Wut? Why?

Sadly, I have to say, you never really proved to us your ban should be lifted from when it was originally instated, and then reinstated when your IP changed.

I would think we gave you enough latitude for a person who had been banned for multiple reasons, but even now you still are drawing complaints from KR and visitors alike - so we had no choice but to reinstate your ban yet again.

But, as it was Falcon who banned you originally it is really her call whether it should be lifted.

List of grievances

1. Rogue had an encounter with Ghost of JK3 Past with the usage of the word "nagger", as in, person who nags. Rogue insisted the word was inappropriate, and silenced Ghost of JK3 Past for using it. I argued against Rogue's decision, saying that the word used in its context bears no inappropriateness whatsoever, and that if action is taken against usage of this word simply for looking like another word, it creates a slippery slope where we can punish based on something "almost" breaking a rule. Dangerous precedent, and I argued against KR for that.

2. R4gnar is the source of my spiciest interactions. I have repeatedly witnessed him being less than friendly to the common player. When I see this happening, I point it out to R4gnar and state that he is being a nasty person. We have gotten into a couple of arguments over public chat because of this, but I was never told to drop the conversation, and it never crossed over into flaming over inappropriate remarks. It was my judgment of his character.

3. Suggested that JAWA should dismantle their alliance with KR, as KR steals all their potential traffic and is consistently the most populated server.

4. Madon mistakenly identified me as S, Satan of Lava World and claimed I consistently lamed him.

These are the "negative" interactions I can recall. If you can direct me to a specific complaint of a KR member/normal player, I would be happy to acknowledge how I was wrong in that situation. I don't have any beef with normal players besides: (1) A not-serious joke of a feud with THC Melinko, (2) When Divine Cain connects I start ragging on the gameplay of base and how JA+ is superior. I don't think "complaints" in general compose a decent reason to ban me. I play a lot on this server, and granted, some people will inevitably dislike me even if I am not breaking rules or causing chaos. That's how human interactions work.

I have made many friends on this server. The overwhelming majority of normal players enjoy my presence on this server (vice versa as well). I have given tips to people on how to fight with their sabers/melee, I have had consistently pleasant interactions with a lot of KR's including but not limited to Uscari, Holywarrior, Frog, Sakito, and Kaliko Kitty. I have a very active presence on this server and I am respectful of all the players. I have not been silenced, slept, or slapped a single time while playing here.


If in spite of this it is decided that the ban should stay, it was a good time ya'll.

When we received reports from KR and non-KR alike describing your poor attitude towards them we referenced your current connection details with your previous and were able to identify you, which is why you were banned again. The previous ban was never lifted, which is ultimately the reason you cannot connect now. Funny enough, if you had been more pleasant we probably would've left you be!

I'd also like to state for the record that you've actually been banned twice before. The first was lifted, but after seeing you repeat the same behavior you were banned again. This was neither repealed nor lifted.

So, with that being said I think it goes without saying that it's not a coincidence we've ended up back in the Admin Complaints forum. If you want your ban lifted I ask two things of you:

1) Follow our rules. All of them.
2) Please stop antagonizing people on server.
I'm not asking this as an admin, I'm asking this as someone who enjoys playing Jedi Academy. You can dance around words here all you like, but you know that really you do enjoy to stir the pot. I have witnessed this behavior firsthand, and I can tell from how others speak of you I know I am not the only one. It's pretty obvious that antagonizing, provoking, trolling are all bad for our server's morale, and it is toxic to our community as a whole (which is one of the last communities in this game, mind you).

If you can do these two things I will be happy to lift your ban.

For purposes of clarification, what counts as antagonizing people? If I have a disagreement with someone, voice it in a manner that does not break rules, and this frustrates them to the point that they go on to complain about it in secrecy to you...how would I know I'm antagonizing them? I am bound to have disagreements with people, and I believe I should have the right to voice them, as long as I am not breaking rules. I should also have the right to criticize behavior I deem unfair or wrong to others (again, as long as I stay within the rules). I was never silenced or told by an admin to drop a conversation as Blaboobee so I really wouldn't have a clue. With all due respect, if an accusation flies in your direction concerning me in the future, please bring it to my attention along with a screenshot of the log or event that the complainee is discussing so I do have a clue. None have been provided for these recent accusations.

I'm not asking to have a debate, but to make sure I am doing what you request of me. A wide, wide range of behavior can be interpreted by someone who dislikes me as having "the intention to provoke", which in turn may lead to an unintentional violation of your second condition.

Hey mate, allow me to try to field this one. Bear in mind this isn't real life, not even an imitation of.

It is game, Games have rules which are be observed. In chess you must move the piece you touched. In tennis if touch the net, or cross the half-way line in any way you lose the point. Imagine applying that to chess: e4-e5 : your pawn crossed the half way line, you lose. In tennis, you touched that ball first, you must serve with it. Now try to apply that to real-life, say, shopping: you touched that person's trolley, now you have to take it.

I strongly disagree with your philosophy on fun, but it is your server, and I acknowledge that I must follow your rules.

So, if I'm understanding correctly: I should not expect a ban unless I am warned and defy that warning. This is behavior I have been complying with. I don't want to get banned because a log reveals I was having a political discussion with someone, or because I was having friendly banter with someone.

As I stated in my last reply, if I do display problem behavior, please supply evidence of it to me so I have a more firm understanding. None of this was ever done: Not a single log, screenshot, warning, admin punishment, conversation with me...and then boom ban.

I'm asking for clarification, straight and simple. My questions were not difficult. I'm not trying to play games or sabotage this conversation. Like I said, I gladly agree with your two conditions, but have yet to be clarified on what "antagonizing" people entails. It is not ridiculous, at all, to ask for clarification when neither you or Jawfin have specified what behavior of mine it is that pushed me over into ban territory. Admins on the server also couldn't identify it, to the point that I was never warned or punished. Is telling Rogue I disagree with an admin decision antagonizing? I would say no, as it doesn't break rules AND I wasn't told to drop it, BUT YOU GUYS MAY HAVE DECIDED OTHERWISE.

Falcon, I hope you understand my need to ask questions. We're talking about a server that decided use of the words "thighs", even in a non-sexual context, is in inappropriate and therefore punishable. Jesus Christ, I'm not a walking troll machine.

It seems you've pidgeon-holed me into a position where even asking for information so I can properly follow your rules and avoid a ban is classified as "trolling". With this in mind, it seems a ban is inevitable.

Since I was involved in this discussion as "the bad guy", I just want to clarify this, if you please.

I noticed lately that my own way to talk might bother some people... In fact, there's a HUGE difference between what I say (or tend to say) and how people actually get it. It seems like I express myself badly and I sincerely APOLOGIZE about that. I'm actually working on it, because I don't like to seem bad with people when I don't even mean it!

That being said, Blaboobee, last time we were online at the same time, you were straight to attack me and I engaged myself in a big useless arguement in public about that.. I apologize about that too, I should have talked to you and make myself clear about my intentions.. Still, you kept attacking me and kept saying I was MAD because I do ":P" (smileys) when I talk.. Fact is: I always make smileys when chatting, I started writing that way 17 years ago and it's hard to change it... It doesn't mean I'm mad in any way and I won't get mad about a game, it's not my way to be at all.

You also keep saying I act how I act because I'm admin... Which isn't true at all.. Have I even used any admin command on you? Being an admin in a simple GAME doesn't make me feel like I'm any powerful, I decided to take the admin class of KR to help on the server... Help other players to keep having fun while there are lamers/troublemakers on the server, that's the only reason.. I don't need any admin power to talk with other players.

Now, I sincerely hope you understand that I don't mean to be bad to you or anyone else and we can put the past aside. On my side, I'll work on expressing myself better so I don't get people to think I'm being mean to them.

Thanks for the feedback, R4gnar. We might have been caught in up in the publicity of the heated exchange and consequently not been able to see eye to eye. I played a role in that as well, so I apologize. I started calling you mad because you kept referring to me as a troll and stuff, but whatever. S'all good.
