yeah they will have to have their DNS databases updated. whether they would, then it woudl then start to repluicate to other Internet DNS servers around the world.

then when a user types that host name in or any website rather the DNS process begins to resolve that host record to an Ip address so it can locate the server(s) (ip address).. I could literally go on for ages on that but it would be pointless, its extremeley confusing and difficult anyway.

Yeah, I think the easiest way of explaining it is, theres a file the basically reads:

kr1.knights-reborn.org => 72.5.248.180:29070

So the address you put in gets resolved to the IP of KR1. It doesn't exactly work that way, but its the basic principle.

let's say i want to add KR1 server to favorite what should i write
kr1.knights-reborn.org?
i am asking like that because in favorites I cannot add g(which is the lastest alphabet) in favorites
when i write,it looks like this in KR1 server;
kr1.knights-reborn.or

i dont think thats what these address things are for, ur meant to put them into the console to connect to KR

if you want to have a fav server you could try saving the IP to a .cfg file, like...

on a notepad, type out this:
connect 72.5.248.180:29070

then save that as KR.cfg in your japlus folder found through this directory: C:Program Files/Lucasarts/Jedi Academy/Gamedata/Japlus

then ingame at the start up screen you can type into the console:
/exec KR

this will execute the .cfg and connect you instantly to the server the IP belongs too

course thats just me lol, i find it easier to have .cfg's instead of saving the server to the ingame favorites
