20 Years and No Peace
Part One

"But we must create a New Republic in order to restore peace!" A diplomat shouted in disgust. It's been twenty years. The last remnants of the Galactic Empire have been eradicated. Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Lando Calrissian, Han Solo, Chewbacca, General Ackbar, and many other war heroes from the civil war have called together an assembly on the rebuilt planet Alderaan, to try to compromise on how the galaxy will be maintained. Should a new republic be re-instated? Or should there only be a senate. Should there only be private colonies?

Arguments had broken out even before the meeting started on the Landing Pads, Luke had assured the arguing diplomats and representatives that every topic will be discussed, and comprised in the meeting. This did little to settle them, for they are anxious to see how the rest of the Galaxy will be run.

Between the Fall of the Empire, and this diplomatic meeting, Luke Skywalker had gone in search of any surviving Jedi. In his search he found only a handful of Jedi's. Among these were two very powerful Jedi that had previously been a part of the council on Coruscant. They were Julhan Carissi, and his apprentice Aiden Havok.

Aiden was still a Jedi Knight, but he had been on the council because of his ability to lower the aggressiveness of his adversaries. The two young Jedi had been assigned guard duty to this meeting, set to defend against any "Unexpected Guests". They were not alone though. Several Diplomats, and representatives had body guard escortments, who were also set to protect this important meeting.

Not even an hour into the meeting, several private cruisers, with strange markings had appeared inside the planets atmosphere. "Looks like we've got company master," Aiden quarried. "Indeed we do..." Replied Julhan.

The people turned out to be Mandalorians. Julhan added “I wonder if the Mandalorians are here on peaceful business or here to start a fight and destroy the chance of there ever being peace throughout the galaxy." Julhan walks up to the mandalorians to see if they have permission to be here as diplomats or just here to watch. Julhan asks them. " Mandalorians what are you doing here? are you watching or will you be participating as diplomats?" The mandalorians replied that they were here as diplomats to see what would happen to the galaxy.
Aiden whispers "Try not to be so aggressive master." He then tries to read the Mandalorians mind, but is interrupted by Julhan, "Don't waste your energy, there immune to that."
"Sorry master, I’ll try to remember these things." Aiden replied. Aiden was amazed that these soldiers could move in these power suits.

Aiden noticed they had "concealed weapons", and whisperd to his master "I thought weapons weren't allowed in the meeting.." His master informed him "These are mandalorians. They don't go anywhere without Weapons. But don't worry, they won't harm anyone, there wouldn't be honor in it. Mandalorians are all about honor."

Aiden and Julhan went back to patrolling the outside of the circular building.
After everyone had arrived at the meeting the arguments got worse. Julhan yelled" QUIET THE MEETING IS STARTING" and he let Luke start the meeting. Luke said to the diplomats " What shall we do to restore peace within this galaxy once more. Will we make a new Republic or will we let all the planets govern themselves." after Luke had said this the room once again filled with noise and this time it was aiden who quieted them down.....

"SIIIILEEEEENCE!" Aiden Yelled, he had used the force to amplify his vocal chords. His voice echoed inside the heads of the Representatives and Diplomats. They all stared in aw. "There you go master Luke" Said Aiden with a smirk. Luke Continued to Lecture the Representatives/Diplomats about there current situation. If the galaxy remains unorganized, they are allowing there enemy (whoever that might be) to get a head start on there plans. They must settle on either a New Republic, a simple Alliance, a Senate, a council of high powers, or separate governments.

Hours had past. And they had finally agreed to re-create a galactic senate. But, there would be no Republic. Even though the Old Republic faired for over 20,000 years, in the end, corruption was allowed to take place. With a senate, everyone has equal powers, there-fore no one has control over another. The meeting was adjourned, and the Diplomats and Representatives returned to there home planets. Luke, Julhan, Aiden, and a handful of other Jedi had gathered together in the remains of the Jedi Council hall. Julhan, being the wisest, started off the gathering of Jedi.

Julhan was trying to come up with a way to restore the jedi and this was the only thing he could come up with " ok we must go through the galaxy for a few weeks and try to find some people who have the potential to become jedi" the handful of jedi left agreed with Julhan and they set out to search for force sensatives. Aiden went with his master Julhan to the planet Nal' Hutta.

--------------------------------------

Darth Vengonce sat in his private chambers and thought..."Disgusting worms... squirming in the surplus of "The Force" Coruscant, but if they only knew the power of what the Dark Side has to offer! *looks up with a smirk* I will show them."
He slowly stood up and walked over to his 'Trophy Case' of lightsabers... he looked upon the sabers of the Old Republic," Maul, Sidious, Dooku, Vader... all pathetic... SERVANT COME! Go... get another... I want Jedi sabers!" He then sat down again and meditated more... watching the quivering trooper run off to assemble a fleet...

--------------------------------------

"Master! Master!" Aiden yells frantically, panting. "What is it young apprentice?" Replied Julhan. "I heard news from a few bounty hunters that a Sith Lord has survived all this time! He has been known for about 200 years, he was presumed dead, but he was just in hiding." Aiden managed to spit out those words before almost passing out. "That can't be true... Are you sure Aiden?" "Yes master..." Aiden Replied. "We must inform Master Luke immediately!"

Julhan and his young apprentice had been searching for lost Jedi all over Nal' hutta, but with no prevail. After hearing the news of the awakening sith lord, they set off to Kashyyk, the Bookie Home world, where Luke and a small party of three Jedi were searching for any surviving Members of the Order. After the entire situation was evaluated, the party of Jedi had decided to gather the senate once again on Alderaan to see what course of action should be taken, to search for, and capture, or kill this sith lord.

Jedi Secretary Sophie calls Aiden to the desk.

"Someone by the name of Haktuiki is here to see you," said Sophie.
"He is requesting a meeting with the Jedi Council immediately."
"Send him in," said Aiden.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~LATER AT THE MEETING~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Haktuiki has offered to hunt down this Sith Lord...for a price of course.
"I am prepared to do anything necessary to eliminate this threat," Haktuiki said.
"As you know, I once applied for the Jedi, but they turned me down because of my species"
"Regardless of all of this, I still love the Jedi Order and will do anything to fight for it."
"And you know me by reputation. You know I am more than capable to do this...for a price."
Yes, you are quite... Reputable... But, I don't know if we could risk it. The power of the Dark Side is extremely hard to resist. Especially to one without training. I am very sorry but..." Aiden was cut-off by Luke, "We need his help..."
"Indeed we do..." Replied Aiden. "But we don't need to kill him. Right now I just need, information. Could you do this?"
"I don't usually do information. Its not my specialty," said Haktuiki.
"But in your case I will make an exception. Regardless of my talent for hunting, I will use my talent to find him, track him down, and gather information as much as I can."
Haktuiki stands up, looking around the room peacefully.
"I will do it, for a price. And I will give up Bounty Hunting for this Jedi Order."
"After this meeting I will service only the Jedi Order."
"And I do wish to speak with Julhan about another matter."
"But for right now, what say you?"
"Alright... but mind your place. Your not into the order yet. I must discuss this with the Full council present. There will be a rather large bounty for you. You will receive 25 percent of it now, and the rest upon completion of your Reconnaissance. Thank you."
"Alright well I’ll leave you two alone."
"Master, I’ll be in the grove meditating if you need me."
Julhan said "That is good Aiden. well let me first congratulate you into the order. So why do u want to speak to me in private? Is it of great importance? Just a request, or something else entirely different? For we must hurry and see what we can find out about this new 'Sith Lord'."
--------------------------------------
A Sith fleet was slowly heading towards the planet of Alderaan... Vengonce was looking down at the blue planet from the command deck of the ship....
"Sir we are approaching the planet now sir..." said a servant
"Is the Enclave in Range yet?" he asked
"Not yet sir, I’ll order the gunners to fire as soon as it is in ran-"
"No! I will go down personally... in shadow I will remain... blockade the planet until I return... let no one pass this fleet..."
His shuttle was personally flown down by Vengonce himself in his black robes only his yellow eyes showed out of the darkness covering his face... walking down a street until he found the Enclave... looking up on it ominously...
--------------------------------------
"Master!!!" Haktuiki suddenly jumps, feeling his head.
"I feel a presence in the force. Its growing stronger!"
"I can feel it too," said Julhan.
Haktuiki suddenly fell to the floor, clutching his forehead as if it was on fire.
"It's too close. I can feel it!" he gasped.
He started rolling around like a madman.
"NO! NO! YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!!! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!! ARGH!!" he screamed. <-----------hint for Peace, Part 2.
Silo looked over and rushed to Hatuiki's side and then stood pulled out his saber and walked outside and stared strait into Vengonce yellow eyes and then turned on his saber... walked slowly down the steps and waited for him to attack, Vengonce threw off his robe to reveal his Dark Jedi tunic and Black hair, he ran at Silo and ignited his saber... The two clashed with extreme power flying and jumping around swiftly blocking each others sabers... suddenly Vengonce ended the duel with a swift punch to the face that floored Silo...
Julhan says "Haktuiki you alright? Haktuiki what’s wrong? *shakes him out of it* Get a grip Haktuiki, we cant lose you now we need you."
--------------------------------------
Vengonce slowly continued to walk up the steps into the Enclave... he ignited his saber and walked slowly in... glared at all in the temple before him...many ran at him he struck each of them down with ease..."YOU WORMS ARE NO MATCH FOR THE DARK SIDE!!!" he yelled
"AH!" Aiden screamed. He felt a major disturbance in the force. He knew something was wrong.
He jumped up, and headed to the enclaves main entrance.
When he arrived, he saw one single Dark Jedi striking down members of his order.
He then saw dozens of Dark Jedi pouring through the main entrance doors into the Great Hall.
Aiden threw off his ribbed jacket. Pulled out both of his lightsabers. Hooked them together and whispered "...... It's on ......."
~MEANWHILE~
Haktuiki, who was laying on the floor of the meeting room, open his eyes.
"What happened?" he asked.
"No," he paused. "What is happening?"
"I don't know but I think we should go and find out. They both hurry to the great hall. “Oh no the sith... they're attacking. We must help for I fear we may lose this battle."
They both pull out their sabers and charge into the battle.
Haktuiki runs and jumps into the battle.
The battle is fierce, but nothing he has ever handled before.
Vengonce moves quick, with feeling, but he puts too much aggression into his moves. Haktuiki parries easily.
Julhan easily dodges and kills many of the sith. The battle is long and hard and seems to have no end the sith just keep coming and coming and soon he is nearing the edges of his strength.
Haktuiki is thrown to the wall. He staggers and falls onto the floor.
He slices the Sith's leg who is attacking him. He falls to the ground.
Haktuiki scrambles to his feet and runs after Vengonce.
The battle isn’t going so well. Aiden and Julhan seem like they can barely stand.
Haktuiki jumps into the battle.
He swings left: blocked. Right: blocked.
Suddenly Vengonce kicks aside Juhlan and force throws Aiden.
Haktuiki took advantage of that sudden defenseless moment.
He swings at Vengonce, hoping to disable his arms, but misses and hits the lightsaber.
The lightsaber explodes into metal fragments. Vengonce took his crackling hilt and seared Haktuiki’s face with it.
"AHHHHH!!!!" he screamed.
Out of a fit of rage, he takes the spiked hilt of his own saber and swings at Vengonce face.
Vengonce screamed and held the side of his face, which was dripping with blood.
He then looked back and smirked and shot Hatuiki through with force lightning sending the poor little Jawa across the room, "Hokey weapons are for the weak! I have the force!" then turning to Julhan and doing the same thing sends him flying...
Aiden was force thrown to the wall, dropping his lightsaber.
And for a few seconds he couldn't see, hear, or feel anything.
A few Sith around him had taken that opportunity to slam there lightsaber hilts into his stomach.
He fell to his knees.
He noticed his lightsaber a few yards away, force pulled, and gripped the hilt so tight, his knuckles turned white.
He jumped up, slashed at the three Sith attackers, all of the swings were blocked.
Aiden was beyond exhaustion. But managed to strike down two of the Sith before the other retreated.
Aiden noticed Julhan struggling to his feet a couple yards away. And noticed his Jawa friend was almost unconscious..
He glanced at Darth Vengonce noticing his lightsaber was disabled. He charged, seizing the opportunity.
But just before Aiden reached him, Vengonce had already pulled out another Sabre.
They saber locked. This was a true test of strength.
But Aiden was already exhausted from being thrashed about. And he could taste the blood in his mouth.
He had to back off. Aiden in the middle of the saber-lock, unhooked his lightsabers, and began to fight with the twin sabers instead of a double-hilted saber.
This proved more useful, allowing him to fend Vengonce off a little longer.
But soon a few other Sith joined in.
"Uhm... A LITTLE HELP PLEASE?!?!??!?" Aiden screamed frantically.
Haktuiki struggled to his feet. He ran to help Aiden, but Vengonce threw another bolt of lighting at him.
He blocked it, and the bolt went striking off the walls.
But that 3 second distraction was all Vengonce needed. He swung his saber and barely just sliced across Haktuiki's stomach.
He fell once again, but he could not let the pain get to him. A friend was in trouble.
Vengonce sent a bolt of lightning towards Aiden, but Haktuiki jumped and force pushed Aiden out of the way.
Triumphant, Haktuiki turned around and saw the big bolt of lightning an inch from him.
BANG! There was a loud noise, and he went pelting across the hallway. He crashed to the floor. He could feel blood gushing from my stomach, and Haktuiki held it as hard as he could.
He lay there gasping for a moment, then got up and re-entered the fight...
Vengonce blocked each coming saber killing each wielder..."This is a waste of my time...” He takes out his comlink. “ Cassious... I await your arrival!" then from the other side of the comlink the group heard in and awesome Mandalorian accent, "Yes, I’ll be right theah." a seismic charge was heard and seconds later the whole top of the temple was gone! Cassious jumped into the lobby area where this whole fiasco was being held took out a few blasters and had at it, "ITS CASSIOUS FETT! RUN FOR IT!" yelled one Jedi, as Cassious mowed down jedi like Wookies on Knyraths.
It was a grassy meadow. With tall ancient pillars. A soft wind constantly blew across the flower beds. In the middle of this grove sat Aiden. Trying to finish constructing his first lightsaber, the traditional way, by using the force. A couple hours into the ritual, he heard a satisfying 'click'. And stood. Holding the hilt of the saber. Switched it on. And began twirling it around.
"Simple" He muttered.
Then he heard a loud scream from behind him and... Awoke from his dreamlike state. He had been unconscious for a few moments on the ground. Dreaming of constructing his first lightsaber. He thought about wanting to stay in the dream for a little longer. But soon stifled his thoughts. He looked around for his lightsabers. Found one. Grabbed it. And got up.
His vision was red. There was blood in his eyes. He took a quick assessment of the field. He saw many dead Jedi, and Sith alike. He could hardly remember the sequence in which these events happened. It was all a blurred lightsaber Duel at this point in time. He did recall his Jawa friend saving his life. He was very grateful. But he was no where in sight. But Aiden couldn't totally focus on this at this time.
Just then Aiden realized what was happening. They had spent one entire year searching for Jedi. Aiden and Julhan found at least 50 members alone. And Luke and his team found twice as much. But the sith had been preparing for no one knows how long. "We're not going to win this battle..." He thought. But his inner-self took over and said "Don't give up yet."
Aiden heard a large explosion, and saw falling rocks and debris. The entire roof of the Enclave was blown off. "Hoooolyyy shit." Aiden thought.
When Julhan got back up he charged back into the battle and since he was so exhausted he tried not to attack the more powerful of the group. he had no trouble, until one of the stronger sith tried to sneak up on Julhan but he struck them down even though he had gotten in a lucky hit and knocked him unconscious.
Haktuiki ran over to Julhan.
"Are you alright master?"
Thinking that he was dead, he slowly turned and stared up at the menacing battle.
"Rest in piece, my master. May the force be with you," said Haktuiki, still not realizing he wasn't dead.
Haktuiki re-entered the battle, trying not to let sadness and anger consume him.
He swung left: Cut through a Sith's arm. He swung right: Cut the top of a Sith's head off.
He kicked a one nasty hooded Sith and he staggered. For a moment I thought he was going to jump and retaliate, but instead he fell out the window of one of the chambers.
Aiden noticed out of the roof opening, a tall man in a Mandalorian type armor came into the Frey with a jetpack, wielding two Blaster Pistols.
Aiden began to make his way towards this "Mandalorian".
Julhan was finally awakened by the battle raging on around him . he got back up and started killing as many Sith as he could because he was enraged about what happened to him during the fight. The Sith didn’t seem as invincible as they did before. they fought with less vigor as before and there seemed to be less in the battle. He soon lost track of how many had died, for both the Sith and the jedi, and started to notice that Aiden was fighting the mandalorian, he tried to get there as soon as he could but there was no way around the Sith that kept attacking him. since he was so exhausted he couldn’t get through. he just had to hope that Aiden would defeat him, and he also had to worry about his own fights.
Haktuiki lost count of the Sith. They were everywhere. Red sabers blazed all around him.
He payed no attention to what anyone else was doing. As far as he was concerned, he was alone. Julhan was dead and Aiden was nowhere to be seen either.
He just fought. And fought. He fought until the point where it wasn't considered fighting anymore. More like swinging randomly like a madman.
There was a moment when he was back to back with someone else. He turned and grabbed him by the throat, prepared to make the kill.
...
Haktuiki was shocked. "JULHAN??!!!"
"Yeah?" Julhan answered.
"Your alive!!!"
But suddenly through the commotion, there was black. And everything stopped.
"Come HERE you little FREAK!" Aiden screamed at the Mandalorian.
The Mandalorians tactics seemed to be 'Shoot at Aiden. Have him follow. Lure him into a group of Sith. Watch him fight. Repeat"
Aiden never could get within jumping range of the Mandalorian. He had been growing tired of this. It's better that the Mandalorian shoot at Aiden, than his fellow unsuspecting Jedi.
Aiden finally decided to try one last jump at the mandalorian. He ended up just barely striking the fuel pod of the JetPack.
Down went the Mandalorian.
But he fell on the Sith side of the battle, allowing him to retreat.
Aiden wasn't sure if he was to return later into the battle. But he was glad that game was over.
He went to try to find his other lightsaber. He isn't comfortable fighting with a single hilt.
Suddenly a blaster bolt hit Aiden and he went down in burning pain, "Heh, I’ve suffered your kind before... nothing that big..." Cassious said through the voice amplifier in his helmet... "Quite a bounty on Jedi these days," he said shooting a Jedi injured on the ground, walking up and grabbing his saber... "This job is finished I’m outa here..." he said walking away.
Through the mass of bodies flying through the air and the swirling field of red sabers, Saix could see the faint outline of his master. He ran to his master. They needed to retreat now, this killing spree had gone way too far.
The Jedi didn’t seem to stop coming at him. Another one attempted to charge at him at full speed, but simply missed Saix and ended up crashing into the wall. (>.>)
"Master!" he yelled "We must retreat, the damage done here is enough..."
"Maybe.... come we shall return.. come my new apprentice..." said Darth Vengonce walking the other way out of the door.... *takes out a com link* Destroy this horrendous place before anymore of our men our killed..." he said to the Destroyer above them.... but it had been destroyed by Admiral Ackbar's fleet!
Never the less he took his new apprentice to his shuttle and they were off! "You’ve proved yourself beyond belief my new apprentice... henceforth you will be known as Darth Seer... we must find the base before the Rebels can trace us.
Haktuiki opened his eyes.
Everything was blurry. He could not see properly. He choked and looked up. He could taste dried blood in the back of his throat. His legs and head were stiff. He felt around. He could feel blood all around him.
But this was nothing compared to what he heard. Screaming and crying.
He sat up painfully, clutching his blood soaked stomach. He choked again and stood up. His vision was coming back to him. He looked around.
Everywhere. Bodies. Blood. Severed limbs. Injured. He wanted nothing more to get away from this place.
He looked around for Aiden. Nowhere to be seen. He looked for Julhan. Again, nowhere.
By the looks of it, there were no live Sith left. It seems that they had won a very impossible victory, or the remaining Sith retreated.
He began the journey. The journey to rally up live Jedi. To help wounded. To save the Jedi Order.
Silo walked up to Hatuiki and knelt down next to him... "Not many survivors... they’ve won... they’ve killed so many... in such a little period of time... My name is Silo Bahn and You’ve shown amazing bravery here... we would like for you to be a part of the Jedi order. Going toe to toe with a Sith was something that only three of us were brave enough to do... the rest died... I am tired tend to the rest of the survivors... I must go and rest on what I’ve learned." he said standing and walking away limping.
When Julhan had found Hatuiki he was surprised to see him alive, he thought he had died in the battle. He asked Hatuiki if he was alright and he replied that yes he was ok. Julhan was in shock that they hadn't lost this battle, although many were dead and wounded, they were safe for now. now Julhan had to find the remaining jedi and see what else he had to do.
"Julhan, I’ll have to get some new Jedi Masters... to replace the ones that have fallen... will you represent the fallen in a funeral of all of them? We need to burn these bodies ceremonially."
Silo said placing his hand on Julhan's shoulder....
"I would be honored to be a part of this Jedi Order," replied Haktuiki.
"But there is no time for this now. I must carry on with the wounded."
He walked away sadly, holding supplies.
The battle was over, but the pain and damage was done. No one will ever forget about this battle. No one will ever forgot of the pain was endured on this galaxy.
20 years, and no peace...
Cold...
That was Aiden's first thought. How cold he was. His arms, legs, hands, feet, all numb.
He was laying on his stomach. Face smashed into the grey marble floor.
His vision was still blurred with hints of red. He had the worst headache he had ever felt.
Any sort of movement was hell for him. It took all of his strength to pull himself up to a nearby corner, and just sit with his back to the wall. It wasn't till' then, did he look around.
Look around to see the sad sight. All that he had worked on. The young men, that dedicated themselfs to this very order, the young men that deserted there families, friends, spouses, and children, all to go to war with an enemy, so powerful, that in one swift blow, could cripple there entire order. Everything they had worked for. Decimated.
Aiden came to the point where he blamed himself for everything that had happened.
Maybe if he hadn't have followed Luke to create a new order, this wouldn't of happened.
Maybe if he convinced his master not to follow Luke, this wouldn't have happened.
If we would have just excepted defeat, and gave up on the Jedi Code, the Sith might not have done so much damage.
Maybe if we didn't provoke the Sith, by trying to re-create an already dead order, all of these innocent men would not have fallen in battle.
Aiden was crying by this point. But even to do this, took all of his strength.
He examined himself. His nails were red, he gripped his saber hilt so tight, blood had seeped into his nails. He had carbon scoring on the back of his left shoulder, from the blaster bolt he suffered from the Mandalorian. Sabre burns covered his entire body. His customary Jedi Robes were scorched, tattered, and torn.
He thought about everything. He apologized a thousand times over to all of the dead Jedi, and their families.
Aiden will never be the same. He will never forgive himself.
In the hours Aiden spent gathering his strength.
Aiden got up, holding his right shoulder, bleeding from several open wounds, hung his head, and started to walk.
He walked to the main entrance, stopped, turned his head back, and whispered...
"Goodbye..."
To Be Continued...
20 Years, and No Peace
Part Two
Haktuiki stepped into the room silently, trembling at the prospect of meeting the Jedi Council face to face.
"Thank you for coming, Haktuiki," said Julhan. "You were summoned here today-"
Haktuiki lost focus a bit, thinking about the present, future, and most of all, the past. He could not forget what he had done to earn this trip to the Jedi Council. His attention was rattled when he heard Julhan say:
"We hereby award you for your bravery. Accept this, as a token of our gratitude."
Haktuiki stepped forward. Master Kunaki handed Julhan a small, rectangular box. Julhan took it and stretched his arm out toward Haktuiki.
Slowly, Haktuiki extended his arm and carefully took it. He opened it.
Inside was the most beautiful lightsaber he had ever seen. It was gleaming with polish. The sun in the Council chamber seemed to reflect off of it. Red stripes grazed the outside. At the bottom a black coating covered the area and small grooves were laid inside the handle.
"You may ignite it," said Julhan.
Haktuiki lit it. It glowed green, a high blaze.
"Thank you," said Haktuiki.
"No," said Julhan. "Thank you."
"You have showed bravery beyond anything we have ever seen in a young Jedi." Julhan continued. "Accept this as a token of honor, a token of bravery. Both which you have shown during these last weeks."
"May the force be with you," said Julhan, and the Jedi Council bowed.
Haktuiki bowed his head, and stepped out of the door.
But when he did so, he saw something he had not expected. Something he was looking for weeks. He was face to face with a happy and beaming-
"AIDEN!" Haktuiki cried.
"Congratulations, Mr. Jedi," Aiden replied.
"Thank you. But what are you doing here?" asked Haktuiki. "I thought you had been assigned a mission to rally up the lost jedi."
"That’s correct. And I’ve finished." said Aiden.
"How many?" Haktuiki asked, cautiously.
Aiden hung his head. "I found a few... Not many."
Haktuiki re-assured Aiden, "Don't worry, there will be more to find."
Aiden still couldn't forgive himself for what had happened. Deep inside he doesn't think he should be searching for more Jedi. The Jedi Order is dead. There aren't many force sensitive races left. Before the Sith attacked, about 300 Jedi's populated the Enclave. Now 37 remain. Just a week before they had begun to burn the two-hundred-and-sixty-three dead Jedi. The largest number of Jedi ever ceremonially burned since Code 66 was unleashed during the Clone Wars.
Aiden found his way to the great hall, In search of his second lightsaber. About ten minutes into his search Julhan ran up, and handed the polished saber to Aiden.
"Why so shiny?" Aiden asked.
"It was... Covered in blood." Julhan informed Aiden.
"Thank you." Aiden replied, and began to walk away.
"Oh and Aiden, the council would like to see you." Julhan stopped to tell Aiden.
"Why?"
"They want to make you a master." Julhan implored.
"Really? Why?" Aiden asked.
"You'll see," Julhan smirked.
Haktuiki walked in. He came up to Aiden and asked, "Aiden, you got a moment?"
"Plenty, as a matter of fact," Aiden replied.
They sat down in the courtyard outside the Temple.
"So what’s on your mind, my Jawa friend?" Aiden said.
"It's about the day that I had that panic attack on the floor of the meeting," said Haktuiki.
"Yes, how could I forget. What’s up?" Aiden asked.
"I believe that that panic attack was caused by an extreme conflict with the force," Haktuiki said. "The only thing that can trigger something like that is Temporal Residue."
"Wait a minute," Aiden said, thinking. "Temporal...temporal..."
"You mean time travel?!"
"Yes," Haktuiki said. "I believe the time line has been tampered with somehow...more than once."
"But the theory of time travel has been approached and disapproved...deemed theoretically impossible," Aiden said.
"It's just, ever since that day, something about the battle that took place just seemed very wrong...like it was somehow out of place with the time line," Haktuiki told Aiden.
"So...what your saying is..." said Aiden. "What you were experiencing...actually happened?"
"It's possible," Haktuiki said.
"All this talk about temporal mechanics is giving me a headache..." said Aiden. "I better go see the Council before it gets worse."
Haktuiki laughed and Aiden left for the Council Chambers.
~~LATER~~
Aiden paid the council a visit. To his surprise they made him a master. He was the youngest master ever appointed onto the council. 19 years old.
Aiden took a walk around the grove, found a cool spot, an meditated. There was a reason he didn't find any Jedi...
Haktuiki walked the corridors of the Enclave thinking. Thinking about this whole puzzle. It just didn't make since...none of it. The Sith have been extinct for so long...
"I found a few... Not many..."
How many had been found? Was he being lied to? Or was Aiden hiding things from him?
He went into the Great Hall and sat down at one of the 18 oval tables surrounding the room.
He looked around. The room was almost empty. He knew that the last time he had been there it had been occupied by at least 300 people.
He sighed. "I found a few... Not many..." Those words echoed in his head for a bit, then he shook it.
He ordered his food and decided to go to the courtyard, which was empty.
He sat down, eating his bowl of mush.
Tonight was the 4th night of the burnings. He decided he would attend. He had been avoiding them all week. He didn't like such depressing places, where people were crying and sobbing. It gave him the creeps.
But that night he walked the path down to the forest field in which they were held. He went to pay respects to his friend Ojeh, who had died during the battle...
The screams of crippled and de-limbed Jedi filled Aidens head. Red sabers everywhere. With a hint of Blue, Green, Orange here and there. Exhausted.
Eyes Blurry.
Hands Numb.
Teeth gritted.
Anger flowing.
Desperation kicking in.
It wasn't a duel anymore. It was jumping around, flailing, yelling... no... screaming for help, it was a battle.
Aiden had gone through, step by step, he went through the battle during his meditation.
But he decided to not focus on that now. When the council sent him out to find more Jedi, he told them he would, but secretly refused. He would not allow himself to tear these men and woman away from there families to be killed. He will not do it. Never again...
Never...
"Aiden... Aiden WAKE UP!" echoed Silo's voice in Aidens head...
"Stay away!" he yelled as his eyes open and his saber ignited in front of Silo's neck.
"Bad Dreams?" asked Silo unintimidated. Aiden explained it to him in Silo's chambers... "Hmmm, seeing the past? Interesting... not much experience with that, all of that I assume was brought upon by the deaths you felt? It scarred you, all of those deaths are your failures in life... they left a mark... an echo of all things that is all that dream was... an echo... on that day you saw the end of the force... a wound... in the light side. You died that day... not physically but in the force."
~~LATER~~
Silo noticed Hatuiki sitting alone in the Great Hall, he walked up and sat next to him, "I remember a time when I sat here with many Jedi, thousands... friends, teachers, family even. Now nothing. You feel the echo? Like the thousand that once sat here, have gone from us? They give us strength... no need to mourn their loss, Death is a natural part of life, do not mourn or miss the ones who go into the forces eternal light."
Haktuiki laughed. "I'm sure what you just said, but I'm sure that your right."
"Thank you Master." He stood up and left Silo, who had a worried expression on his face.
---------------
On the way to the 4th burning, he came across 3 teenager cadets.
"Where ya going, pest?" said a one of them.
"I beg your pardon," said Haktuiki.
"You deaf, rodent? I said where are you going you dirty pest!" said the cadet.
"Are you looking for a fight?" said Haktuiki angrily.
"No," said the teen. "I'm looking for pest control."
"Bring out the bug repellent!" said another of them.
"Disgusting creature," said another.
"Vermin of the galaxy," said the first one, starting for the path.
They walked away, shaking their heads. Haktuiki gnawed at his lightsaber angrily. He wanted to whip it out and dismember them into nano-dust, but he must control his anger. He bit his lip, and gulped.
"One day I'm gonna whip out a saber and cut all them 'lil hootahs down," Haktuiki heard one of the teenagers mutter.
(Hootah is an extremely rude, offensive, and racist word to describe jawas)
"ARGH!" gagged the teenager.
He was thrown 20 feet into the air and crashed into one of the tree trunks. The other two cadets took out their lightsabers and jumped at Haktuiki.
Haktuiki began swinging furiously. He dodged them easily. They were just cadets, after all.
He was careful not to do any damage, but his anger swelled at him. It was like knifes boiling in the pit of his stomach.
He force pushed the two of them, and out of the chaos the first one jumped at him. Haktuiki dodged and parried. This one was a little more skilled with the force than the others.
He dodged an upper attack, and instinctively, his lightsaber went swinging horizontal, cutting through the cadets elbow.
"AHHHHH!!!" he screamed in pain. There was a thud as his smoking arm, severed at the elbow, came crashing to the forest floor.
Haktuiki's stomach sank. "What have I done?" he thought to himself.
He stared at the scene. The teenager on the ground, holding a bloody stump that used to be his arm...and the other cadets standing around, watching fearfully.
Haktuiki took the teen, and lifted him onto his shoulders. He was extremely hard to carry, due to the Jawas size. But he tried his best.
He made it to the medical bay, where the teen was bandaged up.
Silo stormed into the room.
"Haktuiki! What have you done?!" Silo raged, igniting his saber. "Give me your weapon."
Haktuiki handed over his brand new saber. Silo sliced it in half.
Aiden appeared from the corner of the room.
"Racism... How could we have let someone of your caliber get into the Jedi Order?" he said to the armless boy.
He turned to Silo. "If I thought correctly, we have done extensive research on each individual let into this order."
"Correction Aiden," said Silo. "You were the one supposed to recruit, and research each member."
"I did just as you asked, Master," said Aiden.
"Then how could we have overlooked this?" Silo said.
"I must have -" Aiden began.
"Save it Aiden," Silo cut Aiden off. "For right now, we have more pressing matters to-"
He broke off, turning around to Haktuiki. He was gone.
~~MEANWHILE~~
As everyone was fighting, Haktuiki had slipped away.
He found himself running to the Ship Hanger. He didn't want to go in just yet...
He sat down on the steps outside the Hanger.
Silo had broken his lightsaber. Haktuiki had known what was to become of this. He would be expelled from the Order...
Something stirred ahead of him. Haktuiki looked up. He heard something hit the cool, metal ground.
"Dammit," said a voice.
Haktuiki looked up cautiously. He looked around, then crept behind a dustbin.
Suddenly a green saber blazed out of nowhere right in front of him.
He recognized the man. It was one of the teenagers that had managed to escape the terrible scene.
"What are you doing here, hootah," said the cadet. Haktuiki realized his voice shook with fear.
Haktuiki was not angry...at him or what he had called him. By the looks of it he had come here just to get away and think just as Haktuiki.
"The question is," said Haktuiki. "What are YOU doing here?"
"Errr," the cadet paused. "I'm leaving. And I'm not coming back."
"Why?"
"Because," said the cadet angrily. "The Jedi Order has fallen once again. 300 Jedi have been killed in the last two weeks. And YOU know Master Luke will expel me for this."
Haktuiki sighed. "So what’s the plan? Huh?" said Haktuiki. "Your gonna steal a ship. Run away. Never come back?"
The cadet held the saber more closely to Haktuiki's throat, gripping the hilt quite strongly.
"That's exactly what I'm doing," said the cadet.
"What’s your name?" asked Haktuiki calmly.
"Li-Li-Linear," he stuttered fearfully.
"Linear," said Haktuiki. "Go home."
~~MEANWHILE~~
Julhan got up, and walked around the compound, he would just have to think while doing his duties. There was so much more work in rebuilding the jedi order, again. Julhan had to find people who would join the cause of the jedi, all the while taking on the duties of those who died. Julhan barely had time to think anymore, he hoped the sith wouldn’t attack again, there would be no chance that they would be able to stand against them in their weakened state.
But there was just one thing that just didn't fit...
The Sith have been extinct for years. Since the Emperor died, there hasn't been word since on any Sith activity.
So where did they come from?
-------
Rain pounded the steps to the ship hangar. Haktuiki walked up them, shivering in the cold wet.
He opened the door into the hangar. He looked around, making sure no one was there.
He walked over to his Class 6 Space Spelunker. He typed in his code to disable the locking mechanism.
1 6 7 5 2 4 3 6...
Haktuiki wrapped his Jedi cloak more tightly around him, but it was nothing compared to his nice warm Jawa Cloak that he missed so much...
He found a cupboard on the wall in the hallway leading the cockpit.
He opened the cupboard and pulled out his drawer. He looked around at all the clothing he had acquired over the years. From different cultures and galaxies. He finally spotted it.
He took his Jawa Cloak and wrapped it firmly around himself. Haktuiki felt at home. In his starship, with his rules, and his cloak.
He walked to the cockpit, warming his cold, soaking body with his Jawa Cloak. He stepped inside and sat down.
He boosted up the engines...
~~MEANWHILE~~
Julhan went searching the galaxy for more followers of the jedi and force sensitive. It would be their only hope, for the "Ghost" Sith, which is what they called them, were getting too strong.
The Jedi Patrols searching the area found nothing but scrap metal from the Hangar Doors (which Haktuiki blasted through to get out)
----------------------
Clink! Haktuiki's Juma Juice mug clashed to the floor of the cockpit, as Haktuiki drifted to sleep.
Peace. That was the first sensation Haktuiki felt. Everything was peaceful around him. No war. No segregation. No conspiracy. Everything was at one.
"Haktuiki...," a cold voice crept over him.
Everything turned to blackness. Anger. Fear. Confusion. All the peace went away suddenly. There was chaos.
"YOU are not dreaming, Haktuiki. This is real." said the voice.
"What do YOU want?" said Haktuiki.
"I want YOU. And I will have YOU."
Haktuiki got chills.
"Your fate is right under your nose," said the voice. "But your not being pointed in the right direction"
"What do YOU mean?" said Haktuiki.
"It is time to cross over," said the voice. "Reach who YOU really are."
Haktuiki tried to run, but all there was blackness. He couldn't feel or touch anything. Nothing existed but the voice.
His head burned. His eyes burned. Everything around him turned to fire.
"ARGHHH!!!"
"YOU will switch to the dark side," said the voice calmly. "And if you don't, I will kill you and all the ones you hold dearest..."
"NO!!!" Haktuiki cried. "YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!!!"
"I will," said the voice. "Everything, everywhere will die if you don't. The fate of humanity is in your hands.
Haktuiki sighed. "Never!!!"
"Then you are a fool." thundered the voice.
Something appeared out of the darkness. Haktuiki looked closely. It was Linear, the teenage boy that he had left behind in the docking bay.
"Haktuiki!?!" Linear cried. "What’s going on-"
Before he could finish, Linear suddenly dropped to the ground, blood spurting from his neck and throat.
He lay gasping on the ground, blood streaming everywhere. He screamed.
"HAKTUIKI!!!!!!!!" "HELP ME!!!!!"
Haktuiki tried to move, but he was held back by some invisible force. He watched his friend die.
Suddenly, Linear stopped moving. He was dead.
"NO!!!" cried Haktuiki. "THAT’S IMPOSSIBLE!!!"
(*hint hint* All this seem vaguely familiar from Part One?)
Just as suddenly as the fire and blackness had come, it was gone. Haktuiki sat up in his cockpit chair, taking deep breaths.
Blood soaked the floor of the ship. Sprawled out over the floor, was a dead, blood soaked, and imbomolized Linear.
To Be Concluded...
20 Years, and No Peace
Part Three
30 Years have passed since the attack on the Jedi Temple. Slowly, the Galactic Empire has been rebuilding, the Sith plotting, and the Jedi, once again, nearing extinction.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sweat dripped down Aidens forehead, and eventually into his eyes. He still didn't break his consentration. Force sensitive humans were known for there telekanisis, but lacked in other areas. Aiden was working on these aspects of the force, to try to strengthen his connection.

Aiden was on Dantooine. All he brought with him was his lightsabres, a blaster rifle, and a tent. He was to completely rely on himself for food, water, etc.

The local villages housed Dantari, which are Dantooine locals. They were a primitive people. They communicated through some spoken words, but mostly relied on body language, and facial expressions. During the Galactic Civil War, the Empire had occupied this planet, sending stormtroopers, AT-AT walkers, lambda shuttles, and other technology of those sorts. No one really knows how the Dantari survived the reign of the Empire, but that doesn't matter any more.

The Dantari were an honorable people. Aiden enjoyed observing there rituals, which were strange to him, but Aiden soon came to realise that all cultures are different in alot of ways, and learned to accept the differance between the Dantari and himself. Aidens favorite ritual was the tatooing ceremony. This seemed to be some sort of 'Right of Passage', the adolescent would go through this ritual, and to Aidens geuss they then become Adults, or leaders. But every couple years, Aiden witnessed an event similar to the Tatooing ceremony, but this one was more elaborate, and involved the entire community. It seemed as though the strongest male of the village would perform a series of dance moves in front of a fire, and they would then hold up an Imperial Emblem, that was placed on a piece of metal. Aiden guessed this was scrap from an AT-AT. The Dantari Local would then recieve an interesting tatoo on his chest. He would then be treated with a large amount of respect. He would then assume command of the hunting parties, and would gather firewood. Aidens best guess was this was a ritual that the locals performed to prepare a warrior, or chieftan.

The Dantari were large people. Average height in males was about six feet. They all had broad shoulders, and musculan arms. They hunted with metal probes, which Aiden geussed was also scavanged from an AT-AT, and wooden spears. A truly magnificant culture.

Aiden would meditate almost all day. In patches of flowers, atop hills, in trees, meadows, anywhere peaceful. Aiden chose this planet to strengthen his connection to the force because of the planets connection to the force. Dantooine had always been full of life. Upon meditating, Aiden realised that Jedi had to heavily relied on the force. Aiden realised he fell victim to this as well. The Jedi would use the force to do everything, wether it was to move rocks out of pathways, clean up areas, or even to walk. I fyou rely this heavily on the force, you will lose touch with you. You won't know your limitations. Using the force as a crutch also renders some of your abilitys, and tires you out. By using the force constantly, you would be overusing it, and when you need the force the most, it won't be there with the full strength you require.

"The force is an ally, not a Crutch." A famouse quote from Mara Jade. Aiden understood this now, and he only used the force for when he needed it. This greatly improved his physical condition to.

After about 35 years on Dantooine, something strange happend. Aiden felt something... It was like a tremor in the force. While Aiden was meditating, he felt a trange presence, looming above the planet. He had never felt this before. He felt this presence getting closer, and closer. He had never felt anything like this before. He continued to meditate, trying to figure out what was going on. A day went passed. Then anouther, and the presence was still there. But on the third day, a terrible thing had happend.

Aiden felt a piece of the presence split from the main body, and journey towards the planets surface. He had no idea what was going on. He felt it land. Near the Dantari encampment.

Aiden reached out, with the force, to see what was happening in the camp. He could almost feel the lifeforce of the camp. There lifeforce pulsed throught the force. The Dantari were force sensitive. But then he noticed new, darker lifeforces enter the camp, hate ran through them. Aiden sensed the fear begin to overcome the Dantari, and some of the life forces of the Dantari began to fade.

Aiden jumped up, through off his Jedi Robe, and sprinted toward the camp.

When he finally reached the camp he noticed a couple Trandosian slave running shuttles. Aiden knew exactly what was going on. And he knew he had to do something. But Aiden sensed 13 Trandosians.

Trandosians stood almost seven feet tall, and they wore armor that was resistant to lightsabres. Aiden thought little of this, no matter what, he had to help the Dantari... He had to.

Aiden crept behind a formation of rocks southwest of the Trandosians, and the captive Dantari. It looks as if the locals didn't put up much of a fight. The trandosians had bound the Dantari's hands behind there backs, and force dthem to there knees. The trandosians then commenced a beating. Smacking the local villagers with the buttes of there rifles. Punching, and kicking then followed. Aiden slowly crept behind one of the clay Dantari huts. He grabbed the hilt of one of his lightsabres, and utilized the dual phase ability, and made the blade really small, to only about four inches long, and one centimeter around. He cut a hole through the tent and entered. He moved his way through the hut to the entrance, and peeked out. He was directly behind the Trandosians.

Aiden switched the Dual Phase ability back to normal, took out his second lightsabre, hooked them together, and slowly crept out of the hut.

The trandosians didn't notice Aiden moving closer... closer... and closer.

Aiden simultaniously used his teleknisis ability to pick up a large rock about a yard away from a group of three trandosians. Aiden slammed the rock into the small group, immediatly crushing them, and ignited his sabre into one of the slavers stomachs, then slashing to the right, cutting through the thigh of anouther.

"5 down... 8 more to go..." Aiden thought to himself.

One of the trandosians hadn't even pulled his trigger, and Aiden sensed that the specific trandosian was going to fire, so without thinking, Aiden pushed the slave runner to the ground with the force, and thrusted a fist sized rock into his skull.

A group of three slavers began firing rapidly at Aiden, he rolled his lightsabre, and deflected every single shot back at them. All three went down, with steam rolling off there tunics.

The other four trandosians had been overcome by fear, in which Aiden sensed through the force. They made a run for the transports. Aiden allowed them to, sensing not a very strong force was above the planet in orbit, and these slavers wouldn't be back anytime soon.

Aiden free'd the Dantari, and was thanked, the Dantari presented Aiden with a strange root, that they pronounced "Vincha". Aiden did not know the significance of the root, but the Dantari praised them. So Aiden happily accepted.

A strange thing had happend. Aiden realised his connection to the force had strengthend... Alot. He was able to sense a small number of foes in orbit, and attack the settlement. Aiden also learned he could sense the life presence of those around him, from a great distance. He couldn't do any of this before.

It was because of his utilization of hte force... He manipulated the force so much, to do everyday things, therefor he wasn't able to use it as powerful as he did that day. He was able to lift a two ton rock straight up, and hurl it over 5 yards. He could sense a Trandosian put his finger on its trigger, before it fired.

Most impotantly Aiden decided he was ready.

Ready to fend off the Sith.

Ready to build a new Jedi order. One with the principles he learned on Dantooine.

He knew he was ready... He knew it.

Aiden prepped his transport, that he was surprised still functioned properly.

He set off to to find an old friend...

"Now... If I was a jawa... Where would I be?" Aiden smiled.

-------------------ABOARD A SITH STAR DESTROYER--------------------------

A door shifted behind Vengonce, awakening him from his meditation.

Lord Hathies stepped out. Darth Vengonce was the Sith Leader, but everytime he was in the presence of Lord Hathies, his throat grew cold and his heart sunk.

"It is Aiden," said Hathies. "I can feel him. He is searching for him."

Vengonce turned around, his eyes wide.

"What will we do, my master?" asked Hathies coldly, bowing.

"Let him," said Vengonce. "He won't find anything."

Vengonce got up, and began pacing the room. He stopped suddenly, staring at Hathies. And with a finality, he said:

"Because the one he is searching for...is dead."

--------------------------------------------------

Julhan, old and wise in his years, went to Dantooine knowing that the
Dentari were force sensitive. He planed on teaching the Dentari, if he could even learn how to comunicate with them, even if he didnt find any sutible Jedi. He was confident.

He found that Trandosian slave runners were in orbit. Julhan said to himself, "Well guess I better help...."

He went to the planets surface to a settlement that they had attacked. It looked as if noone had been hurt, except for the Trandosians of coarse. He was going to test them in ways of mind and body. He soon learned that even though the Dentari were primitave, they were still more civiliized than some people in the galaxy, not too mention extremely fast learners.

He helped where he could, trying to learn the way of the people.

~~MEANWHILE~~

"NO!!!"

Hathies awoke abrubtly, breathing deeply. He sat up, and looked around his chamber.

He got up and walked through the door. He strolled the ship untill he came to Vengonce's Private Chambers. The guards with the red robes stopped him and said,

"Lord Vengonce is not here. He has left already."

~~MEANWHILE~~

Aiden had set off to search for one of his dearest friends. Aiden for the first time since he first joined the Jedi Order, felt complete. He no longer blamed himself for the deaths of all those Knights. It wasn't his fault...

Aiden searched many planets looking for Haktuiki. He couldn't find him through the force, the Dark Side had thrown a veil of Hatred, and Confusion across the galaxy. Making it impossible to do such things as search across planets via the force.

Aiden searched Tatooine, Alderaan, Coruscant, Durbillion, Belkadan, and Kashyyk... And to no prevail. Aiden couldn't find his Jawa friend anywhere.

Aiden decided to look for his old master Julhan, who shouldn't be hard to find, he could be found anywhere, searching for force adepts.

Aiden smiled to himself, thinking about old conversations Haktuiki, Julhan, Silo, and himself used to share.

That reminded him of Silo. "What ever happend to him?" Aiden muttered. Aiden thought to himself "Silo was filled with Anger, Hatred, and Despair in our last meeting... Over 35 years ago. I hope nothing bad has happend... I hope he's alright." Aiden was to search for Silo upon meeting with Julhan. And Hopefully Julhan could aid Aiden in all of these searches.

Aiden felt powerfull... Very powerfull... He was twice as good as before with a lightsabre, and three times better with the force.

--------------------------------------------------

Hathies couldn't find Vengonce anywhere. He took a stroll down the corridor leading toward the Weapons facility, though his mind was elsewhere.

He was thinking about the dream he was having just before he had awaken...

It was dark, and he was screaming something...

"NO!!!"

Hathies eyes widened.

"He is dead," Hathies assured himself, with a finality to his voice.

He shook it off and countinued down the corridor. Soon we will have revenge...

~~MEANWHILE~~

Vengonces shuttle landed infront of the Dark Jedi temple to find Seer/Silo training Imperious.

He walked up to them and said, "Who is this using a Sith form?"

"This is Drake, master. He is my succesor, as I am yours."

"Hah! I will never die with the force as my ally."

"That is what you think!" Seer yelled as he drew his saber and Imperious drew his.

Vengonce slowly took out his saber confidently and ignited it. He walked rapidly to the two Sith, attacking the weaker of the two, Imperious. Then Seer jumped infront of him before Dark Lightning and blocking it,

"I too am a weilder of the secret fire, I learned it in the Jedi order!" Seer said sending the bolts back at him, almost killing Vengonce.

Vengonce had dropped his saber and was cralling to grab it. Seer walked over to him, "You Sith are no match for a J-- " he stopped and beheaded Vengonce with out a thought.

"Come we must assume our new positions as rulers of the Galaxy. To restore our new and strong order." Seer said walking to Vengonces shuttle.

----

A cold feeling in the pit of Hathies's stomach suddenly surged through him. His eyes widened and his fists clenched. Something had happened. Something that wasn't supposed to happen.

That was the signal he had been waiting for for the past 30 years. He had been informed of this. He knew what he had to do.

He bolted down the corridor to the main entrance. He dashed across the stairs to the door. He opened the door and ran out into the cold night air.

The feeling in his stomach navigated him through the dark grounds. He could feel it coming closer...and closer...and closer...

Hathies stepped on something rather large. He looked down, but was unable to see it properly, as the night was so dark.

He lit his fingertips with force lightining, and they lumenescened brightly. Hathies looked down.

It was Vengonce's body. Anger swelled at him, boiling in the pit of his throat like hot, angry knives.

He screamed in anger. "AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

He looked up and saw a ship taking off. Hathies bolted back to the Temple and to the main entrance. He dashed up the stairs and to the hanger bay.

Once inside he boarded a small fighter craft, and lifted off.

----

Lord Hathies stood invisible behind Julhan, as he was walking through the streets of Dantooine.

He could tell Julhan sensed him, because he kept looking around and holding his saber tight. Lord Hathies continued down the street.

Anger swelled at him. He wanted to take his saber and gut Julhan alive. He held his anger in untill they rounded a corner and into a dark alley.

Hathies watched as Julhan pulled out a communicator.

"I havn't had any luck so far," he said. "No signs of Aiden or Haktuiki anywhere."

The person he was talking to mumbled something that Hathies couldn't hear.

"Well I'm gonna keep looking," said Julhan. "Ill take another sweep of the system with the probe then I'll move on."

"I don't think you'll have much luck."

Hathies unghosted and sliced Julhans communicator in two with his saber. Julhan reached for his saber but Hathies sent a bolt of lightinining at him.

Julhan crashed to the ground, his saber flying 4 feet away.

"Haktuiki died," said Hathies. "30 years ago."

"I don't believe it," said Julhan.

"Believe it," implied Hathies. "I should know."

"I'm the one who killed him."

"NO!" yelled Julhan. "That's impossible! You LIAR!!!"

Hathies force-choked him. "If you don't believe me, then maybe I should show you first hand to what happened to him."

Hathies took out his saber, ready to slaughter him where he stands.

"You will pay for what you did to my MASTER!"

The Master told you not to kill him, did he not?" said Imperious, lightsaber ignited across Hathies' throat.

"Release him or your death will serve as an example to all those who betray our Lord.... RELEASE HIM DAMMIT!"

"As you wish." said Hathies as he released Julhan

Julhan fell to the floor unconsious and Imperious whispered to Hathies, "Take him to the ship, dont release him from his bonds until he is in the presence of Lord Seer, understood?"
"Yes, I understand," said Hathies glaring at Julhan's unconsious body.

~~BACK ON THE STAR DESTROYER~~

"No."

"NO!"

"NO!!!!!"

Hathies awoke to loud screaming. He looked around his chamber, seeing nothing. Then he turned around.

He saw a hooded black figure force choking what seemed to be a jawa. The figure opened his saber and stuck it in the jawas chest.

"AHHHHHH!!!!" the Jawa screamed, and the words seemed to come out of Hathies mouth.

The dead jawa dropped to the floor, and the figure looked at Hathies. Red eyes. All he could see were the eyes. He panicked.

He awoke, screaming.
Hathies fell out of bed, a fear in his eyes unlike anyone had ever seen. He took out his saber, searching for the hooded figure. There was no one there.

It was just a dream...

Suddenly a jolt of pain hit him. He fell to the floor, doubled over.

He screamed.

Hathies tore off his robe and looked down. There was a huge, searing, burning hole in his stomach. Almost as if.....a saber burn.

Hathies awoke, panting. These were intense dreams, and they were somehow giving Hathies a message. A message to...speed things up.

--------------------------------------------------

Hathies walked the dark corridors of the starship slowly. Thinking about what he was going to do.
He stopped at a door at the far end of the final deck of the ship. It was marked, "Top Secret."

He opened the door and stepped into a massive chamber area. A red gaurd stepped up to him and said "This room is off limits to Sucurity Clearence 6 and below..."

Hathies stopped him. "Vengonce is dead. I am in charge of this project now."

"Clear the room," he said to the workers in the room.

"But my lord, the project is not finish-"

Again, Hathies stopped. "Then you stay," he said.

The workers left the chamber silently. He walked over to a control console, and pressed a red lever down.

"Time Displacement Engine Online," a cold voice sounded throughout the chamber.

Lights came on throughout the chamber.

Hathies pressed his communication device, and said "All Sith aboard transport, execute order 99."

Over the next hour, Sith in black cloaks entered through the door way and stepped on a platform in the middle of the great chamber.

When all the Sith had arrived, Hathies gave them their orders.

"Leave little Jedi behind as possible, and make sure the Jawa lives."

The Sith nodded in agreement.

This was it. The moment the Sith had been waiting for for a millenia.

Hathies worked his way around a control console, setting spacial/time coordinates. The Jedi Temple, 30 years earlier.

He pulled down a red lever, and there was a great, bright light. In a flash, the hundereds of Sith dematerialized, and the room was empty.

Just as quickly as the Sith were gone, less than half of them rematerialized on the platform. Most of them were injured, bleeding.

It worked. This set in motion the events in which would lead to his situation. He then remembered the fighting, the battles, the crys. It worked. He was alive.

"Job well done," he told the remaining Sith. "Clear the room and await me in the Hospital Wing."

The Sith left the room, some limping, some being hauled by other Sith.

Hathies pulled the lever back, and he stepped to the control console again. The Jedi Temple shuttle bay, just a few days later.

Hathies pulled the lever again. There was another great flash of light, and something materialized on the platform.

It was a Jawa, sleeping by the looks of it. With a great pain in his stomach, Hathies turned his head to look at his past self...

"Haktuiki...," Hathies said.

The Jawa sat up with a great yelp, looking around the chamber.

"You are not dreaming, Haktuiki. This is real." Hathies said.

"What do you want?" said Haktuiki.

"I want you. And I will have you."

"Your fate is right under your nose," Hathies told him. "But your not being pointed in the right direction"

"What do you mean?" said Haktuiki.

"It is time to cross over," said Hathies confidently. "Reach who you really are."

Haktuiki apparently tried to run. Hathies stopped him with the force. He could tell is past self was confused with all the darkness.

Let's clear up this darkness, shall we? Hathies thought to himself.

He lifted his arms, and fire erupted around the room. Haktuiki started screaming in agony.

"You will switch to the dark side," Hathies told him. "And if you don't, I will kill you and all the ones you hold dearest..."

Hathies knew that this was just talk, he could not kill his past self. This would cause many problems.

"NO!!!" Haktuiki cried. "YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!!!"

"I will," Hathies lied. "Everything, everywhere will die if you don't. The fate of humanity is in your hands.

Haktuiki sighed. "Never!!!"

"Then you are a fool." Hathies yelled.

He needed another plan. Then a thought came to him, suddenly remembering bits about his past.

He fooled around with some controls, and pulled the red lever once again.

There was a flash of light, and a man, or teenage boy for that matter, materialized on the platform. It was Linear. Thousands of memories washed over Hathies.

"Haktuiki!?!" Linear cried. "Whats going on-"

Hathies force grabbled Linear by the throat, and clenched his fists together as tightly as possible

Linear fell gasping to the ground, blood streaming everywhere. He screamed.

"HAKTUIKI!!!!!!!!" "HELP ME!!!!!"

Haktuiki tried to run again, by Hathies held Haktuiki back tightly with his force grip.

Suddenly, Linear stopped moving. He was dead.

"NO!!!" cried Haktuiki. "THATS IMPOSSIBLE!!!"

The job was done. Hathies felt it. More memories flashed through his mind, filling in the gaps of Hathies, or Haktuikis life.

No...Hathies life. Not Haktuiki. No.

"Send a guard," he told the Worker, who was still standing behind Hathies, watching, horrified, "Capture the Jawa."

~~MEANWHILE~~

Hathies paced his private chambers, occaisonally glancing at his past self, who was tied to a chair by force bonds.

"Tell me about the Jedi," said Hathies. "How manys left, what are they planning to do, are they rebuilding the Jedi Temple?"

Haktuiki refused to speak.

New memories were constantly flashing through Hathies mind. He could remember how confused he was to be there and how he refused to say anything untill Hathies, or I, made the first move.

Hathies sighed.

"You are abord a Sith Star Destroyer," said Hathies, and Haktuiki looked up. "30 years in the future," Hathies finished.

Haktuiki was puzzled.

"I've brought you here to set in motion a chain of events that will lead me to ruling the Galaxy," said Hathies.

Hathies thought carefully for a moment, wondering whether he should reveal himself to Haktuiki just yet.

Hathies and Haktuiki both remembered something from the past.

He was talking to Aiden about something...

Temporal residue...

"I knew it," said Haktuiki. "All this time. And I never did anything to stop it. To stop...me."

He knew who Hathies was. Hathies heart sank. Haktuiki can not break free...

Suddenly an explosion sounded, shaking the entire ship. Hathies took out his communicator, and called the bridge.

"Whats happening," yelled Hathies.

"It's the Jedi," said a voice from the communicator. "They've located us-"

The transmission broke off. "Commander!" Hathies called.

Hathies ran out of the doors, leaving Haktuiki tied to the chair, looking puzzled.

Jedi were materializing throughout the ship, their lightsabers blazing. Sith were coming from all directions, engaging the Jedi in battle.

Hathies ran to help them.

~~MEANWHILE~~

Haktuiki was concentrating hard on the force bonds, trying to break free.
It seemed like a good place to start, as his brain was still attempting to process everything thats happened.

So...
The Sith. The Sith had come from the future. Hathi-, he, had sent them back in time to attack the Jedi Temple. This explained so much.
The day of the meeting. Haktuiki had felt great pain, as if sensing something terrible. He talked to Aiden about Temporal Residue. How thats the only thing that could have caused a lapse like that.
Hes been transported 30 years into the future by his future self, in order to become his future self.

Things were beginning to take shape. Everything was all starting to come together. The holes were being filled.

Suddenly, with a great snap, the force bonds came apart, freeing Haktuiki from his restraints,

He bolted out of the chamber doors, and into the fight.

--------------------------------------------------

It was an all out war. Lightsabers blazed in so many different directions, Haktuiki could not make sense of it all.

He picked up a lightsaber from a dead Jedi, and set off down the corriders, through the battle, to find Hathies.

He cut down as many Sith as possible on his way through the battle. Taking a few blows here and there, but nothing serious.

Soon he turned a corner and ran straight into a red lightsaber. His face was cut, shaved at the forehead. He stumbled to the floor, his face a bleeding, burnt mess.

His left eye had been fused, his vision impaired. He relyed on the force to see untill he got his bearings right.

Haktuiki cut the Sith down, at the legs. He fell to the floor with a great thud.

Haktuiki slowly stood up, clutching his face. His vision was slowly coming back to him.

He continued down the corridor, dizzy a bit. Then, he spotted Hathies. He was fighting a couple of Jedi with two sabers at the far end of the hall.

Hathies cut down the Jedi he was facing, and saw Haktuiki at the end of the hall, scarred and injured.

"You and you," Hathies yelled to a pair of Sith, "Restrain the Jawa! Don't let him be harmed!"

The Sith raced toward Haktuiki, grabbing him by the arms.

With all his might, Haktuiki pushed at the Sith, trying to break free.

Suddenly, he spotted him. One of the Jedi who had just materialized at the end of the cooridor. Deep pain swelled inside Haktuiki as he pushed against the Sith restraining him.

There he was, old and grayed in his wise years.

"AIDEN!" Haktuiki yelled.

Aiden stood, transfixed at the spot, staring at Haktuiki.

And it was that - the sight of Aiden, fragile, scarred, that Haktuiki knew what he had to do.

With all his strength against the Sith holding him, he ignited his lightsaber and turned it so it was facing himself.

With one last look at Aiden, who was yelling "NOOOO!!!", Haktuiki drove the lightsaber, without hesitation, into his own heart.

~~30 Years Earlier~~

Haktuiki has offered to hunt down this Sith Lord...for a price of course.

"I am prepared to do anything nessecary to eliminate this threat," Haktuiki said.
"As you know, I once applyed for the Jedi, but they turned me down because of my species"
"Regardless of all of this, I still love the Jedi Order and will do anything to fight for it."
"And you know me by reputation. You know I am more than capable to do this...for a price."

Yes, you are quite... Reputable... But, I don't know if we could risk it. The power of the Dark Side is extremely hard to resist. Especially to one without training. I am very sorry but..." Aiden was cut-off by Luke, "We need his help..."
"Indeed we do..." Replied Aiden. "But we don't need to kill him. Right now I just need, information. Could you do this?"

"I don't usually do information. Its not my specialty," said Haktuiki.
"But in your case I will make an exception. Regardless of my talent for hunting, I will use my talent to find him, track him down, and gather information as much as I can."

Haktuiki stands up, looking around the room peacefully.

"I will do it, for a price. And I will give up Bounty Hunting for this Jedi Order."
"After this meeting I will service only the Jedi Order."
"And I do wish to speak with Julhan about another matter."
"But for right now, what say you?"

"Alright... but mind your place. Your not into the order yet. I must discuss this with the Full council present. There will be a rather large bounty for you. You will recieve 25 percent of it now, and the rest upon completion of your Reconissance. Thank you."

"Alright well i'll leave you two alone."

"Master, i'll be in the grove meditating if you need me."

Julhan said "That is good Aiden. well let me first congradulate you into the order. So why do u want to speak to me in private? Is it of great importance? Just a request, or something else entirely different? For we must hurry and see what we can find out about this new 'Sith Lord'."

"It's a request," said Haktuiki. "I am greatly interested in joining the Jedi Order."

'Yes, we understand that," said Julhan. "If all goes well with the hunt, then I will speak to the Council about enrolling you."

"Thank you very much," said Haktuiki.

"The day is young," said Julhan. "Spend it relaxing, for it is beautiful, and tomarrow we will begin the hunt."

--------------------------------------

Haktuiki helped the Jedi track down Vengonce, who was hiding on Dantooine at the time. He was captured and interrogated. He commited suicide twelve days later.
Haktuiki was admitted into the Order three months later for his service in capturing Vengonce.
Aiden was put on the Jedi Council after only three years of service to the Jedi Order. He became the youngest ever to be admitted onto the Council, at age 19.
For the next three decades, the Jedi Order expanded a great deal and was finally recognized throughout the entire Galaxy.
Without Vengonce to rule, the Sith would then become extinct once again.
The Jedi Order became the leading goverment throughout the Galaxy and crime and poverty was almost extinguished.
After nearly a half of a century, peace was finally achieved.

AUTHOR's NOTES -

I came up with the idea for 20 Years and No peace after watching Donnie Darko, ironically. I thought it'd be cool to introduce a sort of time travel story into the Star Wars universe.
Without really thinking, the first part sort of just formed in my head, with bits of 2 and 3 mixed in with it. When I started writing it, I knew I had to keep in mind what was going to happen in 2 and 3 because its such a deep storyline.

If you have any questions at all, no matter how dumb, please ask :)
