it will take ALOT of getting used to. first impressions... i dont like it. just looks like im using a magnifying glass here. its not that i dont like change, i do, this template just seems confusing and less user friendly.

So different will really take some getting used to, otherwise thanks pho for the update. 
It will be interesting….. definitely gonna have to get used to it. I like the new-ness of it, but now I have to find everything again…. though I think I may enjoy the [Flash] option.

On topic: It's harder to know when there's a new post/topic, I liked the golden look on a thread/topic instead of going to http://www.knights-reborn.org/forum/sea ... d=newposts every time I want to see what's new.
I'm sorry to say, but I don't like it all that much.
I agree with Fraea in that everything is a little too big when you're looking through just one topic. If we can move everyone's profile to the left side instead of the right, that will definitely be an improvement. I can get used to the handling of it over time.
However the theme I think is what kills it for me. This is way too bright compared to what I'm accustomed to with viewing the KR website. However I think we should re-think the Theme a bit and use something a bit more appropriate to Star Wars, or even something just custom created to fit KR.

This theme was selected initially as it supports mobile devices too. Please feel free to look around the themes for a phpBB and see what you feel would suit. Note also we don't want overly dark colours, but that doesn't mean we want it to glow either.
After coming back and forth to it since yesterday, I have began to like this layout more and more. It's still easy to find new post, the stickies are separated from the normal post, and the avatars being on the right isn't as bad as I thought, It's kinda like reading a letter. My intake is that people got too used to the smaller frames and colours distribution. This theme has more high-tech feel to it, but most importantly it feels vast and unusual (After the years with the previous theme, can't be helped). The good thing about it is that things seem to be easier to find and there's no overload of loading/information because of the raise in simplicity. What I don't like is the overall brightness/gamma/contrast ratio (and with the colors chosen for such a background). I know it's duller than it could be, but I still find it pretty straining on the eyes.

there's also an issue with the PMs that i brought up with Pho. i don't know if he's had a chance to look at it, but my Inbox is locked/protected in some way. none of the commands to delete messages, move them, etc... work. and my PM inbox is full... so i can't receive any new ones. i had to create a whole new folder and redirect new messages into that when the inbox gets full, which is less than ideal.

As a matter of fact I have had the exact same problem as Goll here. I have these odd letters and symbols besieging my head with confusion and I had to conduct an FBI full investigation just to find this topic 
However I have only seen this on my mobile device. I hope Goll can gather the evidence cuz I don't know how xD

I was referring to going on the forum from my android. I'm simply unable to go into threads, however I can only see the things on -> this <-page and I can't go into anything else, that's all.
Is it just me or are other people having this problem by visiting from a mobile device?
