Sorry, as I told some people I went away this weekend camping in the great outdoors. Back now, so Ill continue the fixes. Everything should be done at this point except for the memorial textures....uughhh.. I really... REALLY dont want to mess with those again!!!!

had a chance to mess around on the map the other night with nec. man this map is crazy good! saw some of the little nods to members (although i didn't see mine :/ ). even though my heart is in a million pieces now
you've done an incredible job LK!!!!
don't we have KR Kookies or something we can give him? shine his shoes or something?

i did some testing noticed small bugs...taipan is spelled taipon :p
these are mostly opinions on my part
Minor Bugs:
-Taipan Mispell
-Elevator to dueling area i believe is kind of difficult to jump on after you use the button
-Theres no little random object about me >.> lol
-swoops didnt spawn for me
-On the swoop track if you go left first about the 2nd corner it has no lighting its hard to see where the wall is might cause a lil pileup

Lighting on the swoop track was done the way it was intentionally. Some dark spots that might cause pileups was what I was shooting for.
As far as lighting, I'm not into full-bright. The bedroom is a case in point. All other areas are.. if anything, alittle to bright. Now I dont know if thats your monitor or mine (Ive seen pictures of other maps from the same area where in one it was fine, and the other it was very dark).
The lighting in the tree area NEEDS to be like it is for technical reasons. If it was bright, it would look like hell.. like every other tree map that has been made. Besides.. it is a night-time setting.
Other areas.. hmm. Rancor area is damn bright so I dunno. Main area is bright to... play ground area is pretty bright as well.
Let me put it this way... how many of you think the map is to dark and if so.. which areas.
*** - S1 - yea, same thing happened to evan when testing it by himself, but online we were not able to duplicate that.

I think the lighting is perfectly fine. You also have to remember, I'm one of the people who hates maps like FFA2 cuz it's hell to see people with dark skins *cough<3Sencough* Still though, I personally like the darker edge to the map. It's dark, but not TOO dark that it's awful.
Honestly, all in all, I don't think the map needs anymore or any less light in any of the areas. Though the dark areas are good, it's still nice to have the brighter parts in places like the rancor room and playground.
So, the point of this whole post is just to say, I like the lighting as is

Personally haven't even dl'ed the map, I've been busy doing other things, but I look forward to it, lighting good or not. Just seeing the pics I love it.

Yea, but to me, it's kind of harsh when a person spends all their time making a skin only to have it not seen by their own friends. As I see it, as long as I have the space for it, and it's a complete skin that I like, it's going in my base

1) taipan name - fixed
2) Two members whos names were twice - fixed
3) Spawn times made longer - fixed
4) Potion bottle in bedroom changed to health - fixed
5) All spawns spawn corectly - fixed (well they were fine to begin with)
6) tie's escaping.. hopefully fixed
7) Swoops now set to explode upon player getting off of them

textures on teddy fixed
9) textures in one of the memorial rooms fixed
10) I hope.. all textures are now fixed.
... did I miss something?

New version is done.. link is in the members only section.
- besides the fixes above, I added a turret gun to the nedroom area, and raised the lighting slightly in there as well.

I found 1 missing texture and a cliping, in the forest area the largest building (the one with the fire) if you go onto the roof, the "chimney" can be walked through, and the texture on the base of it isn't working for me.
And there is 2 Seriphim's Memo's in the bedroom. And where's my reference >.< there was a time I was the most active member, and I wasn't even a member. (I'm kidding, I don't need one)

I didn't have any problems at all on my side, of course, I didn't go up onto the roof like Gos did and end up walking through a chimney, so no clue if that happened to me.

Chimney is a shader issue, but one that I wont be fixing since its just decor anyway.
Ill have to check the texture out.
edit: OK, found the texture in question.. it's inside the chimney on the roof side. Should I fix it? How visible is it... hmm.
