Everyone had awoke the next day. Silently making their way up the there next exam, no one knew what was to come.
At about eight in the morning, everyone had made it to the forest edge.
Starcomand was standing there waiting for the last of the genin to arrive at this point. It was still silent, everyone was too nervous to talk at this point. Even the older Genin didn’t say anything.
Finally everyone arrived. Starcomand stood up.
“Welcome all. Know I’m sure your wondering what is going to happen for this exam and I will get to that in a second.” The small groups of people that were talking to one another stopped. “Know listen very carefully. This mission is to test ability, smarts, and strength. Know there is a tower out in the middle of this forest. I will be giving your group one of two scrolls. There is a heaven and earth scroll. The objective is to find the other scroll you don’t have. There are ten scrolls out in the forest. In order to enter the tower you must have both of the scrolls, but you may not open the scrolls. If you do something bad will happen. Know you have to get to the tower in five days. If you don’t enter the tower in the time given you fail. If you look at the scrolls before entering the tower, you fail. Besides that there is no rules as soon as you enter the forest. Know there is a booth right over there, you and your teammates line up and each team will give there papers to me and you will get a scroll. Lets begin.”
Kakashi and his group were the first, and then on other groups went up.
Obito and Kakashi followed Silvercloud; she walked over to Faia and her group. “I have a plan for all of us. Seeing that most of these other genin are smarter and faster we need to work together. I’m not interested in knowing what scroll you have either. What do you think?”
Faia looked at her teammates. “Sounds good to us. Only one problem. This forest is big, and we don’t know what it looks like from the inside. How do we find each other?”
“We can run around the forest entrance until we meet up. It will take use a bit more time but it will be worth us.”
“Ok then.” Just as they said that Shrunkencheese and his group walked up.
“I couldn’t help but over hear your conversation. But do you mind if we join in? I mean it will be better with nine people working together.”
“Sure why not. Just remember the fact that there are other genin out here that know the transformation jutsu and can take forum of any of us. That would be bad and a downfall for all of us. Stay on your guard.” Kakashi choose himself to lead the large group. Obito stood behind him on it. Everyone listened to the plan and then broke, waiting for Starcomand to give the word.
“Alright everyone. You’re getting a number. That number will determine what gate you start at. Come and draw numbers know.”
Everyone walked up and grabbed a number from the box Starcomand was holding.
Kakashi went back over to Faia and Shrunkencheese. “Ok I got section 23. What did u guys get?”
“I got 26.” Shrunkencheese said with a bit of surprise in his eyes.
“Wow then this will work out. I got section 17.” Faia said with even more of a shocked look in her eyes.
“Ok then this will be easer.”
Starcomand spoke up again. “Everyone to your gates so that we may begin. It will start at ten sharp and then from there you have five days to get to the tower at this time.” Everyone ran to there post and stood waiting for the go ahead. Star stood there looking at his watch, again everyone was silent. “YOU MAY BEGIN.”
The gates flew open and everyone was off. The forest was only a few feet from the gate and after that it was filled with tall trees. These trees were taller then the had been over one-hundred years ago when Naruto had first gone into this forest.
The three groups ran to each other. Once they met up the all nodded there heads and jumped into the tree closest to them and started into the woods.
“So guys know that were together what’s the plan?” Hosh-Pak said.
Kakashi looked behind while trying to stay in the tree. “Well this is what’s to happen. We have to keep moving no matter what. Silvercloud is going to us her Byakugan for parts of the time to see if we have any trouble coming are way. If we get into trouble we need to split the groups. This is how it will work.”
Everyone kept going threw the rough trees and branches moving at a fast pace.
“My group will stay in the middle are of the trees. Shrunkencheese you and your team go to the bottom and follow us from ground. Faia your team will go up higher to watch for anything you can see. If anyone gets in trouble the other groups will hide, and when needed step in to help. You all can use jutsu just don’t be seen by anyone. Everyone got it?” Kakashi was very clear and precise about his plan.
Everyone said, “Yes.”
ShrunkenCheese’s group dropped down to the forest floor, while Faia’s group went higher.
“All right guys lets do this.” Kakashi started to go faster know as if to get a lead on everyone.
Several hours had gone bye and everyone was ready for a small break. Kakashi didn’t think it was time and pressed everyone further. Obito and Shrunkencheese stopped abruptly.
Kakashi put his hand up and stopped everyone else. “What is it you two? We need to keep moving.”
Obito looked down at Shrunkencheese, then he looked up at Faia. “Did you feel that?”
Kakashi stopped thinking for a second. “Silvercloud Byakugan know!”
“Right… BYAKUGAN!” Silvercloud started to look around with her Byakugan, “Kakashi. Something is up ahead but I can’t figure out what it is. Also there is another group coming from all sides of us. No matter what were going to get caught. We need to stop and hide know!”
“Eeh. Fine let’s start-getting traps together. We need to make it hard for them and maybe we might make it out safe.” Everyone broke and started to get small traps set. Obito and Kakashi put some of their bones under some of the bushes and sticking out of the trees. Shrunkencheese started looking for the best spot to hide, he was hoping if needed to have a good spot to extend his shadow and trap people in it. Faia did several hand signs. She placed her hand on the ground and walls of trees sprouted up. Crim took several trees, cut them and then strapped them up in the trees. He lined the forest floor with a strong twine, that way if one of the Genin stepped into it they would be hit with a log. Icehaze and Hosh-Pak on the other hand started to talk for a second, they were from the same clan. They came from the Hyouton clan, the clan that manipulates ice and water. They found a stream near by, and then grabbed water from it. The went back to the other guys and poured the water all over the ground.
Silvercloud looked over at Kakashi, “There coming we need to hide!”
Everyone separated into anywhere they could to hide. Obito and Kakashi hid inside a multiple layer rock set. Silvercloud, Faia, and Icehaze hid behind a few bushes. Shrunkencheese stood under a large and very over grown tree that Faia had created. It had several openings all around it just enough that he could use his shadow. Crim found a good stump to hide next to. Ru and Hosh hid in a large set of vines. They had sat there for about an hour, meaning Silvercloud had been wrong about the group coming.
Kakashi was starting to get up and head out from under the rock pile when he noticed something up in the trees, he duct back down.
Three Genin came down out of the trees. They were from the Village hidden in the Waterfall.
“Hmmm. The genin that made these traps are obviously amateurs.”
One of the Ninja grabbed several Kunai. Kunai are sharp blades that are ment to be thrown. He threw them at the close by twine that Crim had set down. Kakashi flinched; he didn’t know why or how they figured it out so easily. Kakashi looked over at Obito, he whispered to him. “I don’t understand how they found it so easily. This could be a serious problem. Lets signal the others and start this, the only way were getting out of here is attacking these goons. They’re not going to give up until they find us.”
Kakashi then pointed at Icehaze and Hosh-Pak, then he pointed at Shrunkencheese. They all nodded back at him.
Shrunkencheese was the first to make a move. “Ninja Art, Shadow Position Jutsu!” Three black shadows extended from him to the three Ninja.
Hosh and Icehaze nodded to each other, “Secret Ninja Jutsu, Crystal Ice mirrors!” The water they had poured down started to form into large flat squares of that looked like mirror
The ninja looked up. “What the hell. You guys get out of the way.” All the ninja jumped into the air just missing the shadow position. But even getting out of ShrunkenCheese’s shadow position they couldn’t get out of the blockade of mirrors around them. Hosh and Ice entered a mirror closest to them.
“You genin are to young to have entered this exam, and you will not last here with us three. Ok lets do it guys.”
Because the jutsu that Hosh and Ice were using, at such a young age they couldn’t keep it up for to long, but to make maters worse the mirrors were not strong.
One of the ninja took out several items from his pocket. They all looked like parchments of paper.
Kakashi yelled to Hosh and Ice, “Get out of there he has Exploding Notes.”
The ninja ran up and down the mirrors placing the paper notes to the mirrors, only seconds later the notes exploded destroying the mirrors.
“Well Hosh, it was a good run but I don’t think these will do, but there’s still plenty of water on the ground.” Hosh-Pak did another hand sign, “Secret Jutsu, Vine Water Jutsu. Know take this!” He placed his hand on the ground, the water sitting on the ground started to group together. They then slowly crept along the ground, but suddenly they weren’t creeping, they shot into the air and at one of the ninja. It swept him off the ground and knocked him into a tree not to far behind him. One of the other ninja tried to stop the vine but couldn’t.
The other ninja didn’t know what to do. He reached into his pouch and grabbed a guard from inside it. “I shouldn’t do this because of the consciences but at this point I have no choice. The Hero water is the only way.” He opened the guard and took several large swigs of the water. He stood up and then looked really sick, he almost fell on the ground from being so sick. He then looked fine, but there was something different, chakra was flowing around him know. “Its your tern to feel pain.”
He reached behind him and grabbed a scroll from a back pouch. He placed it in both of his hands and made several hand signs. He placed the scroll on the ground and opened it up. There were six umbrellas that appeared in it. He grabbed them on at a time and threw them into the air.
“Know this should be fun. Needles of death!” Thousands of needles appeared and started to fly down at them. Hosh-Pak released his grip on the ninja and used the water left to protect himself and Icehaze. Silvercloud had no choice but to jump behind a tree grabbing Faia as well. Ru and Crim were able to dodge behind a rock. But Obito and Kakashi were left.
“Kakashi move for a second.” Obito was using the Sharingan. Kakashi did the same. Obito made several hand signs. “A blue light came from his hand and a screeching sound almost like chirps came with it. “I haven’t perfected this attack by far but thankfully when you were knocked out back at Hidden Lighting Kakashi, Kenshin taught me this. CHIDORI!” He placed his hand out right before getting hit with a bunch of needles. The blue light swallowed each of the needles.
Kakashi was able to copy the attack, but he wasn’t willing to try it. Shrunkencheese also copied the attack.
Kakashi stood up when the needles stopped spraying everywhere. “There’s something different about these guys that were not seeing, I don’t think we have a chance to beat them. Shrunkencheese, its time you use your new technique that you and Crim have been practicing. It’s the only thing that might help at this point without me having to use my other jutsu.”
“All right Kakashi I guess. Shadow clone Jutsu!” He created ten clones that were now standing a perimeter around everyone. Cheese was in the middle of them. “Know this is going to take help from us all so get ready. This attack is something I made up and it’s going to wear me out fast. Ninja Art, Darkness Position Jutsu!” His body know had ten shadows extending from it. The shadow clones did the exact same thing but only had three shadows extending from them. ShrunkenCheese’s shadow attached to his clones and the clones attached there’s back at him and the clones closest to them, creating a perfect circle.
The forest floor turned black from his shadow, then a wall slowly crept up behind each shadow clan and then attached at the top. It then closed at the top. Everyone was surrounded by the dark.
“This jutsu is one hundred percent indestructible unless you can kill all my clones or me. As long as a clone is still alive it can hold this barrier up as long as it needs too. Know to do that next part. My clones can go on the attack along with me, and to make it worse it looks like day to us in here. So I can see you!” He smiled.
“This is a crappy jutsu. I can get past this pretty fast.” The ninja that drank the hero water looked around him. “I got an idea guys just go with me!” The two ninja grabbed several small weapons just to protect the ninja for a few seconds. He pressed his fingers together and started to focus energy into his throat. A light was coming from in his mouth know. It rose out of his mouth and up a bit higher then there heads. “Dark Arts, Moon jutsu.”
At the top of ShrunkenCheese’s jutsu was what looked to be like a Small Full moon.
Kakashi looked around and saw almost everything but with a bit of trouble doing so, he then looked at ShrunkenCheese. “You just sit this out for know and keep the barrier up. As long as its up they can leave. We can handle the dirty work.” He smiled. “Alright everyone. LETS DOT IT!”
