Battlefront 2 ( 2005 ) multiplayer has been restored.

Really great news. Servers are back up and you can now play with friends as you did back in the days.
Note that players have struggled getting on, probably because they underestimated how many fans would funnel onto the multiplayer. Give it time, like any new multiplayer game. Enjoy!
Watch those wrist rockets.

oooo :O maybe I'll jump on with a few friends, but Im more excited for battlefront 2 2017 tbh

Does this take a mod, or did someone take over the gamespy domain and host on it? This is awesome news!

Before now, you needed Gameranger to get online. As of right now, the original servers had been restored to just how they used to be at release. All official.

good that the yogscast comp competition just started because the update screwed up the compatibility for windows xp and now i can't play, i am really excited about it though

Yep it sure as shoot has too bad it crashed my PC multiple times , Could barely walk let alone shoot cause of the lag and eventually refunded the game on steam
