rogue kept sleeping him after every single reconnect for at least a half hour. Despite multiple pleas by multiple players for Rogue to just kick "Mg" in order to reduce screen spam, Rogue decided to continue doing so and even responded with "Oh well, his fault for reconnecting" at one point.

Anyway, this stuff stressed people out for no good reason and despite people requesting Rogue to stop he kept doing it anyway. Idk it was pretty annoying.

We appreciate that constant Center-Print is annoying, and the offender causing this isn't even affected by it (due to /recon). Whilst Rogue didn't do anything wrong, in this circumstance I would encourage our admins to take alternative solutions to this problem. In such a case they can use commands like amtele (into a wall), or force to spec (which requires them to wait 5 seconds before they can join again, and the [Knight] admin can temporarily lock the Free team) which have no CP text. Ditto for amghost (a clever way of taking them out of the game, and ironically can be fun for them, perhaps turning their bad attitude around) and even amprotect which glitches the first attack, but could be considered a reward.

Usually there is a leader available who can take it to the next level, as it was in this case when John came on and dealt with him (that his, talked him down so he played reasonably with the other visitors)..
