Hello everyone! I have been considering jumping in JKA for some time now... haven't played much of any game for some time (no time). Was wondering what has changed in the JKA and -KR- worlds. Where is the best place to get my hands on the right mods, and which ones?

Hey Tacsmart. KR hasn't changed very much, except I'm the mascot and even have a big suit to wear on the streets. A great place for mods is jkhub.org, wonko.de/jk3files/Jedi Academy, and moddb.com.org. Note that many of the authors have copied the content from across these websites, but Mrwonko's tends to have the most unique.

did you know I once racked up 444 kills and 330-340 deaths, they deemed me 'Katastorm', I'll be your first friend though I'll show you the ropes and might train you the basic moves and stuff. (if you want)

Thanks so much for the kind "welcome backs". I have missed the atmosphere for some time. Question: It's been a couple years since I played JKA and I'm wondering what mods everyone is using (or at least -[KR]-). I noticed the Downloads page is out of date.

Still using JA+?
Still using UU?

any better options, things I should know? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!! <3

I doubt there is a universally used mod across the board of the KR mafia, but the closest there is would be the KR skinpack, which is located here http://www.knights-reborn.org/forum/vie ... =12&t=9889. I do highly recommend using JA+ ( or JA++ ) alongside UU for convenience, creative, and speed's sake.
