I have noticed an increase in more people coming to the KR server lately. Possibly a resurgence do to the new movie being released this month? Could the game itself see a resurgence? hmmm. We shall see I suppose. In any event, the KR sever is where I shall remain.

Every day, at some time during the day, the server has 32 visitors with people queuing to get on - activity has been like this for months.

Game Tracker has this server as number 1 - and has been so for nearly 2 years.

Not likely due to the movie. One possibility is that steam recently had its black friday sales and jk3 was on sale for like $3.99 or something. But in general our server activity has increased alot over the last year just due to other servers being shut down, stupid ddos attackers, our awesome map rotation, and of course our awesome members.

And I STILL use the actual game discs to play. WOOT YAY ME FTW!!!! hahahahaha

Having it on steam also helps I like to think. I used to have hard copies also, but I'm able to do everything I was before with the steam version. I hope the game does see a resurgence. I mean you can get Dark Forces - JKA on steam for like 6 bucks. That's honestly what got me back in the game, a long with finding a fun environment at the KR server.

Yeah personally it's steam that made me come back. I just saw it on sales and I thought "aw man it's been so much time ! I have so much good memories from this game. and only 3 euros so let's buy it !" so I bought it the 29th of November. Since this day I played 65 hours :p

Exactly, I've tried to come on last week and I was like ''lolwut? KR server is full,eh?'' coz I didn't play for a very long time. I mean It's good that the number of people has increased and KR is a number one server, but the number of lamers has increased too :/

ummmm why? I don't know if this was a sale or something. But I got every game from the jedi knight series including dark forces for 6.99$ US dollars.

I mean steam's sales make me buy a lot of games ._.

I honestly came back because of the movie, and wanted to revisit the best saber combat in ever. I'm staying because of good people, and fun duals.

actually the server population's going pretty low i don't see many people connecting which is a bit unfortunate

it might have something to do with the server not being on the master list
