So, basically I've been having an issue adding servers to my favorites. Basically, when I click the server and click add favorite, it causes the game to crash and windows 'attempts' to find a solution. When I click the option to manually enter the IP, I can enter th IP, but when I try to submit, the same thing occurs. Any ideas? It's a minor annoyance, nothing too big.

Do you ever right click on the JKA Icon ( or Steam Icon ) and run as administrator? it's possible that it is the way that the game somewhat protects you, I would guess.

I'm no expert, but you can try:

1.) Running the game as an Administrator.
2.) Check if the game is on your Antivirus exceptions list.
3.) Reinstall.

Whenever I have had server list issues in the past, I have always tried this: Move the servercache.dat file located in your Gamedata folder to a safe spot outside your game folders (i.e. like your desktop). Then start the game. If you had favorites before, they should be gone. Try adding new ones and see if you get the same error. If not, you problem is likely fixed and it is safe to delete the servercache.dat you previously moved.

If doing this fixes nothing, and you still have a problem, then a reinstall might be the easiest route. If you want, you can move the old severcache.dat file back or go ahead and delete it. You will notice that the game will create a new one in your Gamedata folder when you start the game. Good luck.

Do you still have that servercache.dat that caused the crash by chance? I can look into the root problem of the crash and fix it if you do.

I do still have it.

I do still adding a favorites a servers that I will love to play there or visit there depends on my mood. But when I already have serveral that are saved and favorited, and then you add some more favorites. Then on a next day or so, it's disappeared, so and it make me have to start over and favorite it, I think I can only favorite fews and it can be good enough.

To get in KR, I don't favorite it, instead I'm using KR mod, which when you get on jka, there's a mod in main menu which you will see KR1, you can click it, and it's automatic get you to KR1, so that's easier for me than to fix favorite over and over from times to times, but that's me.

Edit: Cult, did you figured out why you got crashed after you clicked it ? I have no idea because I never had the same issues if you had before. I tends to use my old ways, I tend to put the ips of the server on the notepad, that ways I can copy and paste on the server and connects. Hope it helps!
