Jakku was free.... The only irk I have is that is completely screwed w/ matchmaking. AND WHY IS IT NOT STANDARD NOW?! They seriously need to have it as a mandatory update or something.

Sorry but Jakku was not free DLC, it was a scam to get people to pre-order the game, evidenced by the fact that people who pre-ordered got it day 1 while everyone else had to wait a week. It was finished on day 1 and should've been already in the game, but they held it back for a week to try to make more money, because that's EA for you.

It was still a free scam, and a fun one at that.

most games coming out have DLC now days. Kind of a fact. (Keep in mind i didn't say all). The other 2 came out for ps2, DLC was buying a hard copy of the expansion back then lol. I don't even remember if they had expansion tbh.

So this should not come as tooooooo much of a surprise to you guys.

The leveling does suck. I hate being limited in weapons when others are using jet packs and have obvious unfair advantages compared to new players.

The game definitely isn't bad. I just think everyone was expecting more of the OLD bf with newer graphics and their old features being updated.

Let's cross our fingers that someone will eventually make a game as awesome as jko and jka with strong saber fights and a way to build a strong friendly community like we see here.

Even my favourite MMO does that right now. But still, EA does it every single time lol.

It's hardly a surprise, everyone is just disgusted and fed up with ridiculous business practices by EA and other game companies. If we just keep buying their overpriced and underdelivered games, then they will just keep pushing out more and more of the same.

The fact is that with the way video-game companies work anymore, it's going to be impossible to have a game that we'll all consider good without having to invest more money than we already paid into it. The days of games like Battlefront 2, KOTOR 1/2, Jedi Academy, or even Bounty Hunter are gone. That's not the way these companies work anymore. They just want the quick buck out of it and then they're done. There's hardly any desire to produce something of quality anymore
