im working on a sword to go with shadow blader, and i wanted to make it so that the model file replaced the one on a default saber, i know its possible, somebody on our forums posted a saber called cable that replace the model for single_4 or sumtin, doing that made it visable without server side support

i can live without the effects of the sword, i just want it to be visable to me T_T



the sword so far :D

it works great right now, i just want to see it on server >_>

so if anybody here knows how to do it, and/or can redirect me to the topic i mentioned, plz speak up :D

The sword has to be uploaded on the server for you to be able to see it I think. And since it's obviously got at least a length advantage, I don't see that happening.

actually fal, the length of the saber is not determined by the blade you see, as is the case with desann

and i dont want the actual length, just the imaging to work, i know its possible {see above }

the actual length if aplied as such is 55, normal sabers are 40, and desann is 65, so its about in the middle, i believe the length of the sith sword about

im pretty sure they all have to be uploaded to the server cuz i had a bunch of savers that i couldnt see even though they replaced other textures. all i saw was the regular black sith saber

ye the blades turned off, im hoping to change the .sab file to still have all the important settings, but make the saber blade itself invisible

only i can see it, comes in handy ;)
