So, we all know that my modeling skills have improved in JKA, (and just now I found a better method of triangulation which makes the model shade SOO much more smoother, so KotorBase will also get reworked), and just recently I found a way how to extract models from Dragon Ball Online!!!

Yep, that long dead MMO which I still have on my pc because shutup, is finally cracked by me.

So, putting 2 and 2 together, I will announce that I will make a Dragon Ball Online pack for Jedi Academy. This will take ALOT less time than the Kotor pack because
a.) its lowerpoly, making it easier to weight paint
b.) requires less parts
c.) I will just be doing the main cast, ie. Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan, Krillin, etc.

There will also be the customization character ofc, so feel free to make your own OC with this :P and now from my experience in kotorbase, I know how to add much, much more items to customization.

I haven't started yet, but I am collecting the models to begin the process. Once I get the models, its literally just a few steps until I get going and finish the project. As I said, this will be much faster than the Kotor project. For comparison, here is Goku from Dragon Ball Online:

Can't wait to begin...extracting the models and formatting them as you read this...unless you are reading this in like 5 hours from now, by then Goku would probably already be done, and Vegeta would be functional but with some problems....that or you aren't reading this at all, because really who reads this part of a post? I could say that Cloud is a cry baby who will never win a duel against me, and no one would notice....then again, he rarely checks the forums and oh why am I still typing.

You always make quality products, Manda. Can't wait to see it! I probably won't download it, or I won't be keeping it for long as I'm not a DBZ guy ( or anime at all for that matter ), but definitely want to see what you've got.

I will probably add a shader file to it, to make it glow some to look more like the original model.

Oh, and also...it will take a little longer than I thought to get the other characters...why? Well because the people who made DBO were horrible with naming files, and so I have to now scavenge through files trying to see which file is what. Goku for example was n_gku_a1. That's simple, but everyone else is so strange, like, who knew an old woman would be n_ojc_j1???

Added sound effects and more transformations. YES, the auras are optional.

Btw, bad news, see, Dragon Ball Online is split into multiple files, much like how JKA has assets0, assets1, assets2, and assets3, Dragon Ball Online has texture files ranging from tex0.pak to tex60.pak, and for models it goes from obj0.pak to obj104.pak....yeah.
So, when I was saying that I could only find Goku's files, and I couldn't find the other ones, its because they must be in one of those other files...and those are too big to be decrypted by my current extracting methods....

Good news is, I found a new extracting method :D and should have ALL models properly converted granted I overcome the horrible naming system and unorganized folders that DBO has.

Good news and bad news again.

Bad news is that the new extracting method can't extract the models because the file is a.) extremely larger than the original, and therefore not able to open and b.) encrypted in a different way from what this extractor can handle.

Good news is, I can still get textures from the game, so I will try to recreate the models using my own skills and using the textures. Here is a work in progress of Vegeta:

Thanks, and good news! I managed to extract some more models, so these WILL be in Jedi Academy:

Kid Gohan: Note, this will be modeled as a normal humanoid, so in it's normal model form it will be big, but I will make a youngling version which will make him small like a kid on the KR server

Not satisfied til I see the 2 strongest Z fighters Yajirobe and Hercule! not joking! Awesome job though Manda love seeing your modelling work it's always great.

Thanks, and yeah, Yajirobi and Hercule both happen to be in another object pack file that cannot be decrypted yet, so I can't get them. In other news Tien has been ported, so that's something.
