Erm this one is SUSE 10.0 although I think the Live CD might be 9.1

why do you reccommend another one worth trying??

Thats why I think the live CDs are great! you can just try it.

edit: I have used Redhat before and didnt think it was as good as suse but then again it was a year ago so I might not be being fair.

No that's actually Vista.
I disabled alot of Vistas features to make it seem more like XP.

Vista sucks.
I hate it.
Don't get it.

Yeah thats Style XP. I was trying it out earlier to get rid of the Vista theme (which eats up way too much memory for my comp) but guess what?
It doesnt work with Vista! Whadda you know?

=_=

Do not worry come september time with SP1 and such it will start to be okay.

The same was said about XP..now its de factto.. For all its down points at the minut which are not all MSs fault to be fair its a lot to do with lazy programmers, Vista will take over soon and will be the next gen thing

If you want to get rid of the vista theme just put a basic apperance on it.

Drivers and compatability is something that will come when lazy hardware manufactureres and developers get their arses into 3rd gear.

Plus if course DX10 games.. :

If your system is good enough to handle it, DX 10 games is what will leave Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 for dust... not that NVIdia and ATi cant do that already. (although the cards cost nearly as much as the console :))

Well see, the damn Vista Upgrade Adviser thing told me that my system was capable of all versions of Vista.
So I got Home Premuim.

Positive Sides:
It looks cool
Boots my machine faster

Negative Sides:
Everything else.

I disabled the 3d Flipbook thing, Ive disabled taskbar live preview, Ive disabled the Aero Glass thing, and other stuff.
My comp still runs like horse-$h!t.

Oh, and it won't run LimeWire, JAMS Kt, X-Fire, Daemon Tools, and an older version of Tabit.

I'm sure theres other things but I can't think of em right now.
