Am I Banned??

Hey everyone. There is something I am concerned about

So because of work and uni I have been very, very busy and I havent had the time to play Jedi Academy as much as I wanted to. However today i finally had the time to relax and jump into my favourite server until the game told me that I had been BANNED. I thought that this must have been some kind of new Jedi devilry as Thrawn would say, yet I tried multiple times and the game kept telling me ''banned''.
Should I be worried? Did something happen in my absence? Have I actually been banned and how so?

I really hope that one of you can answer me asap, because I really missed the game and playing with you all.

Sincerely,

Lord Rikan

Oops, sorry. It was, of course, Jato's fault - lucky I am here to pick up slack and fix his mistake. All good now.

You do have a highly dynamic IP, like it changes daily, so I guess sooner or later it could drift into a danger zone.

Your public IP, that provided by your ISP, changes nearly daily. This is not your doing but that of your ISP.

Naughty people who do stupid things with their computer over the internet will get there IP blacklisted. Also people who do not have security and get hijacked also have their IP misused by the hacker. So, sooner or later you will inherit an IP used by such people that has been blacklisted and thus on that day you use it you may find yourself blocked from certain website and such - it's possible this has happened in the past and you were just unaware of the issue.

You can see your WAN IP here: -
http://google.com/search?q=ip

In actual fact, the IP you made your second post from is different to that of your first - so even if I didn't lift the ban you still have moved on and no longer be banned.

This is nothing you should worry about, or can do anything about.
