I was talking with Yama and apparently there are a few of you guys on here that have been in the military (US and other countries), so I figured that I would post some pictures of myself during my service in the US Navy and others as well. Feel free to reply with your history!




I did SpecWar in the Navy.



I am now in an all military veteran motorcycle club.

I also paint Warhammer figures from time to time.

And I love me some Black Metal. Here is a blurred picture of me and Carach Angren from a couple of years ago.

Wow, that's impressive. I use to be a long haired black metal guy too. Until I switched to progressive rock/metal. And lost some hair on the forehead.

Haha. Well then you may like Solstafir's newest stuff. They are from Iceland. Really good dudes to meet, too!

I know of several old/inactive members who were military. Not sure of current members though.

Btw, I know Loki is a veteran who served in Iraq some time ago, I'm sure the both of you would have plenty to talk about, but I'm just curious, when we're you active in the military? What was it like in the Navy?

Thanks for the reply Uscari! I was in the Navy a month after I graduated high school in 2004. I got out in 2010 to pursue my 1st college degree. I am currently working on my second right now.

To answer the 2nd part, it was hard work all the time for at least the 1st 4 years while I was in. Constant deployments including 2 combat deployments. And I found out that I can get sea sick, so that was fun (not!!). But all in all I am glad that I did it. It gave me a ton of experience to handle civilian life almost better than most civilians. lol!! Plus it gave me an in to the MC that I am in right now.

Yeah served for seven years with the Australian Army Training EDD and CAD dogs (explosive detection dog, Combat assault Dogs.) Retiring with the rank of Lieutenant pronounced correctly as lefttenant not loootenant like you yanks say.
