Soooo, im using single as primary, so that's what i will take trough the ranks.

I have read, and heard that Knights get first dibs at paddys, yet someone on the server told me, that this is not the case if you request a specific master.
If this is true, i would like to formally request that Jr be my Master. We have already spoken, and i'm happy to say, Jr approves.

I would gladly take you as my Padawan, Dirian. But, yes, Knights do get first choice. If none of them request to take you, I believe I can be your master, though. So, if they do not respond to this, I'll accept you.

(Note, this is considered a partnership - you do have to like the Master well enough to want to be trained by them - we don't force it.)

In this case it would make the most sense as Dirian and Jr voice chat. play at the same time get along well. There are plenty of invites out at the moment. So knights are not going to miss out. besides Jr and Dirian have complementary styles. Also just to clarify something if a student makes a specific request for a master should this not override the 'knights get first choice thing' It is the students journey through KR should not the student get first say not the Knight? Should they not get to choose their experience.? sorry dirian to highjack the thread. I realise its part of the 'ranking up system' Just wondering is all.

It is common courtesy/decency of new invites and KR with ranks higher than Knight to give Knights first pick at new Padawans as this is the only way they can rank up if they desire. Ultimately it is the Padawan's choice, but as I said it is only fair to those who have never had Padawans to be given the choice first.

Had a chat with dirian on the server and I would be happy to take over as his master if the council is willing.

What he said! Oh and i would only ask that my time as a pada be backdated to the day i got APPROOOVED with Jr.
