I was approached in the exile server by Èxile:kilt↞M↠, who tells me that he is banned from both the server and the forum, and that he's never played in our server before but would like to. He was polite and seemed genuine. I told him I suspected a range ban and that I would inquire on his behalf.

It's not a range ban, as I don't think you can be automatically banned from the website.

It is a range ban.

But note that Èxile:kilT was not banned, only the proxy he chose to use was. Due to the use of proxies by script kiddies and trolls they have been blocked. The one he chose to use is favoured by those nubs. Besides, playing via a proxy increases the latency thus making real-time gameplay near useless - it really is only useful for trolls. If Èxile:kilT chooses to use his own connection then it will be fine.

The forum accounts need to be activated by the moderators, his account is not banned, it just had not been activated. I have just done so.

I got this game gifted by a neighbor, Tagil(who is banned and wants an unban), When I started playing I started in CoF and when Tagil told me to try going to KR I tried. It said i was banned and so he sent me to the forum to see what the problem is because I never entered your server. I don't know how I was banned but I was. when tagil got unbanned I was still banned until Toast visited The Èxile's main server and i told him what had happened. Thanks again Toast btw. Anyway I tried to go to the server after toast got me unbanned and I was banned again immediately, I didn't even get into the server, I just connected.

If tagil wants to be unbanned, then he needs to post here(admin complaints section) himself. And if you're playing through his internet(you said neighbor, right?) there's no guarantee that you wont find yourself banned again if rule breaking continues. Like Jaw said, proxies get banned.

The ban against your IP has been lifted. Whether you knew it or not, the IP you used to make your post is different to the one you used to create your account. That was a proxy which are usually blocked for the reasons I stated.

Also, if your neighbour is known to us as xPandax that would explain the carry-over ban.

And without knowing his IP we cannot lift it. So, what is the forum name of this banned account? And what is the IP which is bannned?
