[Hime]

He docks his ship back at the Academy. Kenshin is already waiting for him at the exit. As Starcomand exits the Nexus Max, kane is already waiting for him. He takes Starcomand and Kenshin to see Raven’s message. Both of them are rather shocked to see the message.
“So, they time of war has come again.” Kenshin says.
“Not really a war, more like stopping an invasion. Not some meaningless battle.’ Starcomand says.
“I have studied well in my history classes. I do know that Spike, Gotenks, and Justin are the three that created most problems. Justin and Gotenks killed Master Dnager as well.” Kenshin says.
“Right, go and have some rest. I will send someone to inform you when we are taking off.” Starcomand says. Kenshin then returns to his chamber. On his way, he sees Silvercloud. He wants to call her but he is too far away. He then speeds up to catches up with her. Silvercloud takes a right turn in the academy and walks into a room. It is the room which honors the fallen during the last war. Kenshin walks in to the room. This is not his first time here anyways. The first time he was here when he was still a student. The instructor during that time, Ronin, took the entire class into this room and introduced the fallen heroes and heroines. It was that day he got to know his idols. There are head statues of heroes and heroines. But then, there is a full body statue of two people that caught his eyes: Kagetsuki and HIME. The two statues were placed in separate chambers. Right now, Silvercloud is in the chamber of HIME. She is staring at HIME’s statue.
“So, you are here again?” Kenshin asks.
“So, it appears I have a stalker.” Silvercloud answers.
“What are you talking about? Who has free time to stalk you anyways? I am just surprised that you always visit this room. It’s like you are here once a day or when you have free time or something.”
“Do you see that picture over there? The one stands two people across her. That’s me. That was taken two months before the end of the war. It was when she was ordered to go that cursed planet. I was on the same ship she was on.”
“You………missed her huh?”
“She always has this emotionless look on her face. It is nothing can ever strike her heart. Then again, she has a different look when she engages in battle……” Silvercloud’s voice becomes clouded at this point.
“I am sorry. She was a different kind of person wasn’t she? She was the famous hybrid after all.”
“You have no idea. Everyone saw her as the hybrid. How she comes to this place is already a great mystery. No one can understand how she lived her life in the academy.”
“I know. She was framed for her master’s murder. She was looked as the hybrid. But look at it this way, she is a heroine now. See, she even got her own room in the hall of heroes.”
Silvercloud stares at Kenshin and looks away once again.
“You fool……..you are like the others. You have no idea. You do not know what is like if you feel everyone in this universe is against you. You have no idea what’s it like to be an outcast. You do not know what it like is to be rejected by everyone you know.”
“Of course I don’t. Unlike you, I never fought by her side. Nor I got to see how she lived. You and some other KRs are the living history during that time.”
“Okay, enough of that……..why are you looking for me?”
“We need you to go with us on a mission.”
“What? I haven't been using my lightsaber for a long time now. Plus, my strength is at Medical Science.”
“That is why we need you.”
“What? There are other good doctors around here. Plus, I have to look after the medical sector. You of all people should know I am the head medical officer around here!”
“Well, you are the top specialist on toxins. To be honest, Ronin has been poison by unknown toxins during this mission. According to Fluffy, you are needed to go to Shinshen as well. Who knows what kind of things you will discover? Plus, Shinshen is being invaded as we speak, there will be many wounded. We need some one like you there.”
“You have learned to speak like Ronin. I see, I will go see Fluffy myself to get more info. Meanwhile, you should go get some rest. It seems you are going on this rider after all.” Silvercloud says. Kenshin nods and walks away.
“Well, I guess I get to see one of those unfamiliar sights again. But this time, I guess I go without you.” Silvercloud says as she sighs. Silvercloud then walks over to Fluffy’s chamber. Fluffy shows Raven’s message.
“I guess, I really need to go this time.” Silvercloud says.
Starcomand decided since there isn’t enough time, the Nexus Max will move before the other fleet. Starcomand decided his own fleet would be enough to hold off the Blood Hounds for a little while. He put kenshin, Silvercloud, Darkenss, Hosh-pak, and ShrunkenCheese on his ship. Phoenix will lead the next fleet as support. The next day, Starcomand’s fleet has launched. Not only the Nexus Max, but also one of KR’s most powerful battle cruisers “Hikari” is also going with Nexus Max as well. On board of the “Hikari” is Silvercloud, ShrunkenCheesen and Darkenss. The “Hikari” is famous for its job as a medical ship. It is also a deadly battle cruiser when in battle mode. Silvercloud is the Captain of this ship. During the last war, Silvercloud commanded this ship before as medical support. She is also good at space battle tactics. That is why everyone is relieved when they heard Silvercloud is going to be the Captain of this ship.
“Ahh……great to be back on this seat.” Silvercloud says. At this time Starcomand’s face appears on screen.
“I know you are greating good, it is going to be like old times again!”
“So, what’s the formation at this time?”
“My ship will be in front. As usual, your ship is going be in the middle in order to avoid battles and what so ever.”
“You do know I am quite experienced in space battle.”
“CORRECTION! You are VERY experienced, but still your role in this mission is still as a medical officer. Just be prepare your temporary hospital alright?”
“Roger that! Hikari, beginning launching sequence!” Silvercloud says.
“Launching permission granted. May the force be with you.” Fluffy says on screen.
“May the force be with you!” Starcomand and Silvercloud both say. Then the two ships and their fleet launches towards Shinshen.
“So….it has begun….” Newsie says.

Back on Shinshen, Loking and the others are preparing to leave the orphanage after the KRs left. It was Nako and Loking’s decision to leave this place because this orphanage is an empty shell now. There is no life, no happiness inside it.
“So, where do we go from now on?” Blade asks.
“We need to head to the local shelters to put Kurino to safety. Then we will decide from there.” Nako says.
“Big sister Nako, are you going away? Are you leaving Kurino? I don’t want that!” Kurino says with a sad face.
“No. no, no. Big sister will not do that. But we do need to go something so the bad people will not be able to find us.” Nako answers. Kurino smiles when she hears that. Nako and Loking hold Kurino’s hands and the five begin their journey to the nearest shelter. In order to go to the shelters, they need to past through a big forest in the mountains. Luckily, Blade and Chantelle brought their speeder along so they don’t need to walk. The journey is a happy one despite the grief situation. In the speeder, Blade is driving. Nako and Chantelle are playing with Kurino. Loking is meditating. Suddenly Loking opens his eyes and runs towards where Blade is.
“Something’s wrong, everyone get down!” Loking yells. Just then the windows of the speeders are broken by a bunch of blaster shots.
“Curse those Blood Hounds, they are still here! The plan did not work as well as we planned.” Chantelle says. Their plan is this: the KRs are supposed to leave the orphanage in order to draw the Blood Hounds attention so that Loking and the others can leave later in safety. What they didn’t expect is that there are still a handful of troops waiting for them. They are shooting at the speeder at all sides. Blade is trying his best to drive this speeder of his. But it is rather hard to drive when you have your head down.
“This speeder is not built for taking this kind of abuse. Blade, go into full speed and get us out of here!” Chantelle says.
“NO, wait!!” Nako yells. But it is too late, Blade already uses full speed. That gets then away from the blasters but then there are some troopers walk out to the main road and take aim at the speeder.
“Are they crazy? They will be run over at this point!” Blade says. However, when Blade takes a good look, those troopers are holding rocket launchers.
“Chantelle! Incoming!!” Blade screams. Chantelle then rushes to the front. As soon as Chantelle reaches the front, there are a number of rockets are already heading their way. Chantelle then stretches out her hand pushes two rockets towards other rockets. A huge explosion occurs in front of them. The Speeder goes the smoke and moves on. Blade just doesn’t care anymore and runs over those troopers. Everyone in the speeder just screams.
“This is too exciting for me!!!” Nako screams.
“Ahhh….I think we have company behind us.” Loking says. Chantelle takes a look and sees the Blood Hounds are chasing them from behind. They are all on speeders.
“Great, we got ourselves some devoted fans. I will try to shake them off.” Blade says.
It doesn’t take long until the speeder starting to give up. There are just too many places that are heavily damaged.
“Blast!!!! This thing is beginning to slow down.” Blade says.
“Yea….BECAUSE WE ARE LEAKING FUEL AS WE SPEAK!!!!” Chantelle yells.
“I guess it maybe a good idea for us to do this.” Loking says.
The troopers then switch to using the concussion blaster. It only takes a few shoots to stop the Speeder. The troopers stop and walk over to the speeder. They cannot get too close because the speeder is on fire. They secured a perimeter and engage. Suddenly, the speeder explodes and kills everyone around it. Then, there is nothing left but smoke and scrap metal.

“HA…. We got those guys good this time.” Blade says. The group managed to jump out from the side when the side is on fire and smoke comes out. They snuck out by using the smoke as cover. The group made it to safety and quickly hide themselves. Blade uses his remote control to slow his speeder down and eventually lure those troopers into a deadly trap.
“Now, where do we go?” Chantelle asks.
“There is un underground tunnel straight up ahead. That will lead us all the way across this region and gets us to the shelter. But keep in mind; it is going to be dark in there.” Nako says. Chantelle and Blade just stand there.
“What? You two are not afraid of the dark are you?” Kurino asks. The two just shake their heads.
“I had a bad experience with this kind of situation before.” Blade and Chantelle say to Nako softy.
“Cry me a river.” Nako just answers with a cold expression on her face. CHantelle just smiles.
“I hate you.”
“I know.”
The five go into the cave and start their underground journey.
“Yes, it is dark alright.” Blade says.
“What? You afraid?” Kurino says.
“YOU BRAT!!”
“Big sister Nako, he calls me a brat!”
“BLADE!!”
“Sorry.”
Loking is in front, Nako and Kurino right behind him. Then comes Chantelle, Blade stays as rear guard. Loking just uses his sense to lead everyone around. He knows this underground tunnel has around 457 turns. One wrong move and you are stuck here forever. That’s not a problem for Loking. When he first visited this tunnel, he planed spent six months to explore every single bit of this passage. But then, he got lost inside and spent eight months down there. That scared Nako half to death. Loking never forget that slap Nako gave him when he first got out from that passage. It is because of he had spent eight months; Loking knows every single thing about this passage. For the Blood Hounds, it is not hard for them to track them to the cave. They follow in to search for Loking and the others.
“Well, they are surely asking for it.” Loking says.
“Why?” Chantelle asks.
“Let me tell you something: We are not alone in this passage.”
“I know that…..I can sense that they are following us.”
“That’s not what Loking meant. What he is trying to say is that there are creatures that made their homes here.” Nako explains.
“And if someone ruins their home, man, aren’t they in for it.”
“That means……this place is dangerous?”
“What do you think?”
Then there is that dead silence. No one knows how much time has passed since they have entered the underground passage. They just keep walking and walking. There is nothing but darkness around.

“Alright!! We fooled the guards and almost everything. Where are we going now? We are taking a tour or something?”
“Martin, this is called “Try to look normal” tactics. We got to act like these troopers in order to mix in. Besides, we all need to enter this flagship in order to either slow it down or blow it up.”
“You sure we are not going to get sliced by our own team or something?”
“What are the chances of having our own team inside that thing anyways? For all I know the Commander of this sector is called Keroberos. It is not likely that he knows anything about us being here.”
The two walk pass the guards with ease. Then mind trick a fee people to open doors and to get themselves through some areas. The problem is they do not have a map of this type of ship.
“Good job, moving inside but do not know where to go!!”
“Sparky, if all you are is complaining and complaining, why don’t you try and lead us to the core room then?”
“Fine….I WILL!!!”
As the two moves to the lower part of the ship, they suddenly feel a string presence of force users. They felt that, there are more than two of them there. The two then get their guard up and prepare for anything that comes out. They turn a corner and suddenly a lightsaber slashes in front of them. Sparky and Martin jumps backwards. Two force users steps out from the corner. They have their saber ignited. Martin and Sparky take a good and are very much surprised.
“YOU! Lessa! What are you doing here?” Sparky asks
“How do you know me? You are you two?” Lessa asks as she approaches the two. Just then, EvilIvy and Kakshi jumps out behind Lessa and start attacking.
“WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT DISGUISE? IT IS A BAD IDEA!!” Martin screams. Sparky jumps up and blocks the two attacks. EvilIvy and Kakashi land on the ground in amazement.
“How did you…..wait……are you Stump’s men or something?” Kakashi asks.
Sparky doesn’t answer. He just takes off his helmet and mask. Then all confusions are clear.
“Lessa, what happened? Why are you all here?” Martin asks.
“It is a long story. We were captured and sent here by Keroberos. But then Kakashi here managed to get away and got us out.” Lessa says.
“Great….let’s get out of here! Wait…where is Ronin?” Sparky asks.
“He was poisoned by Stump’s paddy. Now, Rage is looking after him. Our task right now is to free the other hostages, or we can try take over this ship.” Lessa answers.
“Whoa, you mean Stump switched sides and he has a paddy? I must be missing a lot of good parts then. How bad is Ronin’s situation?”
“It is very bad. That’s why we are still trying to figure out a way to get him out of the battle field. We cannot get him to take part in any fighting, or the poison will spread through out his system.”
Sparky then thinks for a minute.
“I guess the best option right now is to take over this ship. But then, there are just so few of us and so many of them……..what are we going to do?” Sparky says.
“May be we don’t need to capture this entire ship. You do know every ship has Escape Pods right?” Martin says.
“But then these pods can only be released during dire moments. Wait, don’t tell me you people are going to….” Kakashi says.
“Right, then again, there are other captives here. They are just children. There are many of them not to mention. Escaping with them can be very hard.” EvilIvy says.
“How about this?......We go search for the children. I am going to stay here with Lessa and the others to find away to get out of this ship. Kakashi, take these clothes and ID and go with Martin to search for the other captives. The Knight Riders are outside, maybe……if we can bow holes on this ship and get Urataros and Garren to fly them out……that is doable right?” Sparky says. Everyone nods.
“Alright, let’s get to work!” Kakashi says.
Sparky then turn on his transmitter, he puts it on a channel only the Knight Riders uses. Urataros’s image comes up.
“So, you two are alive! I was looking for your bodies back there. Where did you go? I feel real vored as I keep stinging people all around me.” Urataros says as he finishes clearing troopers in where Sparky and Martin originally were before they head into the ship.
“Err…Urataros…..we need you help……this is the situation right now…..can you help?” Sparky says as he told Urataros everything.
“Ummm….captives, may be it is time I can be a hero. I like it. But you people do need some distraction though. I will provide that for you. Just keep to your plan; I will come as soon as possible!” Urataros says. At that time, Garren lands beside Urataros.
“Garren, maybe WE get to do something exciting for once!”
“I don’t like the sound of you saying that…….”

Starcomand and the others are still traveling to Shinshen at the moment. Silvercloud is still preparing the hospital. Kenshin is enjoying the peace and quiet of space. Hosh-pak enters and finds Kenshin is daydreaming.
“It is the time to fight again. And I was thinking I get to enjoy the peace and quiet of space. How did she feel when she was going into battle?”
“Who? Do you mean Silvercloud? She is fine. Don’t worry about her. She is one of the survivors of the war if you recalled.”
“No, Silvercloud wasn’t the person I had in mind.”
“Then who is this “her” then?”
“The hybrid.”
“Oh….her. I don’t know. Why don’t you ask Silvercloud or Starcomand then? I heard that Starcomand was one of the masters that took part in the Battle of Banisher. He should know.”
“Well, nevermind………I am just wondering anyways. You know there are not many hybrids going around. I just wonder……what’s it like to train with one and to fight alongside with one.”
“I am fine as long as I am not fighting against one.”
“Another thing: Why did SIlvercloud want to a medical officer? With her experience and skills she can be an instructor or some other high ranking position.”
“Kenshin, who do you think I am? I am not that all know you know!”
“Sorry.”
The journey just goes on and on.

“WOO…..we are finally out of that blasted passage!!”
“Chantelle!! You are full of dirt!”
“Nako!! So are you!! And Kurino too!”
“HAHAHAHA”
Loking and the others finally made it out from the underground passage. To make things safe, Loking put a holograph projector in order to conceal the cave. Now they are very close to the city and the shelter. Then again, walking to the city takes much longer than taking a speeder. More over, with Kurino walking together, the speeder just gets slower and slower. As they are moving closer to the city, the sound of explosion and the sight of everything is burnt are often seen. Blade and Chantelle just sighs. Nako has this expression on her face.
“What is it? Are you starting to regret that you wished that you will never have to fight again?” Loking get close to Nako and asks.
“I don’t know. I just…..really want to do something.” Nako says.
“But you do know…….your oath.”
“Yes……but then you do know I already jumped into action once.”
“Yes…you did. It was a good thing those busjackers believed your act.”
Nako just smiles. As they are walking, they find a number of dead bodies of the local military. Blade and Chantelle took their weapons and armor away. They put the armor on Kurino and Nako.
“It is best not to put on the helmet. We do not want her to a walking target.” Balde says.
“But protecting the head is an important thing though. What happens if someone blows up something and then hits Kurino?” Nako asks. Everyone agrees and they have decided to keep Kurino in the middle as they move along. Their journey continues.

“WHAT!! You sure about what you saw back there?”
“Yes Commander Stump! I know….it was one person, then he became huge and grows spikes on his arm and back……..it was frightening.” Uriyao says.
“KEROBEROS!!!! How dare he come meddle in my business!!!!”
“Master, how can you be sure it is the doing of Commander Keroberos?” SPyder asks.
“Don’t you know, Kerobero’s department is something called “Force-evolution” team or something like of the sort? It was created in order to counter force users. Since the force is a mysterious weapon that not everyone can use. They turned to meddle with DNAs. Under that cursed Commander Keroberos, you do get to see real monsters. His agents were all subjected to DNA enhancement.”
“So, they are part man, part beast?”
“I will not put it that way. But I know that these are worthless scum of this universe tried to prove that they can defeat the power of the force by science. I will show that idiot who is the supreme one around here!!!”
As Stump is still drowning in his grand dream, a trooper comes to him.
“Commander, sorry to interrupt you during your…..meditations…..but I have bring news.”
“Speak.”
“We have found two force users accompanying a family that consists of three people.”
“Three people and two force users?”
“Yes Commander, and one of them we identified as the one who fought you with the paper fan. I mean….the care taker of the orphanage……he is with them.”
Stump’s eyes are wide opened as he heard this.
“WE are going after them.”
“But sir, they are only a few people. The KRs are head in the other way……..our objective here is to….”
Stump ignites his saber and slices off the trooper’s head before the trooper can even finish his sentence.
“Who told you to talk? I am going to pay that bastard a visit and pay him back the insult he gave to me ten fold…..no a hundred times more!!!”
“Master, why don’t you just kill all of them? Or we can capture one of his friends or any weak ones and force him to do our bidding?”
“Good idea Spyder! I like your plan! Remember we are the Noble Jedi!! It doesn’t matter how we treat our enemies, especially those who insulted us!!”
“Yes master…..I will capture the lady or the little brat to force that care take to die by your hands.” Spyder says as he goes and prepare. Stump just stands there and smiles.

“So, before Stump’s men attacked you. Someone appears and instantly grows into a huge body and smash people around?”
“Yes Sparky. It is so weird. These people who captured us……they seem they have gone through some sort of DNA alteration treatment.”
“That is highly possible Lessa. Think about this……they have to turn to something like that in order to counter someone like us. That doesn’t sound surprising at all. What I am surprised is that someone will actually willing to go through such treatments.”
EvilIvy and Rage are checking the surroundings to see if anyone is coming. Everyone is waiting for Martin and Kakashi to create chaos in the ship. Meanwhile, Garren and Uratoaros are flying in front of the ship in order to get the Blood Hound’s attention. It only takes one shoot from Garren’s saber/blaster to get their attention. Right now, they are flying and dodging any in coming attacks and get ready for any jetpack troopers.
“Urataros!! I knew this was a bad idea. Why did I have to go along with your plan? This is nuts!”
“But aren’t this fun? We are the one who do not know when to stop right? The plan is going to work! Just a bit longer!!”
Martin and kakashi are both at the core room. As they enter they see an officer standing in there.
“I knew the force users will escape and come here!! That’s why I am waiting for you.” The officer says as Martin and Kakashi witness the officer’s arm becomes bigger and bigger.
“I do hope you two force users can entertain me just for a little while. To be honest, this is my first time fighting a force user with actual sabers.” The officer says as his body is changing. Now his size is much bigger than Martin and Kakashi. Bones became spikes and are sticking from his arms and his back.
“I knew I have to get into some action.” Martin says.
“Master Martin, I suggest you leave this to me.” Kakashi says as he ignites his dual saber.
“You sure?”
“Oh yea…..we do not have much time and I just want to fight this guy.”
Martin nods as he runs off. That officer just charges towards Martin in order to block his way. But then a kick lands on that officer’s face a force him back.
“Your enemy is me!” Kakashi says as he lands on the floor.

Loking and the group finally reached the city. It is not surprise to see the streets are empty and things are burning.
“This used to fill with living people around. Now…..” Nako says as she sighs.
“It will go back to its original state once the riders and the KRs have driven those people away.” Loking says. Kurino just hold Nako’s hands tighter. The five of them just move to search for the nearest shelter. On the way, the group runs into some other town folks whoa re searching for shelter too.
“What happened? Do you know where the nearest shelter is?” Loking asks.
“What are you talking about? The shelters are full! The city, no, the entire planet is under siege!! Don’t you read the news?” one of the escaping town folks says.
“Do you know any other shelters near by?” Nako asks.
“Yes, there is one 30 miles away west away from here. We are heading there right now!” the town folk says. Loking look at him and smiles.
“Alright, we will be on our way.”
After the town folks ran away, Loking direct the group to walk east.
“Loking, he said west though. Why are we going east?” Blade asks
“Didn’t you notice that person was lying? Think about it, if this shelter here is full, then he and his group needs to get to the next shelter. There are other possibilities that other shelters are full as well. He needs to lie to us in order to survive.”
“Sad.” Chantelle says.
“Well, it is war. When there is destruction at this scale. It damages human conscience as well. That’s a fact whether you like it or not.” Nako says. Suddenly Blade and Chantelle stops. They push Loking and Nako behind.
“Look out!” Blade says as he stretches out his palm. When Nako looks up, she sees Blade is trying to push three rockets back. Chantelle is helping Blade to do so. Loking then pulls Nako away from the two.
“GO!!! We can handle things here!!” Chantelle says. Loking and Nako nods and takes Kurino with them and run.
“Capture the kid!” SPyder’s voice sounds out from afar.
“How underhanded!! Stim-boy is aiming for the kid!!!” Blade says after Chantelle helped him to oush back those rockets. The two jumps and slice a few troopers, but then Uriyao leads another group of men out and keep Blade and Chantelle from getting to where Loking and Nako are. In the meantime, Spyder and Stump lead the rest of the unit to chase after Loking and Nako.
“I am going to get you now, paper fan bastard!!” Stump says.
Remember, capture the child and those two will be our captives in no time. NOW MOVE!!” Spyder yells. Spyder then uses force speed to run ahead in hopes of capturing Kurino. The problem is, Spyder is not familiar with the ground around him. Loking takes that as his advantage and sneaks into the mountains with Nako.
“That’s it! I am going to let loose!” Chantelle says as he unleashes her lightsaber whip and swing it around like crazy. Blade gets out of the way and starts unleashing his skills too!! Those troopers are very clever; they always run far away to get the two force users to chase after them. Once they are going back for Nako and Loking, Uriyao’s troopers will keep the two busy by firing their blasters at them. That plan worked well. Chantelle and Blade cannot go back to Loking and Nako.
“Come on, faster! Help is going to be here very soon!” Nako says to Kurino. Kurino is trying her best to keep up. Nako sees that Kurino cannot run any faster, so she decided to carry Kurino with her. Loking and Nako switches turns to carry Kurino in their escape. They use the terrain as their advantage and manage to get away from Stump and Spyder for a while.
“Why are they after us?” Nako asks.
“Probably because of my little stunt back when he was fighting Nintendo.”
“Who told you to show your strength?”
“Well, who told you to stand in front of Nintnedo? Of course I will get for anyone who hits the person I…..”
“NOW it’s not the time!!”
Just then, a concussion rifle blast lands somewhere behind them. That launches Loking and Nako into the sky in different directions. Since Nako is holding on to Kurino so the two land together.
“That’s even better!!! Capture the lady and the child. Then we can force that paper fan bastard to surrender! He is going to have a slow death!!!” Spyder screams. Nako gets up and takes Kurino with her and runs into the forest. She does not where Loking it, but she knows if she and Kurino got captured, Loking is in big trouble.
“Don’t die Loking!!” Nako says as she carries Kurino and runs. Loking falls on the ground but quickly gets up. He sees some troopers are coming for him. He then duck and sneak around. Since the surrounding area is filled with tall grass. Loking has no problem going through them. He sneaks towards one unlucky trooper and knocks him out. Likign then takes the rifle and some bombs.
“Counter attack time. Please be alright……Nako.” Loking says. Just then, he sees Stump is somewhere near by. He then plant some bombs on the ground and as he is forming his battle plan.
Nako is being chased by troopers and Spyder. They are shooting at her. Luckily there are lot of tall and old trees round. These big trees are thousands of years old. They all act as shield for Nako and Kurino.
“Damnit!! What are you maggots doing? Shot them!! Shot them!!” Spyder screams as he ignites his saber to go after them.
“There you are! I have you now!” Stump says as he charges towards Loking. Loking just duck back into the tall grass. Stump just charges into the field and Loking is nowhere to be seen. Just then, he sees Loking appears in front of him. His hand is holding some sort of device. Stump takes a long and grasps as he tries to go back.
“Too late.” Loking says as he presses a button on his device. Then there are lots of explosions occurring besides Stump. Loking planted those bombs and lure Stump towards him. Since not many people can see very clearly in a fielf of tall grass, so Loking manages to get to a safe distance from Stump. Also Loking just dug up some ground to make like he planted some bombs around him for Stump to take the bait. Right now, Stump is running away from the explosions that are chasing him. Loking doesn’t say a word as he tries to find Nako. That because there is no one more important to him than Nako. He also knows that Nako is worried about him. As he dashes he finds there are just too many troopers for him to get through. Stump just takes that chance to meet up with his padawan.
“Keep him in the field!! He is not a threat as long as we have him contained!! He is nothing but one man!!” Stump screams in tones of victory.
“Is that so?” a voice suddenly comes. Then something just drops down from the sky. A shockwave is created when it lands which send troopers flying in different directions. When the smoke clears, Stump and Spyder see a figure in gray hood and robe. The figure is also carrying a huge lightsaber scythe. Under that robe, it shows the figure’s pitch black and silver armor. The figure is wearing a black helmet with red visor. The figure points at Stump and his men.
“So, who wants a hair cut? I am planning for a harvest!!!” the figure says.

“What are you doing? FIRE! FIRE!!” Spyder screams. The troopers start getting into action. The figure just stands there and let the troopers surround him. As the troopers surround him, the figure just swings his scythe once and then just stands there and whistles. The troopers were startled for a second and take aim; as soon as they take aim, their guns just breaks into pieces.
“What? Who…..who are you?” Spyder asks.
“I don’t like to give my name to people just like that. But, if you want to know……the name is Chalice!” The figure says with a proud expression.
“Didn’t you just give your name?”
“Oh yea…I did. Oh well, now you know who I am. You got a problem with me being well mannered?” Chalice asks.
“That’s not what I meant!!”
“Then what? Oh no! I am rushing against time. You will have to let me pass to that lady who you people were trying to hard to flirt.”
“Flirt? You said we were flirting?”
“Well, if you weren’t flirting, then why did she have to run so far and so fast away from you people?” Chalice asks with a playful tone.
“What are you talking about? We are trying to capture her!!”
“Oh my!! That doesn’t sound nice! Well that’s enough reason for me then.” Chalice says as he fixes his scythe.
“What are you doing? Enough reason for what?”
“For receiving a harvest! Ohhhh….the thought of that just….excites me!!” Chalice says as he charges towards Spyder and Stump. At this time, Loking arrives as well. He sees Chalice fighting Spyder and Stump gets away to chase Nako.
“What are you doing you dope!! Go after him!! I will be okay here!!” Chalice says to Loking. Loking nods as he runs towards the direction where Nako ran as well. Then again, there are still a huge number of troopers in the way.
“Well, just a paper fan is not enough to get me through this mess. Chalice!! Care to give some help here? I got nothing but a paper fan.”
“How bothersome!!” Chalice says as he knocks Spyder on the ground and runs to where Loking is. He then pushes a button on his scythe.
“Lighting Sonic” a voice comes from his scythe. Then there are three more scythes come out. Now the scythe changes into a lance. Chalice then poses a charging post.
“Here we go. You sure you are ready for this?”
“Anytime you are ready.”
Chalice then turns himself into a blink of lighting and charges into the sea of troopers. Loking sees a group of troopers fly into the air and a path has been made. Loking wastes no time and runs through the path and then leaps into the air as the path ends. He then use the trees and its branches as support to jump from tree to tree in order to cover more ground. Right now, the only thing in his mind is Nako’s safety.
Nako and Kurino just manage to gain some distance. She sits down to take a rest with Kurino.
“Big sister, I am scared.”
“It’s alright Kurino. Nothing is going to happen to you as long as we are together.”
“Why are there so many scary man chasing after us?”
“Kurino, there are a lot of things in this world you do not understand at your age right now. Big sister will explain them to you once Kurino is older. Right now, just stay quiet.”
Kurino nods in reply. The two then moves deeper into the woods. Nako is doing everything she can to protect Kurino. Kurino just sleeps on Nako’s back or walks besides Nako.
“Loking…..where are you?” Nako thinks to herself. She takes out the blaster that Blade gave her. She doesn’t want to use it. Just then, she sees couple of troopers is closing on her. She then takes aim and fire on the trees. She manages to break the branches on the trees and make them drop on the troopers’ head. Nako then carries Kurino and go deeper into the forest. As she enter the heart of the forest. She reaches the oldest tree in the forest. The tree is so tall and so big that it takes a long time for a person to get around.
“Oh, great forests! I ask of you to protect us from the evil that is approaching. Oh great forests, protect us with your great power that you use to protect this planet you loved so much. For you are the old ones, for you have seen the passing ages as I had. Hear my prayer. For the time of battle has come again.” Nako kneels down in front of the tree and prays. She unties her hair and let it falls on to her shoulder.
“Now….grant us safe passage…..I ask of you….master of the forest.” Nako says to the tree. There is a quake and a passage shown into front of Nako. Nako smiles
“I thank you once again. Okay, come on Kurino!! Let’s go!!”
Kurino nods and go. Loking is still leaping from tree to tree. He is catching up with Stump. Stump looks back and he is shocked to find Loking is coming after him with such high speed just by leaping from tree to tree.
“You paper fan bastard!!” Stump says as he fires his blaster at Loking. Loking just throws his paper fan and knocks Stump’s blaster on the ground. Stump grunts and keep on running.
“Why won’t you DIE!!!” Spyder screams as he is trying his best to hit Chalice.
“That’s not a very pretty thought. I still have many things that I want to do. I don’t want to die that soon and young! You should calm down a bit too. Too much rage can kill a person.” Chalice says as he is dodging Spyder’s attacks. Spyder just gets mad and injects himself with more of those serums.
“By the force….this is the 15th serum you have injected yourself with. How much more do you need in order to land a hit on me like this?” Chalices as he suddenly swings his scythe and hit Spyder on the waist. That hit didn’t kill him because Chalice hit him with the pole part, not the balde. Then again, such a hit launch Spyder flying into the forest.
“OH DANG IT!! I messed up!! Loking is not going to be happy about this……” Chalice says as he jumps into the forest.
“Wind Roller!!” Chalice says. Then a set of wheels appear under Chalice’s boots. Then he leaps into the air and glide in the air. It is like doing roller blade in midair. Winder Roller’s speed can actually match up with Urataros borad.
Loking is still chasing Stump again when Spyder manages to drop in from the sky. Srump uses that distraction and lost Loking. Spyder gets up and sees Loking is standing in front of him.
“YOU!!” Spyder tries to get up but his body is in massive pain due to the nasty fall he took. Loking just sighs and runs on.
“YEA!! That’s right!! Run away in fear!!” Spyder just screams as he sees Loking ignores him.
“Nako……please…please let nothing happened to her!!” Loking says as he dashes in the forest.
Nako is still running around in the forest in hopes of losing those troopers. Then again there aren’t many places she can run to. She decided to return to the tree and climb up there to hide until Loking gets here. She jumps and stretches her long sleeves as a robe to get Kurino and herself up. Just then, a saber stuff cuts through her sleeve and the two fall down towards the ground. Nako does a back flip and lands on the ground. She looks around and sees Stump and a couple of troopers shows their faces. Nako just points her blaster at Stump. Stump just laughs as he uses force pull to pull away Nako’s blaster.
“Showing your pitiful skills now are you? It is too late for you now. Your care taker isn’t here to save you this time. Now, either you two come with me willingly and quietly or I am forced to drag you with me.”
“Oh…..you actually have enough honors to lay your hands to a little girl and a lady?”
“Shut up!! You people are nothing compared to the likes of me. You should consider this is an honor to know me. But too bad, your friend back there has angered me so ….. No mercy for you!! Men, get her, and do whatever you wish to her and the little girl!” Stump says as he smirks. Those troopers just jumps towards Nako and Kurino. Stumper laughs as the troopers takes action, but suddenly he sees those troopers are flying towards his way. Stump dodges those bodies and ignites his saber. He looks up and sees Nako is letting her long sleeves lying on the ground. One of the troopers gets up capture but is being thrown away as soon as Nako swings her sleeve.
“Maybe….my skills are not as pitiful as you think.” Nako says with a smile.

“Shut your mouth!!” Stump screams as he charges towards Nako. Stump then uses “shadow blade” to attack Nako. Nako just smiles as she jumps back wards and start spinning her body with her long sleeves swinging in the air. She is copying what Loking did on Stump. Nako manages to create a mini-sand storm and throw it against Stump. Hence, Nako broke the “Shadow Blade”. Stump cannot read her movements. It is like she is dancing. Every time Stump tries to attack, Nako’s sleeve catches on to him and throws him off balance. Or, Nako would trips him and Stump takes a fall face first.
“This doesn’t work. How about this?” Stump says as he switches to use Nintendo’s speed attacks. Nako then uses her sleeves and swings them side ways. Her sleeves manage to wrap on stump’s waist. Nako then swings Stump on to a tree with great force.
“Oh my….that hurts….you okay?” Nako asks in a playful manner.
“YOU!!.....HOW DARE YOU!!” Stump screams and he goes for the “Maximum Cyclone”. He takes aim at Nako. But before he can fire Nako already kicks his hilt upwards and then Nako lands a few more kicks on Stump’s body. As Stump recovers, he sees Nako is still acting like she is flowing around in the air. Stump then switches to use Raven’s “8 ways bo-staff”. Nako just giggles as Stump advances towards her. She uses her sleeve to wrap around Stump’s saber hilt and pull him towards her. Stump uses this chance to pint his saber towards Nako. Nako uses her other sleeve and swing s it again Stump. Stump ducks and Nako’s sleeve hits on a tree trunk. When the sleeve hits the tree trunk, it hits so hard that the tree starts shaking and many leafs fall off from the tree. Stump just shocked to see such power from a sleeve. Nako uses this chance to pull Stump’s saber hilt from him.
“Give me back my saber you witch!!” Stump yells. Nako already lands a few kicks on him again. She throws his saber hilt in the air as she attacks Stump some more with nothing but her sleeves. Nako spins her body around and hits Stump in a circular motion.
“You want your hilt? Here it is, CATCH!” Nako says as Stump’s saber hilt falls down. She kicks the saber hilt and the hilt flies towards Stump and hits him on the forehead. Nako then uses her sleeve to catch it again and kick it up into the air. Stump jumps up tries to catch it but he got smacked down like volleyball by Nako once more and takes a very nasty fall on the ground.
“Ouch….that must have hurt also….you sure you still want to continue?” Nako asks as she giggles. Kurino is just amazed by Nako. She knows Loking is strong, but she never imagine Nako can be this strong too.
“Stop laughing at me! I said stop laughing!!!” Stump just screams. Nako swings her body and dodges Stump’s attacks and then lands a kick on Stump’s chin. That kick makes Stump to do a back flip in the air before hitting the ground.
“Seriously I think this is getting you no where. Why don’t you let us go and you back to your business?” Nako asks.
“Shut up!! Who are you to tell me what to do? My business is with you now!!” Stump gets up and keeps on fight Nako. Nako’s stance and fighting style is too unpredictable. She is like dancing in mid air. Her sleeves are her weapons but they pack quite a punch.
“Once again…..I do suggest you stop your ambitions and step back to think about your past actions. You claim yourself as a Jedi, but your actions speak differently. Is this how a great Jedi should act? If you find someone who doesn’t like you, you will go to no end and punish that person with any method? You even created cold blooded torture and killing methods!!” Nako says to Stump.
“I said SHUT YOUR MOUTH!!! Whoa re you to judge me? I am going to be the new leader of the NEW Jedi Council. People like you, who process unusual skills, should NOT be allowed to be alive!!” Stump screams back towards Nako.
”You are even more hopeless than the last time you as force user during the war!”
“I know you do think that way…..HALFBREED!!!”
“Oh…I just love the sound of you saying that.”
“This time, Kagetsuki is not here to save you now!! That care taker is not going to make it here in time too!! YOU WILL DIE THIS TIME!!” Stump just screams like a mad man. Nako sighs as she jumps backwards and lands. Nako’s face is still as lively as before. Stump on the other hand, he is breathing hard, very hard.
“Is this worth it? For many people’s homes and lives are lost. Is this worth it?” Nako asks
“It is worth it as long as I remain as a supreme Jedi!!”
“Don’t you know how important life is?”
“Yes I know!! How important MY life is. So, just die Halfbreed!”
Nako just feels there is no way she can talks any sense in Stump. At this moment Loking has arrived.
“What took you so long? I have to spoil my acting as a weak person because of that. Nako asks.
“Well, looks like you handle yourself pretty well. And I was rushing here like crazy.”
“You did….for…me..?”
“Whatever…..for now, I am taking over this fight. You have no objections right?”
“Just do as you wish.”
Loking then looks at Stump.
“Ahh…looks like you did well bullying my ….. friend...here. I usually don’t get tick off that easily. But, I hate bullies. I guess today, I have to make it special. Nako, get Kurino to where the books are!!” Loking says. At this time, Spyder arrives too.
“Master, let me deal with him. You do what you have to do master!! Or you can let me take care of this lowly halfbreed!!” Spyder says as he makes his advances to Nako. Just then, from the sky, Chalice makes his entrance. He lands before Nako and blocks Spyder’s way.
“Our little date is not over yet you know? Please let me have some wonderful memories with you.” Chalice says. Spyder doesn’t respond except start attacking. Before Spyder can reach Chalice, Loking leaps into the air and spin kick Spyder in the side of his head. That launches Spyder right into a tree.
“Switch partners.” Loking said. Chalice just gives a “fine by me” expression. Nako just goes and looks after Kurino.
“Why you!!” Spyder screams as he injects more his serum and start fighting. Loking just oulls his leg up and then smack Spyder down on the ground right there. Then Chalice forces Stump awau from Nako and Kurino. Loking and Chalice plans to get the Stump and Spyder away from Nako and Kurino. They have to do it before the Blood Hound troopers arrive. There are still lots finding their way here.
“Are you going to be fine? Big sister Nako?”
“Yes we will be. You see, Chalice and Loking are here now.”
Nako is a bit relieved when Loking and Chalice arrived. Kurino is about to go to Nako when she sees Stump is holding a blaster is pointing at Chalice. Chalice kicks the gun away and the gun hits the ground. Spyder jump and catches and just fires randomly. Chalice just stands in front of Loking and uses his scyhte to deflect the shots. Just then, the two heard a scream from Nako.
“KURINO!!!!!”
Nako’s hands are full of Kurino’s blood. Kurino took a shot at her right rib and falls down on the ground. There is still a little life in her.
“Oh no…….” Loking says as he jumps and sees how Nako’s doing.
“Kurino…stay with me, stay with me. Remember I promised that we will go tiur everywhere! STAY WITH ME!! WE are going to see the stars of the great universe!! There still many things you have to see! Kurino!!”
“Don’t….cry……I……I see……mommy……mommy is here……mommy…. is here!!We….go…thank you…. big sister Nako…Kurino…is…..happy….to …mee..”
Kurino smiles as she slowly falls into her deep and eternal sleep. There are still tears in her eyes and she is still holding on to Nako’s hands.
“You are my morning star. Always, so bright. Never leaves my sight. Never, sway my path. My morning star, how I have loved you. Never leave my side…..sleep…sleep tight…..sleep.”
Nako is singing the song she always sings to Kurino at night time. Then she lifts her head up and cries.
“HA!! One down! You did a good job for her being your shield!! HAHAHA” Stumpr says. Spyder just stands there. He feels empty. He knows he can kill enemies with weapons and enemies that can fight back. He didn’t plan on doing anything to a child. Now, he killed one, indirectly. Spyder just stands there and looked shocked. Loking and Chalice can already hear the troopers are getting near.
“There is no place for you four….I mean three to run now. HAHAHA!! Victory is mine!” Stump says. Suddenly, a huge force pressure falls on the area. It is so strong that even Chalice finds himself have a bit of trouble with breathing. Loking just looks fine. Spyder kneels on the ground and trying to get up. Stump is having a bit of trouble too.
“What is this?” Spyder asks.
“You have just re-awakened the fighting spirit. Now, she is fully awakened.” Loking says.
“This is not pretty.” Chalice says.
The next thing Stump sees is Nako standing up. She puts Kurino’s body down on the ground. She looks back towards Stump and the other. He can see the deep rage in her eyes. Tears are still on her face.
“You…...now you have done it....” Nako says. She walks towards Stump and Spyder. As she walks, her hair is turning gray and then white. Her eyes are turning red, blood red. She lefts her head up. Loking and Chalice look at her and find her smiling. It is like she is excited about something.
“Let me tell you something, there are three stages in a fight: beginning, climax, and ending. I never do any warning shots. I always, always begin and end on the climax. Since you gave me so much stress, this is going to be very interesting.”
Nako says as she let out a very menacing laugh.
