Hello friends! Today I am asking you for a little help. One of my friend has sent me a link to a petition addressed to Raven Software about Global Update for SWJKA. If you have a bit of time, please follow the link below and sign it. This might not result exactly in what it says, but AT LEAST together we will bring the attention to this request and the game creators will know that we love this game. This is clearly a joke petition, calling things like the sacred blue and legendary kata "useless". Besides, they'd probably have to go through EA to even do anything.

I actually wouldn't want either removed for serious reasons. They may be superficial or ineffective combat techniques, but their inclusion is culturally a part of jka. Even if this were a serious petetion, I might not sign it.

I hate to be Mr. Negativity, but we're not going to see a new JK game. Period. Just like we won't see a new KOTOR game, a new X-Wing game, or a new Republic Commando game. Why? Because EA is trying to do something new, and bringing back an older game wouldn't suit the needs of themselves or Disney's new EU standards. Everything has to work into the new canon, or it's shot down. That's the way Disney is going to be operating for a long time to come.

In addition, way too much time has passed for their to be a true sequel. If we were to get one, it would end up being like the most recent Duke Nukem game. Overhyped and it would be a let down, because at this point, nothing can or will live up to our expectations. That's just the way it works.

Still though I hope we can get a sequel to Battlefront II, I loved that game!
