Kane we had this discussion the other day

Do you think Statham would make a good Bond? or is his character base too limited?

Well, now being a huge Statham fan I would say he would make a great Bond.

However only one thing would go against him for Bond I think, the lack of hair. I've seen almost every movie by him and while he does seem to stick to the same basic role profile aka "West End Smartass" He can diversify quite well as shown in In The Name Of The King

Statham as Bond, never thought of that tbh..

I think he would have to drop some of the cockney smartass as Kane said though..It doesn't suit Bond.

A Clockwork Orange : A disturbing psychological thriller

The Wicker Man : Also a disturbing-like mystery thriller


And guys, let me know if anyone follows up on these movies in the whole thread to watch - or thoughts if you have seen them already

I have only seen the Wicker man with Nicholas Cage in..I am sure the original was far far better.. The Cage version actually is in my top 5 worst films I have ever seen.

Clockwork Orange is good though
