The REAL Rosh?

So, I was replaying Knights of the Old Republic 2, and when I met Atton, I asked him who he was, with which he responded:

"I'm Atton. I actually wasn't supposed to make it into the final game, but I was created at the last minute. Blame my agent. I was actually slated for a spin-off to Jedi Knight, but I don't want to talk about what happened "there"."

Meaning that originally, Atton Rand was to be Rosh Penin in Jedi Academy. I guess they wanted Rosh to be in Jedi Academy to sorta add more hatred to the character to further influence the player of the decision at the end to kill him or not.

If you don't know Atton, basically he was a Sith Assassin who served under Revan during the Jedi Civil War. His job was to go to jedi, and attempt to convert them to the dark side, and if they refused, kill them. He then was arrested and eventually meet up with Meetra Surik, otherwise known as "The Jedi Exile", and helped her save the galaxy from the three Sith lords. I guess it's hard to imagine him scream "IMA GREAT JEDI" now.

Image Just in case anyone was curious about what happened after the events of KOTOR 2, I shall let you know. Pretty much right after the events of KOTOR 2, Meetra found that the droid T3-M4 had been concealing Revan's whereabouts all this time. After finally getting T3 to reveal his info, Meetra found out that Revan had been captured by a person called Lord Scourge. Meetra then set off for Nathema. After a lot of irrelevant stuff, Meetra ended up rescuing Revan with the help of Scourge (actually it ended in Revan rescuing them due to their inability to best a dark council member). The three then went to Dromound Kaas to confront Lord Vitiate (at the time he was emperor). While Meetra and Scourge were delayed by royal guards, Revan rushed ahead to the emperor. When Meetra and Scourge finally caught up, they found Revan pretty much defeated, however Meetra was able to deflect Vitiate's final blow to Revan. Scourge realised that they couldn't win, so he took advantage of Meetra's trust and stabbed her in the back. Yep, thank you bioware. She did end up becoming a force spirit and helped Revan live through centuries of captivity though.

Lol. But it makes sense if you look at his clothes, they do seem a tad bit off for kotor, but seems to fit the style of jedi academy.

Agreed. Old republic was a lot more flowy robes and like metal and gold plating. In the time where the empire was in control people seemed to be dressed in mostly fabric, not really any armor.

Man from the future trapped in the past. 'Forced' to play as a different character in the video game industry.
