They were meant to be there if there weren't a lot of people on you could have some fun with the tauntauns, but I forgot to take into account the people factor. Oh well you live you learn, sorry to cause the trouble. :)
People can't control themselves when they don't know they're doing something bad. If you say "that's gonna lag/crash the server" I'm sure there would be no more tauntaun abuse (as it's access is for admins only).

The one day I was on the server with that map I do remember that the person(s) who were abusing the said tauntauns were asked several times to stop. I don't think whether or not it crashes the server is the issue here, I think that the abuse of the tauntaun spawns to for purposes it wasn't meant for is, and it's disrespectful to Jammer who put time an effort into that map to make it cool and fun.

But, Jammer removed the spawns so the good news is rancor is back on the menu boys.

Hey guys, I was thinking that Vjun and Taspir are awfully similar, being that most of the server congregates in a central circular arena. It just seems a little redundant to keep both of them. I have heard some say they prefer Taspir over Vjun, so could we replace Vjun with something that most of us could agree on? Like idk Stamp, Rogue, Rift, something of that nature?

I've replaced vjun with t3_stamp. danger and rift and wedge, as fun as they are, are not good for ffa - their more for when an arbi is on to load by hand.

Oh, and i made taspir every second map :P

NO! D: At first I wasn't big on rancor, but now its growing on me! It has so many different places to visit and an inclusive central region!

It has places that drop my FPS, and it doesn't even have a single damn rancor in the map!! I want a refund!! :evil:

t1_rancor flares up my claustrophobia, it's hard to navigate because everything looks the same, and brings back bad childhood memories. I always skipped this mission because it scared the crap out of me

R.I.P. vjun3 :( t3_stamp is good but no reason to remove vjun3, it was just replace ffa5, would be a REALLY BETTER choice.

Btw, is it possible to replace ffa5 with the Taspir Duel map? It's way better and is still Taspir for the Taspir lovers, just not boring like ffa5. I've talked to some of the Taspir lovers and most like Taspir Duel better than ffa5. Though I didn't talk to many of them, I think it's enough. Plz?

I like and enjoy any and ALL Taspir maps (levels in SP) lol but if you switch to Taspir duel that's cool. Works for me :) I know many people complain on FFA5 about lag. Doesn't seem to bother me much. Whatever you decide, I'm fine with.

Just to jump on the bandwagon, I am also not a fan of t2_rancor. There are some lag and fps issues and also it has a weird layout.

Just wondering if Taspir 1 from the SP level has ever been on the server before. If so did it cause lagging for most players? Were there any problems with it at all? That might be a good map to try if it hasn't been yet.

I think Taspir1 and 2 are too big, but it's a nice map though. But we don't have these maps to mapped it out.

What Rogue said. It's big, has npc's likely to crash the server, and would have terrible fps for people with older builds due to distances and shaders.
