Pet Project for Council/Anyone for a change of pace for CN's

So I've been thinking about what games that have been remade but didn't have any multiplayer mods in the whole time it was around. The game that keeps rebounding in my mind has been Wing Commander: Privateer.
I know, I hear ya all groaning at how old this game really is (Old. As in while Jawfin was something equal to a Master back in those days) and now that the Vegastrike remake has given it life again, I'd thought if anyone in our growing family would like to take the time of adding in more folks than just one.

My idea on how it should go is this: You start the game in a Tarsus, at Hector Mining base in Troy, (its what and where you start anyways) and you work your way to where you want to be. It (hopefully) should include just itself for the materials, just with more players.

You log out in two ways. 1: if your docked in a base, your ship simply disappears. 2: If your in deep space and you want to log out, your ship uses the Jump animation (Log out animation) and disappears from everyone's view (How everyone else sees it).

The NPC ships should hopefully still be quite flexible to handle the additional people, and may even prove a challenge for you all too.

The Mission Computer should work like it does usually: 3 missions per person, no ifs, ands, or buts.

You only fly your ship, nobody else's (Yes, even in turrets/captured ships)

The Guilds (Bounty and Merchant) should work much like the mission computer

And if you dock at another base with someone, it'll just show your stuff at the Dealers/Cargo/Bars/everything.

We used to have open game nights on Steam. Maybe try bringing that back?

can we just have another massive game night where we all get into the same Skype call and play the Ship? That was so much fun
