The one with the red background was meant for the "Sig of the week" contest, but after I made it I found out the topic was locked.
The blue one isn't one of my best :O

Try some more render blending. In photoshop you can duplicate, enlarge and motion blur the render, and set it to overlay. You may be able to do it in the gimp, and if you can, it would help your sigs out a bunch.

I'll try blending on my next, but first here's one I made for Flap. It looks decent, but not professional.
Forgot to edit the render, so it's not very good especially with all the out of proportion little fuzzy blocks around it.

It's fascinating your sigs a couple days ago didn't have blending or color balance, and now they do!
Another thing you may want to work on is flow in your sig. For the best sig, you really want it to have great flow.

Remember the #1 or #2 or #something rule of sig making, color schemes!
I like the new samus one, it has nice flow and the text matches, but the background doesn't match the render.

Well, the truth is I tried blending it, but It became too faded. So I kept it the way it was. EDIT: New sig (I like this one).
